MARKET NOT TOO BAD TODAY
Today is not a bad day. Brutal bear attack reduced. Also we position our-self against tomorrow's action. There is high probability that rate cut will likely be. So, who do ask, we get the people's opinion. see below (our Caucus members knows where this information is coming from). Okay let us take the side that the old rate would be retained

CORRECT NVDA PREMARKET PREVE AS AT 10.42WAT

Stock gained over 4% premarket

[b]SOME CONFUSION IN THE MARKET- WE NEED TO HEDGE OUR POSITION[/b]
Looking at the premarket figures for some websites. The gig losses for the likes of NVDIA as still showing as premarket for today.

We do not need to panic, if the loss continues like yesterday, we just need to exit some of our positions.

There should be some confusion in the figures NASDAQ/Bitcoin index cannot be postive and NDVA and blockchain stock premarket showing Negative.

Let us wait for the market to open and based on what we see, we can either adge our postion or exit some traders. This is very important.

I will give more update later today.

THOUGH TIME DOES NOT LAST:
TODAY IS TIME TO POSITION OURSELF FOR BIG MOVE AFTER FOMC TOMMORROW.

For our Caucus, we will continue with buying our coffee can stocks and then be a little bit adventorous, bur still buying blockcahin stocks.

Wishin all the best. We are here to make money. At lease our weekly/monthly dividends are giving us money to trade even if we add no new funds to our accounts. The weekly/monthly didvidends may be one of the reason why some of us have little interest in the Nigerian stocks. But we still do little Nigerian stocks, at least those with good corporate Governance.

WHAT IS LIKEY TO HAPPEN NEXT WEEK
Current American political environment can be called "businesscrazy" government of the business by the businesses (Elon Musk is now like a Minister In the Cabinet, I am sure he may not even take any Salary or if he is to be paid anything it would be minimal, imaging having a Tony Elumelu or Dangote as Minister in Nigeria?)

With Fed Meeting for next week, considering all the support and assistances the businesses/financial experts are giving Trump Government (I was surprised that the popular Ashworth Dasmodaran, sorry you can google his name may not be totally correct) is equally interested in stocks, and for him the US economy is in a state where growth is automatic, so this year we may forget the fear of recession).

Next week is likely to be bullish, the Fed has no option but to cut rates or just retain them. Imagine the number of toes he Will be stepping on if he decides to do otherwise,starting from the President (the Fed Chairman's job is not an easy one).

As per our on going theme on the caucus, RGTI, plus other quantum names should still be in our watchlist,despite the attack from the big companies, it seems the small cap Quantum stocks cannot be killed (remember somewhere along the chain Quantum is part of AI and AI indirectly has link to Elon Musk).

IT IS A NEW DAWN FOR MEMBERS OF THIS FORUM
Today as first day of Trump assumption of office. The market just have to be be green .

Our Caucus members already have the market blueprint for today. One of our stocks for the day is PLTR. This stock is like a sure banker for this new Trump era.

We have been adding many new members to the forum, and the good thing is that they are all happy with what they are getting. Can you believe me, despite the fact that market was closed yesterday, we still have stock picks?Also, we give some websites that you can give you free stock ideas which you then apply your trading system to know bet time to buy.

However, we can say no trading idea can be better than what you get from us due to our rigorously process. Our today's watchlist are super.

MARKET UPDATE
Market is not bad. Today we recover some old losses and added some few gains. Our main task is now to manage our positions, know when to accept our losses and when to exit with our profits.

I am sure people who are members of the Caucus will now have a different perspective on trading/investing. Just like some people that swear with Biotech stocks, I used to be one before, but now I somehow avoid biotechs. So the less people we have in our Caucus the better. Why the better, because the people who are not part of the Caucus becomes the one that will supply us profit in the market, they lose and we gain.

We had a fairly good week and we look forward to next week. MONDAY 20 JAN IS A MARKET HOLIDAY. By Tuesday, 1st day after Trump inauguration what will the market do: likely to be bullish

TODAY IS LOOKING LIKE A RANDOM MARKET FOR GAINS
Except something exceptional happens, all our trades for today should result in profits.

