locodemy:Well, it looks like some fund managers and maybe institutional investors are the ones with huge bids..... Retailers looks cautious.......but they are having confidence because of them........maybe the fund managers know what we don't know yet. **Just my opinion o** Let's keep watching....... * I deleted the post cos I don't want to be insulted or blamed for anyone's exit/entry decision. ![]() |
GTCO Final Dividend: N2.80k Qualification Date: 1st May, 2023 Payment Date: 11th May, 2023 Registrar: Datamax https://doclib.ngxgroup.com/Financial_NewsDocs/38243_GUARANTY_TRUST_HOLDING_COMPANY_PLC-GTCO-CORPORATE_ACTIONS_ANNOUNCEMENT_CORPORATE_ACTIONS_APRIL_2023.pdf |
Fair? Life isn't always fair but you must continue to fight and focus on what is within your power to change |
Agbalowomeri:I see. Now that we know nko? 🤔 Lol. Fear not, EFCC get plenty works on ground for now. After May 29, the work go double, so enjoy your dividend in peace. ![]() |
Kind heartedness is a virtue, not everyone possess it; but then, it's often abused and seen as weakness |
mendes911:Oga Mendes thank you o. I should have known not to reply on the big ogas posts cos they know ahead and far better than me. Make Una no vex. ![]() So Agba saw this since yesterday and still asking today instead of notifying us? Hhmmm. 🤔🤔 |
*Modified* GTCO declared N2.80k final dividend Total Dividend for 2022 FYE = N3.10. A good one. ![]() |
dpacificheraclx:Geregu power has been invited to bid for Geregu 2 and may most likely win this..... Reason he raised funds to acquire it. Whether it will be finalized before Buhari leaves office or not is another thing. There are other power plants up for sale aside Geregu 2 nah. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ripplesnigeria.com/otedola-sells-geregu-shares-to-raise-funds-amid-bid-for-new-power-plant/%3famp |
Ajibade123:Well, no one can boldly say anything o. ![]() The more we look, the less we see .........someone like me can only be following the dictates of Mr. Market. As at now, the stock is still on demand, anything can happen anytime..... However, like some ogas said, TRANSCORP is undervalued at CP. It's for the extra patient ones. |
Zagee:Lol. You may be right too. Reason I said no one can know what they could be planning behind closed doors. ![]() .....but during the Afrexim purchase, it was specifically for Geregu from the correspondences. |
Zagee:I don't think this is the case, though one can never know what's going on in these guy's minds. AFDB's stake was mainly for GEREGU 2 if I'm not mistaking........ Otedola might be strategizing ahead by moving into Transcorp to buy some stakes. dipoolowoo:We are used to their initial denial. Also saw Transcorp's mail as per this.......but I think what they were saying was that they've not been formally informed or so. |
Payunsin:Attached is the situation as at now...... Full bid with over 200M bids at day's high, N1.69k There are other bids below 1.69 too. In another news, an entity or some entities seems to be buying lots of volume in FIDELITY and UBA. The rate of crossings in FIDELITY especially is unusual....
|
locodemy:Lol. Can't forget that last time. I just don't want to make any comment about this Transcorp than to say let's hope this time it'll be a different ball game, since a new investor is involved. ![]() I'd also thought about the separation of power. |
megamart247:Wow!! This life!! NYSE and LSE don humble una. ![]() Abi no be this Oga dey laugh many us in the past? Una welcome back to NSE o. ![]() If you buy today, you should qualify....... However, I'll not advice you pick it again because today is the last qualification date .....except you have some units already in your portfolio before today. |
Interesting! Hope to read further updates on this. |
BabsO2:Not true. UBA Nominees is still the largest shareholder with 9.25% shareholding while Femi Otedola is the 2nd (with 5.52%) as at today...... Unless he increases his shareholding..... See the attached....
|
Pls disregard such foul words as "Simp" that's common with those red pillers and misogynists |
locodemy:Lol. That 'patience' is now the issue. ![]() .....but when taking any decision if expectations are delaying, try not to sell all at any given time...,..think you were also advised about this previously too. *Also, I think once you identify these stocks, you may have to monitor the mvmts first before diving in.....no vex say newbie dey advice o. See the Transcorp you've waited for since all these months, if not years self.......not easy to wait since that period truly. Could remember when you bought @1.40 that time. Chai!! It's well. |
locodemy:Are you in Chams already? Told you it's not yet time for JAPAUL that time.......but I somehow have faith in your pick .......you always have eyes for them. Only hope you'll be able to wait and endure till it's time sha. I don't think there's the need to feel bad about Transcorp..... opportunities will be coming in-between. |
CHAMS - Some moves here....... - Currently sighted @26k @Locodemy any news? Or maybe it has to do with the coming Census... |
Streetinvestor2:If factored in, it should be coming to around the figures you mentioned in your post..... B: 0.921% S: 1.263% **NB: I didn't do the Arithmetics o, just guess estimation** |
Ginalex:Lol. People no wan dull themselves again........ ![]() Just try and keep eye on the mvmt sha. |
TRANSCORP Una don chop the offer finish!! ![]() Full bid @1.54.......
|

I'm fine. Thanks Madam. ![]() |

Streetinvestor2:My mind went straight to Madam Anjilgreat as I see this question. It's been discussed here before..... Chai!! Many active monikers in the past have remain anonymous and in ghost mode these days..... ![]() See below: anjilgreat:UPDATED CHARGES : Buying: 0.88% + N4.30 SMS charges + 7.5% VAT on Broker's Comm. Selling: 1.225% + N4.30 SMS charges + 7.5% VAT on Broker's Comm. |
Streetinvestor2:Lol. DiarisGod o. ![]() |
dpacificheraclx:Femi Otedola becomes the 2nd largest shareholder in Transcorp Plc. https://nairametrics.com/2023/04/12/breaking-femi-otedola-acquires-5-52-of-transcorp-plc/ ** 5.52% translates to around 2.24B units.......the remaining OS/Free float is still on the high side sha.....will just keep eye on it** |
Olaide1295:Also, bidding was ongoing for some of the power plants...... Otedola is adding Geregu 2........ He may be making some strategic moves ahead....... Interesting times ahead in the power sector really.... |
OBAGADAFFI:Ok now!! So we now know the buyer...... We the fans of Ote$$ will now pay more attention and interest in Transcorp........ ![]() Hope another big boss will pick more % or Ote$$ will increase the % as time goes on...... ![]() ** He's currently the 2nd largest owner in Transcorp Plc with 5.52% shares, translating to 2.2Billion units |
NapoleonHill:Outstanding Shares......Total number of shares of a company available for trading in market. Innclusive of those ones held by institutional investors. For instance, Transcorp's OS is currently 40.65Billion... This was noted to be huge and somehow affecting the share price from moving up and gaining significantly........because the number of shares for Free Float is 39.65Billion or thereabout. Free float are the ones available or can be accessible for trading on the secondary market, which is the Stock Exchange..... Thats my little understanding of it. ![]() |
Zagee:I thought AMCON was the buyer ![]() |
