Ogechi from Greenwich(mytradebook) has been so nice.Attending to all my online needs.He has told me today is the last day my tradebook will be down.

Someone here tagged stanbic ibtc as a good firm.Let me contact them.i want to have a second online broker in case of any failure.

Pls note that Lead Capital may be excellent in other aspect of investment o, but as for brokerage, not too good in my opinion.

If going with STANBIC, then consder and compare the fees. You fit no do JIJO anyhow there...in my opinion.

Ogechi has been very up and doing at GTL/Mytradebook. Customer response good too.....but site response can be slow during downtime.

Their response is usually slow.....
Do your findings make I no too talk......but me no go recommend Lead Capital for brokerage activities sha.

Don't leave Mytradebook totally.
* It still have its advantages as well and the site is user friendly.
Also, the fees aren't bad and there are some features I like about the portal----- Like, ability to place your bid/offer for execution within a month period, deposit directly using your Mastercard, easy withdrawal from the portal, market view, etc.

* In terms of fees, I think Morgan still have the cheapest and the speed is faster with good customer relationship.
* Atlas's Cititrader also has similar features to Morgan.
* STANBIC has its own too I believe.......maybe loan facility, etc.....

So, do your homework well, follow the one that suit your needs but don't exit Mytradebook totally. My take.

Starting from their minimum investment amt.......to buy/sell fees.
Guess it's most suitable for value investors.
The big ogas using it here may be of help anyway.

Like Iygeal said, I expected that you should have had additional brokerage house by now.

Atlas's Cititrader is there if you don't want to register with Morgan. They have similar site as Morgan but fees may be different. Either or both of them are suitable for your kind of trading.

most got trap on transcorp today because of some of the daily post about off market trade today bla bla bla in 100 of millions deals during the saga despite the poor Q1. 100 of millions deal posted here without reminding member of the not good Q1, pple got carried away missed the opportunity to sell at good price.

It was the Otedola factor that made people to stay put, it was Otedola factor that made the price to rise from 1.30/1.35 to 3.24....… and it was the same Otedola's exit that halted the upward price movement and everyone trying to exit out of panic since he was no longer on the board of TRANSCORP.

I could remember someone made mention of the poor result along the line too, but since two elephants were still spraying money, some stayed to partake out of the loot.

On a serious note, I want to appreciate you for your effort on this platform. One of your post drew my attention once again to transcorp about 3 weeks ago and I quickly bought at 147k and sold two fridays ago @ 2.95k.

I had earlier bought 10m units of transcorp at 95k a year ago but sold 6 months after when it is tying down my investment. But when I saw your posts where you highlighted the large volumes of transcorp bought and ask when we will start taking transcorp seriously, I quickly picked 3m units and you know me, I quickly sold when the door is still wide.