MANY PEOPLE HAVE HAD A TASTE OF OUR CAUCUS VIA OUR 2 DAY TEST DRIVE
We are sure of our system, people who have tested the Caucus can testify to the fact that we can make you generate profit on your portfolio.

For those not aware that there are weekly dividend paying ETF, please google "QDTE". Actually the history of weekly dividend started sometimes ago. I can't remember the year, SOFI started probably an ETF then, but the dividend rate was ridiculous like $0.001, but now thing have have changed there are quite a number of them and the yield when annualised is highly reasonable.

Can we say this is a result of computer/algorithmic trading systems. So we should not be surprised if many traders are making losses. You are trading against computers and sometimes fairly well capitalised day traders. To survive, you need technical analysis which is nearly similar to using computers to generated trading ideas. So this is where our Caucus comes in. The member remember when we use a website to predict that Trump will win, that particular website can also tell us what CPi will do. So today at the forum, that website will be our focus.

Today market may be less volatile,but we will continue where we stopped. Quantum computer stocks are back (for this industry we will expenciate more what is in the future on quantum computing). This week uptrend Continuation is 60% assured.

I AM HAPPY I BELONG TO THIS FORUM
I have a testimony that this forum has renewed my hope in investing. I own some shares in Nigeria stock exchange. However, since I discover this forum, especially in the few months. What I will say is a big thank you to the founder of this forum, and our GO (I am sure will all know as "OAKPEAL", he is a great guy).

My main testimony is that, without adding a penny to my wallet, I now collect dividend on weekly basis, and the end of each month I equally collect dividends, although the amount is not huge , but I am happy,which Nigeria stock can deliver 50% dividend yield? Non and how many Nigeria stock can deliver like 25% gain in a matter of two weeks on re-occurring basis, NON .

I don't like long story. I stop here. Also, those that have tested our Caucus have seen what we are enjoying. We will not blow our Trumpet, Did I say "Trump" et, this relates to my last message about 30 minutes ago. Some stock are going to blow Trump"et" this week and our Caucus member are properly positioned and we will continue to position ourselves for this.

What is happening in the market
Inflation report is coming out today. One of our stocks for today: CCL. But as discussed in the Caucus, wait till after 4.30WAT. Then base on what you see use your charts/system or our trading plan blueprint and buy or wait as appropriate.

Trading or investing in Global stock has made me downgrade the Nigerian market. One of the reason is that with global stocks, without Anny extra money, there are stocks paying dividends to my account every week and this money is available for me to continue investing without need to bring extra cash from my pocket. A case of playing with the "House Money" Or better still I can I call it market money

WHAT CAN WE DO AS WE GO INTO HIGHER FOR LONGER RATES

Effect of this may be bad for Midcaps and the market in general. But no need to panic. I love wha I see in the previous post and it alligns with what we stand on. Biggining traders are better to start with dividend paying stocks. But there is a caveat here. REITS that are involved in Mortgage business may not be all that okay. But, the fact that more people are talking dividend is good.

As we start the market n Monday and we face a week with high impact report on inflation, it is a week of let the "buyers beware". If we have a bearish week, no problem, it is expected.

We will cross the bridge when we get there.

GOOD DAY ALL- WE CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN OUR POSITION IN THE MARKET
Our Caucus members have received list of what to buy today. And leading by example we bought 2 stocks yesterday, member were notified about one late yesterday, just as we were buying.

It is our duty to put money in the pocket of our members. I learnt something from the book we all know about " Rich Dad Poor Dad". Our Target should be to have investments that can give us money in the future, such we do not need to put in any effort again. Very important. THIS MARKET IS INTERESTING
I have realised that the market does not care about anybody. The market have no respect for fundamaentals too much. Sentimental analysis is key.

Today we are happy with our buys, at least our Cuscus members are aware of 3 stocks we have bought today. Tommorow I will drop one stock name in the morning, it seems for that stock technical has catch up with fundamentals (previously stock was falling despite good fundamentals, but now technical has given the go ahead).

