Cup and handle patter formnng on the weekly chart of the AllShare index is good reason for optimism. If the pattern do not fail, we may see the market moving higher.

The above has countered some of the stocks which are moving up with high speed.

The market is blniw entering a zone where our normal technical analysis has to take over, at lease we know the key ares if earning surprises, but we may not act on them until the stocks get to our normal buy zone.

Power is changing hand from Gold back to the dollar (at least that is what today is telling us). The effect of this is that we should have a bullish day today.

Below, we can see that any currency paired against the dollar is falling

So let us trade for longevity today (something like drink responsibly, you know penny stocks can intoxicate, but after some six months and above, that penny stock account may become empty, just like when a drunkard becomes sober.

MARKET UPDATE FROM TARGET TECHNICAL ANALYSIS CAUCUS/OBSERVATION ON VEST ACCEPTANCE OF NAIRA
Information available to us from the market is telling us that the bulls are likely to resume back in the market tommorrow, so today the bears are about to pack out!!! Tommorrow will confirm, using market probability there is 60% chance for this to be true?

Then on Vest, I believe there is money with the masses in this Country and if we know how to attract people's attention, we may get so much money from the general populace. Did CBEX collected money from only the rich?

So likewise, we can say there is money here, in this forum. Vest is for US as Nigerians and as members of this forum. What I like about Vest is the fact that if there is a stock quoted on any US exchange today, the platform will have it available for us, unlike Chaka that you will tell that there is a stock called BWLP and the staff will tell you that their "master" do not have the stock and therefore they cannot not make it available. And who is this their master "Drive wealth" same master for Trove, Vest and maybe some others. By the way Drive wealth is the majority stockbroker for a number of platforms and the founder is a board member of the New York Stock Exchange or Chicago stock exchange (you can confirm from Google l/chart GPT).

So we should not panic, let manage our various positions properly, if what you have bought lost 20%, from your purchase price sell and if you do not want to sell, give it up to 25% and if it passes 25% better to let go so that your fund will not embark on a journey of no return. It is really apparent that Trump Tariff is not anybody's friend, the big money men are complaining, so Trump has so much pressure to agree a deal with China. The week will start on a Cautionary note, but if Trump makes the Chinese negotiated tariff announcement, market response will likely be positive. On area of concentration: Technology, blockchain still carry the day. But we need to start buying normal dividend paying stocks in case there is recession (this should not be a big deal yet, this is why we need stock like VZ, _ _ _ and some dividend paying ETFs in our portfolio).

For outstanding performances in the medium timeframe we should keep these stocks on our watchlist : NB, _ _ _ _, _ _ _ , MTNN, ___ __, etc one of the stocks here should hit an homerun all things being equal, we will continue to update.

There is still caveat in the market. Go only with the strong stocks, as the economy may still! continue in this wobbly style as oil will not go back to the $72 area for a long time, OPEC just approved increase in production quota, effect of which is to make oil cheaper to attract demand.

For the past week consumer index still led, followed by the meristem Growth index.

Now moving to the new week, _ _ _, MTNN are among our stocks for the day that we will like to start with on Monday.

WE NEED TO BE DOING STRESS TEST FOR OUR TRADING PLATFORMS!!!
It is possible we do not do constantly withdrawals on our account as we are faced with the main task of growing our portfolio.

Today I am a little surprised that after withdrawing from our wallet (the wallet is already showing you can withdraw). Then, I observed that after 30 minutes I did not see any alert, this is where CHAKA is different, once you press withdraw, under one minute you will receive the alert in your bank account it has not failed.

I email the platform to say I did not see my money, only for me to be told withdraws take 2 to 3 working days. Okay no problem I will wait.. This is telling us that some platforms may be stronger financially than the other or is it their system? Even Vest that is overseas will take the same number of 2 to 3 days to pay your withdrawal, that I can understand. But if we are in the same location, taking 2 to 3 days to get my money after I have waited one day for the money to move to withdraw state in my wallet is not good enough.

So let us take note. I will not mention the name of the platform for now,but if they mess up, then we will all know their name. We are here to protect our local platforms, we will not spoil their business, we know the challenges they are facing, this is why I will not complain that they are charging commission; how will they survive without charging commission!!! We wish all the plaforms well.

