Also, what can you deduce or guess from the hearing from both parties? In favour of minority or the Company?

There's no one way to the market....
Like earlier mentioned by one Oga, this market reacts so much to sentiments.
Favourable sentiments may again surface and then, it will be all green again.....
Be ready to wait it out if you buy and just have a strategy to buy more if it tanks....
If you continue to wait for bottom, you'll end up buying NOTHING in this market
In as much as it is a good and fundamentally sound stock, I don't see any cause for alarm..
Some Ogas can wait for years just to pick at grave robber price, someone's total portfolio may not even be up to 5% of theirs........ whenever they buy, they buy big and strike much bigger, but it can take years for just one transaction in the market, their brokers didn't like them.....

Depends on you, think both are okay sha....... Dividend or price appreciation....
Just have a plan in place to average down if it tanks the more and be ready to wait it out.
Watch the body language of both as well......look for likely bottom, market news and market's reactions to the prices in the sector.....

** This is purely my personal opinion. Remember we all have different risk tolerance levels, emotions and approach to market fluctuations.....😊

I think it is temporary. Tied around the bond auction of yesterday. The auction marginal rates started going down self. Some of those that bided too high and got nothing will come back to the market sooner or later.

The biggest disappointment so far is Dangote, with the deceitful so called merger. I recall someone gave us the expo here at the beginning of the year that Dangote will fall our hand big time.

I think Corporate Actions from indigenous companies used to be very slow compared to the ones with international presence/parent companies...

- The merger is not deceitful (EXCEPT Alhaji cancelled it ooo)
- If there won't be merger, then, the public wouldn't have been informed by the 2 listed companies in separate company disclosures

Links to all these disclosures were provided here around that time last year........i no fit find any link for now.

Any updates are expected to occur after the NASCON Annual General Meeting (AGM).

I also think we should exercise more patience till next month too, to see what updates we may again have.

Good opportunity... methinks one has to set limits to number of stocks.. like a target number.. otherwise oju kokoro can make somebody keep buying and buying until you no longer have disposable income remaining

* Every stock is not for everybody....
In as much as you have your objectives well defined and you have your preferred stocks with reasons for doing so, no qualms.

* Some long termers and regular income investors will cherish this kind of stock while traders/liquidity chasers may not.

* Since there are different set of investors here, then there'll be divers kinds of posts like this that suits different needs.

* I just type wetin comes to my mind.

Please, how do you get to know that particular deal was done off market, after all it was available on the trade deal list of GTCO

* OFF MARKET DEALS does not pass thru trading engine
* You can get to know this thru your broker or news
* If you're a Morgan customer, you can see information on this in the news section.
* Try and be checking it from time to time
* Na the little I know be this.
* Any other person knowledgeable should enlighten us the more

* I think there are indicators when Cross Deals are made......BUT not open to users or individuals using iTrade.
* Maybe some houses flag this, I don't know.
* For those that monitors trades during trading hours, you can identify it when you see unusual volumes and figures in a particular stock...

* ZENITH, GT, MTN and few others traded in billions of Naira today with unusual volumes (that are ordinarily more than the total bid or offer in market), these are Cross Deals.

* If you're a regular trader, I think it's much easier to identify cross deals, especially when a stock is in demand/full bid and trades are being executed without the queue moving or you getting your fill if your bid is among the top on the queue....it happened in OANDO today.......the qty may not be big but would still be cross deals as well.

* Na my own little understanding be this.

i do not think the electricity subsidy removal will increase the income of the DISCOS. they had been over invoicing the govt on the subsidy. Now that customers on band A have to shoulder the responsibilities, they will be more prudent in energy utilizations

How will it not increase the income of the Discos?
Also remember that TRANSCORP is both DISCO and GENCO