HAPPY NEW BULL YEAR TO EVERYBODY
The early morning signal is telling us that we should open the year bullish in the US market and equally for the Nigerian market.

So let us sharpen our cutlass for today as we beging hunting for profits. Today may see many people returning here as I see biotech stocks making a comeback to the bullish side (there is a fallen down chicken pox vaccine stock that is likely to be among the gainers as per our chart pattern.

MY BIGGEST REGRET STILL REMAIN THE FACT THAT I TRIED TO DO IT ON MY OWN AT THE BEGINNING!!!

I believe our members will be wondering why it seem it is so easy to pick money from the market with the stock we are recommending?.

One of the reason is longevity in the market. You can trace my profile back to NSEMPA to see when we have been involved in stocks and the analysis I used to do on MSCI Nigeria as a portfolio Investor in the Nigeria stock market.

If I have joined a Causus like the one we have now, then when this US stock thing stated, I should be highly profitable by now. But no problem, our members are seeing the magic we are performing, the stock I bought early today is already in profit and I bought more to dilute it, now we were sitting on 6% profit just in some hours.

In our Caucus we have finished the business for the day. There was no chance for the dividend stock today. We still have till 2nd of January to see if this free special dividend is worth picking up. COMPLEMENT OF THE SEASON TO ALL- WHAT IS THE MARKET SAYING AT THE MOMENT?

Looking at our charts, there has been pullback in so many stocks. So buying those stocks that have hit support is less risk and that trade is likely to be profitable. In particular we see some good pullback buys in Indutrial/Energy sectors (we must have seen news somewhere that buffet is buying oil stocks again). For oils tocks we see good set up in ET and for semiconductors "HIMX:.

For our Caucus members. We will get a number of stocks we should buy on market opening tommorrow. And for our rogue trader system, there is a stock that will pay us $2 dividend, ex div date is 3rd Jan and price is about $37. I will likely buy maybe some fraction (low dividend does not interest me again these days, as our caucus member know, 30% or more yield is available for us with payment every month). Chaka is my choice of Nigerian broker due to reasonable commission ( average 1% in and another 1% no extra charge nor minmum as in Trove).

Wsing al a profitable 2024. Our target is longevity in the market. Risk managment 1st, profit is secondary.

MARKET NOT BAD TODAY
What the market did today is why we should not panic. Market is recovering from losses. Also, we need an objective system where our attention is not just focus on one stock.

I observed that if I insist on buying a particular stock, my attention is drawn away from other stocks.

Generalmerchant:
Did anyone buy QUBT? Omo that stock rose from 0.69 to 16.79 in less than 2 months. and still going up.
The company landed a major contract with NASA Jumped 33% yesterday, 74% in the last 5 days, 1,494% in the last 3 months and 1,656% increase in the last 6 months. I am scared its late to go in.

TARGET TECHNICAL ANALYSIS UPDATE
I like our topdown (not in total)/sector/industry approach to the market, this gives us a broader and better view of what to buy or sell. Looking at afterhours closing figures I was shocked to see heavy names in the list (chevron, msft, AAPL,VZ etc. This is an indication that big money are buying stocks. So we should see the bullish trend continuation.

Talking about a stock I just bought: MSTR. There are various version of the stock. This is a way of joining the bullish blockhain or Bitcoin stocks. It is like a trade that is a sure banker and for medium timeframe.

THIS PLACE CANNOT BE QUIET WITH ALL THE MONEY LYING ON THE FLOOR

Please we should start taking profits in some industries, flying cars, quantum computing are loosing momentum etc.

These days, I have no keen interest in Materials related stocks (Metals, oil etc). I can see that real opportunities are in tech sector. If you look at price of oil stocks 2 or 3 years ago and today, they have not changed much.

We need to minimise our losses, any stock with a loss of 15 to 25% should be sold. We can recover sooner. Ant loss above 30% may be difficult to recover from.
