Hello, Thanks a lot for this information. Gone to the bank multiple times, made several calls and still couldn’t find a way to contact those in charge of the verification. We’re you able to get a response? Yaya88: |
I’m in a similar situation. My Biometrics was done on the 13th of June. I also don’t know the reason for the delay. I am using GtBank for my bank statement and have also reached out to them physically, I wasn’t able to get a straight response at the bank only that the embassy has its way of verifying the bank statements and they would respond accordingly Yaya88: |
Oh yes, the amount in my account has remain untouched ever since. The additional payment I just made wasn’t from the money in my bank statement. I only did this cause even I noticed the difference in the exchange rate is almost double since my date of application which might be the main information they are trying to convey. Any advice? lancoalase: |
I got an NSF in the past regarding study gap.(which I provided documents for). And after an interview, I got an empty NSF. Nothing else since then. duchess90: |
URGENT PLEASE URGENT PLEASE URGENT PLEASE @duchess and other bosses Biometric: 13th June Please note that my application is before the recent hike in the exchange rate. Good day, my university contacted me on Friday about my visa application stating that the UKVI reached out to them (Which is rare) regarding my finances saying that the money in my account was not sufficient. The school reviewed the bank statements using the rate as of the date of my application, did the calculations and also concluded that the money showing in my bank statement was indeed sufficient AS OF THE DATE OF APPLICATION. They told me they had relayed this information to UKVI. Steps Taken I have decided to pay part of my the balance of the tuition fee. After this payment, I only have a pending balance of GBP 1000. However, the payment would takes a few days to reflect in the university’s account. Question: I would like to inform UKVI of this payment. But the University has not gotten it yet. What else can I do and are there any other steps I can take? |
Please, would really appreciate a response to this Yo12345: |
@Duchess Please I have not yet heard from UKVI since Biometric Date : 13th of June Interview: 30th of June Empty NSF: 4th July I have done multiple paid emails and still not yet concluded. The issue now is that my course start date was today and still I haven’t heard from UKVI. I have contacted the school. Question: Are there any urgent steps I need to take in this kind of situation? Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thank you |
Hello guys, I am at the beginning of the process. Please what’s the update regarding getting available visa slots. Thanks |
Good Afternoon everyone, I am trying to do a paid call/mail to inquire about my application status as i haven't heard back since i got the NSF mail more than a week ago. Please, what is the process of doing this? Note: I am way past the 15 working days stipulated time and the resumption date is quite close. Thank you |
Please who knows the address for TLS application center in VI? |
Thanks a lot for your support all through. Really appreciate you! duchess90: |
Hello Everyone, I just booked my biometric appointment date and uploaded the documents. Please are there any additional steps after this? |
What is this tax clearance certificate? Kassidy4luv: |
URGENT URGENT Please I need a little help here 1. I have completed my visa application form and want to SELF-UPLOAD the documents and then book the biometric appointment. However, following the link from the visa application form, It seems I will have to book an appointment first before uploading the documents. IS THIS CORRECT, would I only be redirected to the page where I can upload the required documents after selecting a date for the appointment? 2. I got my CAS document 12 days ago. The school advised submitting the same financial document used to obtain the CAS. (The bank statement was till May 24th) - Is this bank statement still valid or do i need to get a more recent copy? |
My major concerns is regarding applications submitted with POF using the current rate on OANDA. When this change finally takes effect, would already submitted applications be affected? heykims: |
Thanks for your response. Just to pray these past visa denials dont have a negative impact on this current application Cashmadam: |
Good Everyone, If i have been refused US visa twice, Do i need to input this information 2 times or once is Okay? |
Please anyone with answers. I would really appreciate it Yo12345: |
Hello @duchess90 and other experienced contributors, I am currently filling up the application form: The section where I need to input the Course fee and the amount I have paid. The school gives an automatic #1000 scholarship. My CAS includes This #1000 in the amount deposited (Actual fee deposited + #1000 scholardship). MY QUESTION: Do I input the AMOUNT PAID just as stated in the CAS or without the #1000 scholarship? Thank you for you time |
I run a service company here in the UAE which is attached to my Resident Visa. However, my company license is currently expired (Does not affect my Visa). Unfortunately, VFS requires an updated company license while submitting documents. There are a few obstacles in the license renewal hence why I have decided to travel to Nigeria for the sole purpose of the document submission. I am ready to start my application ASAP. So I wont be staying in Nigeria past the 6 month duration before applying. I Plan on starting the application here in UAE and going to submit the documents in Nigeria. Just wanted to confirm if this plan is feasible Thank You. duchess90: |
@dduchess90 and other knowledgable members. I just started my visa application process but i have a few questions. I currently reside in UAE (Way longer than 6 months) and plan to start my application here. This means I am exempt from presenting the TB Certificate. But i want to choose a VAC in Nigeria to submit the biometrics and other documents. 1. Is this possible? 2. While applying do i need to set my address as UAE or Nigeria Note: I am aware I will have to prove my stay in a country that is exempt from the TB Certificate (I plan to present documents like passport stamps and any other documents) Thank You

bisi16:Yes I have. Wow, would need to figure out how I answered this part back in 2017. This friend of yours, do you mind sharing a little bit more about his experience, so I have a better idea of the action i should take moving forward |
Hello everyone, I am a resident here in Dubai, UAE. I plan to submit my UK student visa application from here but after my research, I have only gotten more confused. So here are some questions I have. Don't know if these questions have been answered in a previous post, please be kind to answer if you have the information (It would be very helpful) 1. Do I need to apply for a biometrics submission appointment if I have done so with a previous visit visa application back in 2017 2. Can I use my Nigerian Bank Account Statement in my application 3. I would not need the TB test if I apply from here, is this correct? Thanks in advance! |
Greetings everyone, I am about to fill up the online application form and I came across this question. "Do you have any family in the UK?". The only family member I have is my Father's distant cousin. (Please note that we had applied for a visit in the past). My Question: According to the hints below the question (as seen in the screenshot), it only indicates immediate family members or partners. So do I select Yes/No? Thanks in advance

Aloysius20:Yeah I think so too, I’m more worried about losing the appointment date, since I’m outside Nigeria and getting an appointment slot has been difficult. Another thing I’m considering is to submit a new/correct DS160 form and get the new confirmation page and go to the interview with both old and new (saw this online when I researched my options) Please tell me what you think |
Malone122:Thanks for the response. I have submitted and booked an appointment, to update the new DS160 means I’ll have to cancel and reschedule. Thanks I was hoping I wouldn’t have to cancel |
Good day everyone, I just noticed I made a little mistake on my DS160 form (Bachelors degree completion date: September 2015 instead of January 2015 ) and I am about to make the correction which according to my research would create a new application number. Please I would like to know if this change is important and if so, is there a way to make the change without canceling my appointment? Can I go to the appointment with the old DS160 form I used to book the appointment and the newly corrected form? |