At the Caucus. we do not sweat in our trades. For the likely results for June we have started the compilations, so we know where to focus on. We do Technical Analysis with strong fundamental undertone.

MARKET UPDATE FOR OPEN OF 2 MAY

Today we will see a likely green day especially if Trump did not say anything contrary (I trust Trump will not allow the opportunity to go, he is becoming a pone ranger in the Tariff fight, his closes ally are keeping a distance due mainly to Tariff issue).

We should not rush and buy Gold related stocks this morning, let us see what Gold Trend will show after 3pm Nigeria time as today is Non Farm Payroll day, Gold signal on this day can move the Gold market considerably and if you are caught on the wrong side, you may have to hold that stock for a longer time than initially planned.

For our Caucus members, we should just continue with our current picks nothing new is happening in the market, just blockchain, China, Technology, Consumer discretionary.

Gains in the market is measured in percentages, not the number of shares you have (the delution that if I buy 2 stocks for $2O, is better than 0.1 of TESLA s no true, if Tesla gain 5%,, My Tesla holding will be worth $21, your stock gains 10% too, your total holding equally becomes $21, but in TSLA, my risk is lesser that the unknown stock going for $10

TRADING PLAN BLUEPRINT- EXTRACT OF NUGGETS PLUS STOCK TO BUY
Under entry criteria in the blueprint, as a Nigeria traders, one of the best time you can place your trade is between 6pm to 8 45pm WAT.

Today, I place a trade, bought GDXU.

My intention is to exit anytime from Tommorrow, I am using 20% of my entry price as stop loss. This stop is not big at it is risking just under 1% of my total portfolio. This %loss use to confuse me before, the loss is to be calculated using the 20% of what you are risking in that particular trade as a percentage of the global value of your portfolio, sometime this amount can be really small that losing the 20% makes no dent on our portfolio

Getting this Blueprint before we start trading will be the best. We should know too that there are websites you can get ideas of stocks to buy, then you assess the figures with your trading system (combinations of indicators and rules for entry exit) and know which are the best).

Next review from the trading manual, we will look at a trading system. This is the main benefit of the book. The trading system is one of the best you can ever yet. I have looked at about 500 trading systems, non can beat the trading plan blueprint system. It contained some systems available in "Amibroker Trading system" plus some others, so powerful!!!

Trading 212 payment may make it difficult for Nigerian as you have to pay in USD and now I think Trading 212 now charge commission. Why not try vest. No commission accept Naira

Today is looking like a neutral day. Market has been put in a partial state of uncertainty by Trump Tariff. The only person that can fully unchain the market is Trump ( so the whole is telling Trump, we are waiting for you to unchain the market).

MARKET UPDATE 29 April- NIGERIA MARKET UPDATE WITH SOME GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE
From global perspective, it is going to be an uphill task for oil to return back to the $75 dollar range and with Trump Tariff likely to reset prices of many items (the global economy may face some headwind). But let us make it a case of we will cross the bridge when we get there, so we should not worry.

Let us enjoy the current bullish run. In the Caucus, we are taking a very brutal approach, focus only on best few stocks in the market. Our major pick this morning is a stock that is likely to find it easy to cost without much sweat and sorry we do not want to buy at high, so if market pulls back today it is game for us

Looking at the indices performance, Consumer goods still led, followed by Meristem Growth and banking. Somehow, I like the content of the meristem growth stocks at the moment, a lot of the stocks currently making gains are there.

BEING MEMBERSHIP OF OUR CAUCUS IS GOOD
The Caucus idea is really not meant for everybody!!! Why? We want to retail our systems with very few people since, it is the same system we are using in trading our own account.

Recently bothe the Nigeria and Global market has become like each environment to make profit? But, it is not so, our system is what is contributing to our making profit, although intending market is a facilitator. I will say out system is contributing too as there was a time I just said to myself, maybe trading plan Blueprint is not the factor responsible for our profit, I picked random stocks that I want to buy!!!! I was not surprised when I could not touch the random stocks even with a long pole as they were below the standard of the scanns that is produced by TRADING PLAN BLUEPRINT.

