TROVE NEED TO MAKE THEIR PLATFORM MORE USER FRIENDLY Trading with Trove is sometimes a pain in the neck. Somehow, I think they are trying to protect our various account,which is good. But sometimes the switch ch to demo mode and to revert back to our trading account takes so long. To do one buy in Trove I would have done like 5 transactions between Chaka and Vest. If you need to introduce something new, just email us first. We appreciate the need for security due to the too many fraudsters in Nigeria and online in general, but the brokers have been able to protect Customer's account well over time. We appreciate the security consciousness And for fraudsters please stay away you I will be caught and disgraced soon. |

HAPPY TO KNOW THAT CHAKA, TROVE AND VEST CAN PICK OUR CALLS I have been asking Chaka to add a number of tickers for quite some time, but there has been no response. Today I picked my phone, to my suprise a human being (not robot), picked the call and as we were speaking she was adding the tickers I requested for and immediately I dropped the call, I checked the tickers and they showed up on the platform. Market Started On a Scary Note but ended well. The above reason is why we cannot run away for m the market. For our Caucus members, tommorrow we will give them a gist on the hedgefund that has loaded up on that our flagship stock? I am sure we will all be happy to be in the same stock with that type of hedge fund and now Trump have added some; icing for the stock to go up and every month we collect our normal rent from the stock. If the stock is falling in price (may happen from time to time), let us just take the fall with a pinch of salt it is temporal, it is like we have build a house, whether property market fall or rise we will continue collecting our monthly rent!!! TODAY LOOKING VERY SCARY Today is looking like another bearish day except something exceptional happens. What can we do!!! Let us keep our cash. For those who can have the time to monitor the market, we can play the inverse side like TSLS, SOXS..we need to really look at our portfolio, if we are too exposed to a stock, like NVDA, we may just need to hedge with the inverse. *WEEKEND GIST- US STOCK MARKET*- Extract The market closed positive on Friday as inflation data showed rise in inflation slowed down than what was expected. Equally in terms of economic growth data, the US figures were okay giving Government the confidence to lower the Treasury rate ( *the summary of all these*English is that stock market is likely to continue rising). On our Bitcoin stocks, they are likely to hit the bottom soon despite the gloomy forecast from some quarters, Monday we should see a bullish market, commodities may likely continue to face challenges as end of Russia/Ukraine war will lead to increased in output of Oil/grains, so the prices of these commodities should be lower. MARKET UPDATE 28 FEBRUARY 2025/WHAT DO WE DO WHEN MARKET IS FALLING One of the reason that this forum is fairly quiet than NSEMPA is that, Global market is highly volatile (stock can move 100% in one day and the sectors on top changes frequently. Like at the moment, Chinese/technology stocks are in uptrend, while Bitcoin stocks are down. Another reason is that news can be misleading, the foundation laid in yesteryears by the big money using news to deceive retail traders stands. Anytime to see news saying but, it is likely the market is at the top or selling is still going on. If market is falling, let us keep our cash. Equally, no stock can rise forever l, retracement must come. For example I never thought one can short TSLA until now, why, one of the reason TSLA may continue falling is tariff. As long as tariff hike is in play, Automakers are likely to be affected. But for TSLA, if next result is boosted by other businesses like the battery, technology side, we may see TSLA rising again. TODAY'S MARKET IS LOOKING TOUGH BUT THERE ARE TOO MANY STRONG STOCKS TO BATTLE THE BEARS I like the vibe in the Caucus, like somebody telling us he has sold one strong GRAGRA stock, and I ask him why, he said he has made 50% gain. That was within 2 to 3 weeks. I said okay, the following day the stock rose 15% and some of us including me are still in the stock!!! For today, market may do a little shakeout, we should maintain our positions, we want to avoid getting in and out of the market too frequently. Let our stop loss for the job of when to get our. As we must have explained somewhere 20 to 25% loss on a trade is not likely to be more than 2% if we look at our total portfolio value,so it is reasonable. Equally is we look at the figure, some research have found out that this 20 to 25% is optimal to ensure long term profitability for our portfolio Note:trading US stocks requires knowledge, but the knowledge is scare (I am not surprised that this forum is not extremely active, if you check other US stock investing platform, you will see that this is the most active, as we have those NSEMPA popular guys here, many hiding behind the scene, I am one of the too and I have decided take this forum as my go to forum, I think once a while, I may post some comments on Nigeria stocks (maybe not, I do not want to derail this forum, I will take any comment on Nigeria stocks to NSEMPA)

SOMETIMES THE UNEXPECTED HAPPENS OR WE SAY A SHOCK OCCURS WHAT DO WE DO Tariff issue looks like a big problem, Trump firing the first shot in what may attract retaliation from other Countries. The immediate effect is to bring the Bears back. But again no need to panic. Trump is used to this and the Chinese equally knows how to retaliate. So for Monday, we need to keep watch, there may be need to get out of some risky positions, but we can retain those stocks for the long term (PLTR, CCL, GOLD stocks etc). This will the hard but we have to deal with in the Caucus this week). TODAY WILL BE ANOTHER BULLISH DAY Early market indicators are telling us us that today will be a big recovery day. Is our Caucus a group, yes. Does everybody post in the group, no. The reason we do not allow every posting to go to all members is that we do not want people with half education to confuse the group (you can take a clue from here or NSEMPA, people who have just faint idea or have not opened account talk less of trading will be suggesting stock to buy!!! absord.
