Internationally the market is just giving indication that AI is the buzz word and it seems to have taken over every facet of our life (or where it is not been mentioned, something is there that people will now start calling AI in the future, e.g in biotechs, there are the robots that are used in performing operations, theses have always been there, check out 'intuitive surgical stock" but it is not yet being emphasised). So, uptrend will continue due to AI and fortunately too with the the Elon/Trump influence everything AI will likely boom and then drag the market along, we should know, also AI needs power (currently nuclear is the partner here plus anything that will reduce power cost ,SMCI is still a key factor here despite problem with Financial records).

So we need to allign ourself with the language of the market. Our trading ideas is alreadi in the hand of our causcus members. Today we are referencing a chartin plaform which any serious player in the market will know. For me I can ignore all websites, if I just have this platform plus 3 others, I am okay and I will come upwith top stop picks. So if you want to start knowing stocks to buy on your own without waiting for anybody, you will also know when to sell. The are the benefits our caucus members are enjoying!!! Market can spring up surprises. Today we are likely to start the week bullish despite the extreme overbought conditions of some stocks.
Our caucus members will receive message on how we can participate in gains on strong stocks for the long term. We are talking about the AI, Blockchain themes even China. This is a strategy for the risk averse investor to eat their cake and still have it. I hope we can still remember the pending (sorry, it should land in our wallet today) NGN2 on NGN16 stock and this will be monthly, other months can be NGN1, we do not need to worry it is like collecting monthly rent.

Market overbought, risk looks high,now a second Asian Country has brought out stimulus package too like China.

Market may pullback,but blockchain looks strong with energy sector equally attempting to start rising.

We should monitor our stop loss, take some profits and then wait for pullbacks to buy(but most buys will be high risk at this point)

1. Vest.io. Look like the best option as at time of writing
2. Tradezero: good for experienced traders, no fractional share purchase allowed, e.g in vest you can buy 1 dollar with share of TSLA, in tradezero you have to pay for one unit, and in whole unit thereafter. Thus minium TSLA you can buy will be like 110worth (currency of the broker)

Market may be fairly slow today momentum wise and better to switch on our thinking to the medium timeframe. This is necessary in order not to be received by. Strong move in stocks that will have just one day positive performance and then reverse. So he careful with Chinese and Solar stocks.

Our trading plan blueprint did it again. I can see 20% plus from the above. For whoever cares, I sold CMRE below, then moved the money to weekly dividend paying stock today. Unfortunately I bought on ex div for this week, so in eight days time I will start collecting my dividend. Not too bad.

Whoever is not in this forum is missing something. And those in our Caucus should be smiling. I am surprised that people said they are not risk averse, so many seems not to be interested in dividend stock? This like walking on thin rope, if there is miscalculation fall can be fatal (but stop loss is the risk management strategy).Okay no problem. Our dividend paying stock are like our midfielders feeding the forward with crosses (money to invest later).

Today is likely to be a bullish day, if things look slow early in the day, we should just ignore.

Sector wise, sorry if our opinion sounds conflicting from day today, it is because each day is a stand alone and we have no second opinion different from what the chart tells us. So sector wise: tech, blockchain, oil, steel are looking good. But for oil, we take it as strictly an income sector, a stock in oil not paying dividend is not good for our portfolio.

Trading tip for the day: I have seen stocks that were previously strong and with good fundamentals going wrong. So let us take it as a rule written in stone: if my stock loses more than 25% I sell, no ,matter how good that stock was in the past!!! Example, see "GCT" a stock that had positive earning for a long time

Today 6 November 2024 Is A Very Good Day
Our portfolio made the biggest positive move on a single day.

Tommorrow should equally be a green day as FED will give indication of another rate cut. Early in the day we will get a prediction from our normal opinion page.

Temporarily,we will avoid Chinese stocks, as Trump is a problem for the Chinese. But we will see their reactions soon, China has a plan ready for Trump Presidency!!!

I'm a bit confused with timing. We used to be 5 hours ahead of the US stock market, now it's 6 hours (opening time was 2:30pm Nigerian time, now 3:30pm). Please how is this possible?

This is called day time saving. normally we are 5hrs ahead, market open 2.30 close 9pm. Day time saving on November, will normalise around May again. So for Now market open 3.30, close 10pm. You can google day time saving for deeper explanation!!

Now tesla, bitcoin stocks are going to behave like penny stocks for this week. TSLA is doing 12% already and si many more.