On a final note, let whoever is close to Chaka tell them that they should be adding more stocks to their platforms, the fact the many of us are not having big big money in our wallet does not mean on aggregate they cannot generate substantial transactions from us. I believe CBEX experience should tell our service providers that there is money in Nigeria (actually I just over the weekend asked some Market women about CBEX to my surprise they say yes, some of them even invested, but the person mentioned that she investment NGN240K (which true amounted to about $150 as at the time of investment), and she collected 450k, but for feat she took back her 300k and put back 150k, CBEX collapse with her 150k, but was happy to have retained 300k from the 450k. Import of this story is that there is money with Nigerians if a platform can get the right product. So [b]Chaka and co (TROVE, BAMBOO etc please give u[/b]s more stocks and more investment products if possible or we move gradually to better caring platforms that values our money). Doing research with our time, effort and money then coming up with buying ideas but not seeing the ticker on the platform can be frustrating (the commission side we understand, Nigeria is an unfriendly environment for NEPA/Internet to run your business), then asking for the ticker, but the ticker not being availability after so many mails is not good enough.

MARKET UPDATE 28 April- NIGERIA MARKET UPDATE WITH SOME GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE
Oil is stabilising so we believe the market should still be in uptrend. On the earnings some are really good and we should see one of the expected good ones in the finance sector and MTNN expected turn around result should be out any moment from now.

Our forecast list has be updated with the likes of WEMA bank among others (this is where we knew TRANSCORP, any likely OANDO will have poor result for March) and is for our Caucus members

For last week, the Consumer index was top and Insurance coming second.

WEEKEND MARKET COMMENT
On the surface it looks like the Tariff matter is being sorted out. However, it seems the anticipated effect of the tariff is higher prices and there is real fear in so many industries.

For the week just ended, technology sector is still at the top.

The effect of the first paragraph is that we have to be prepared for some shacking in the nearest future. So this is a time to start building our defence line. We can see the price effect on steel stocks, the manufacturers are lamenting that production input are now higher. Even some retailers like Walmart have joined the complainers group. Trump has no option, but to give more concessions.

Wishing all happy weekend. For those who have suffered losses I believe we have learnt our lessons. We have no option but to come back. There are few markets tat can give the return we get from the US market l, but it is just riskier for the Nigerian market and may not be a good ground for buy and hold investors. You have to learn when to buy and also be prepared to sell, even good stocks like TESLA, AMZN etc. And finally you need a trading system like Trading Plan Blueprint

TODAY NOT A BAD DAY IN THE MARKET
Today is not a bad day in the Global market.

People may find the Global stock a little bit challenging, compared with Nigeria market. Part of the reason is that Nigeria market has about 50 active stocks on the average. So I can always manually go through the chart for each one on daily basis.

But Global market has over 11,000 tickets, how do we know the one to buy. How, can we scan through the universe of stocks everyday to know what to buy. And unfortunately you are trading against professionals (do you know that many traders employed by the big funds/banks to trade biotech stocks are Doctors with biotechnology/science degrees and you think you can beat them easily on your own investing in biotech stocks, okay I wish you good luck.

We need to fortify ourselves with good knowledge, most of which are not free to survive here. And some of the guidance/resources we need like membership of the Caucus are cheap compared with other subscription services.

I wish I can always post free stock picks for everyone, but it is not possible. Knowing what to buy involves a lot of. hard work. People who have had the opportunity to be part of the Caucus can attest to the various places that we get our research materials from but yet we have to put the ideas in our Trading Plan Blueprint to come up with the final selection.

MARKET UPDATE 25 April- NIGERIA MARKET UPDATE WITH SOME GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE
Bullish trend to continue as China US feud subsides. This good news is making oil to be more stable.

In terms of expected results, we should see a lot of good performance and we are picking some ideas from our Caucus message.

Chams performance has not been stable. Likely to have lost a major client, but recovered a little by the 4th QTR so we should not expect big change in previous year.

Transcorp March result will be lower than 2024 figure all things being equal.

Market this morning is indicating the likelihood of a pullback today and due to our experience in the market, for the 1st time, I fell comfortable and agreed that a pullback is necessary.

Yes, the pullback will enable us to do away with some of our risky positions that are in profit and then move the proceed to stronger stocks (sounds like a no brainer)