But before I go, let us note these points. I am assuming we are just starting, just take the following points as GOSPEL Truth (as taught by me the resident Pastor with permision from my Arc Bishop Oakpeal)

*start simple, open account with NGN16,000 with chaka (I say chaka, no other broker). Your commission is just 1.5% in, 1.5% out. You cannot get a better deal from any Nigeria platform. Also, you are dealing in Naira, account opening will be completed in one day (no story)
*Know whom to follow - the foundation is very important, you follow the wrong person who give yo a wrong principle (you loose your mone)
*Keep your losses small. I am talking practical here. At least I can say I have lost 200 currency of this forum on some trades, so I have learnt a lot of lessons. Let us make it maximum of 20%, and minimum of 8%. Or we can say the lower of 25% or as spirit directs. The spirit will alway direct lower than 25%, I have sold on loss of 3%, when I was that a stock will give me bigger losses later
*Avoid buying extremely overbought stocks. Don't chase anything
*For longevity sake, never start with biotechs, instead start with monthly dividend stock which I am ready to recommend for you
*have your indicators that will tell you the time to buy (get in) and the time to get out (sell), without the need to wait for anybody (this area trading plan blueprint can help)
*have patience, today 20% gain on $2 on PHUN looks small, but that is 20% in one day, which bank pays you that?

Early morning future prices are pointing to a Trump victory. Although, final result is not o it yet, as usual the Senate is already in the pocket of re publicans.

So today will likely be an extremely bullish day
Commodities are down (probably due to the likelihood of a fairly negative effect on China in case Trump finally wins,the* election.

OLD FISH ADVISE TO THE YOUNG
Always eat at the bottom as the fisherman's net is always at the top? What this is telling us is that we should avoid the pump and dump stocks. I am always feeling bad when I see stocks that were Stars before now marked with liquidated sign, example VBIV. Seeing this makes me more brutal with taking profits and I am happy with our current screener that eliminates these type of stocks that are likely to enter liquidation.

So, if you are not a full time trader and cannot pay for a subscription based trading platform, better avoid penny stocks, no matter what you made in one day a day will come when you will loose more than 50% of your money and may not be able to trade again (this is one of the reason, you do not see many people here always, especially when the market is slowing down, like we will see on blockchain stocks on the next 2or 3 days)

Investing in dividend stocks that one can hold for long terms looks interesting. I do not need to worry much about keeping my accounts active. Dividends provides the cashflows.

In the medium timeframe mining sector is looking good and China is likely to perform this time around. Caucus members will see list of performing industries from our current website of reference.
I pity those that are late to this forum, just like the way people missed opening account with foreign brokers when you could have done so with NGN15,000 so are people going to see some stocks at extreme high prices latter (this may not be applicable to penny stocks).

For those asking how to fund Tradezero account, please talk to your bankers or email tradezero. By the way, for those who want to start trading with tradezero, how did you arrive at that company as the brokers for you? There is an issue with the broker which may not favor those with small accounts , so double check before sending your money to tradezero (it is a good broker have everything, gives you cheap loan to trade, allow shorting etc, but if you are not fairly big financially we wish you good luck with the broker)

HOW TO GROW YOUR ACCOUNT WHEN YOUR BROKER CHARGES UP TO 1% COMMISSION PER TRADE PART 1- To Be Continued latter
For Nigeria based platforms, the phone best commission rate you can get is 1% and this is from Chaka, other Nigeria platform charges higher. But this should not be a deterrent if we want to start investing in the US stock market. One thing I love about Chaka is that you can buy stock even if you have 0.20 dollar in your account, buy you need $10 initial deposit.
1) start with dividend paying stocks, as a newbie you may not last in the market of you start with penny stocks. If you buy QDTE on coming Monday, by Friday you will start receiving dividend and this dividend will be paid every week. This is an easy way of compounding your account

2) Since commission for in and out trade will be about 3%, you need to take high probability trade that will give you at least 4% gain minimum. For now you can look at Chinese/Uranium stocks. I will mention one NXE (still have room to go, you should give room for gyration of about 30%),

Having a broker with zero commission makes trading fun. I can do with small gains.

With our Nigerian platforms, the commissions are high (but they are justified due to the operating environment and probably fewer Customer base), imaging the likes of Tradezero that can attract Customers in Brazil, India etc. I am sure the likes of Chaka, Trove will find it difficult to attract Customers that are not of Nigeria origin!!!

Today is another good day in the market.

If you are good in fundamentals and do not know technicals, you may not do well in this market. Why, you are in competition with others that are mostly using technical analysis or a mix of both technical analysis and fundamentals. The solution is that by fire by force yoo need technical analysis.

International market is fairly stable, both commodities and stocks are still bullish medium timeframe. But note that there can be volatility as Consumer sales data will be released/employment related data.

This is the place to be to make money (but it is gradual), The nuclear industry sector is among the best place to be in the medium timeframe. Also, it seems AI noise is back again. On nuclear stock to buy, it look like any of them should be okay, but in our caucus we mentioned one, which was chosen on the basis of our technical indicator (it has lower risk compared with others), at lease that is what our chart says.
