Good morning and compliments of the season.

We're moving to the UK by January ending and I need advise on which best commuters town we can stay. Wifey's school is Westminster university and we've been advised to commute to save cost.

Please, I'm looking at somewhere not so expensive (rent and general living cost), not too far from London and easy to commute. Thanks again.

Nope. Appointment seems to be mandatory for a walk-in irrespective of the date. And I am referring to Ikeja TLS centre. VI and Abuja I have no idea. I also believe anything is possible. You can keep trying to book appointment for her before 30th and if unsuccessful, try go with her to explain the difficulties of getting a date. Maybe they can help with that from within.

Does this apply to a situation whereby the 2 dependants (hubby and an infant) has appointment for Dec 30th at Abuja TLS but the main applicant doesn't have a date yet. Can we all enter together and pay for walk-in for her? Since someone has to carry the baby, I am thinking she should go in with the baby and tell them she wanna walk in.

Family goes in together as far as I know. My wife's date is 29th of December while I got 13th and we both went in on the 13th. I paid 42k for her walk-in. Just inform the officer that you guys are family. That is all.

Wifey is going to Westminster university. Her academic reference was one of her lecturer who's now the hod and it wasn't on the school letter headed paper. The lecturer has his own personal letter headed paper which he normally use, but it is stated in the heading that he's the current hod of the department and many other degrees and honours he has acquired. I see on the letter head he did his PHd in the UK so we feel just proceeded with it.

I don't believe this.. I did mine at abuja even though I am based in Lagos and it was so stress free, very organized and no crowd or people loitering outside... There's no way abuja will be as hard as Lagos. Pls ask questions

Spoke with someone who has been struggling to get a date at Abuja. He said the latest date he saw was 10th and there's no date to click at all. He said he really wish he can change it back to Lagos. Once I click on Abuja, I can't change it couple with the costs and all.
What about vi TLS? Is it the same as Ikeja? Can I opt for that?

Book any date you see for them. Go with them on the 4th January that is your date. You will all be attended to at your appointment time as a family. Then you pay the walk in fee for them

Please I need to make decisions right now as time no dey again. Best date I've gotten for Lagos TLS is 9th Jan and 4th Jan for Abuja TLS.

Utmost deadline for enrollment for wife's program is feb4 with Westminster university. Considering it's a standard application and I don't wanna loose a day. What do you advise I do here?

I am confused. UOW has firmly confirmed payment and we've heard nothing from them. Today makes it the 4th day. We are expecting a mail instructing us to request for CAS, but we've not seen anything. We also see something like doing visa check tasks before requesting for cas. How do we go about this? Help pls as time no dey again..

Abeg, does anyone have an idea on how to do this visa check task with university of Westminster. I can't fine the tab to do that on the student portal.

thank you for your response bros, they finally debited my account today. although i was also at the branch first thing this morning, i meet the business manager that explained that the branch process the highest volume form A in our city. he check and told me i may get debit today or Monday,, and i did around 5pm.

Hmmm, today makes it 7 working days i summited form A at UBA. i am still waiting for a debit alert, i even went to the bank yesterday, with no useful information, all i was told is that the transaction is still pending.

I submitted mine 17th of Nov and I didn't get anything from them. I visited on Monday 22nd and the guy who attended to me said he'll check and push it asap. Luckily, I got debited the same day around past 9pm and the rate was 562naira. Telex was issued 2days after. Wifey is the main applicant and the school is Westminster university. They confirmed the money after 48hrs, that's almost after we sent them the telex copy. You can reach out to the guy that helped you...time no dey..

Please I'd like to confirm some things...
Wifey got offer from Westminster university and the advance tuition has been paid for, though UBA hasn't debited the account. Myself and our 1 year old baby will be going as dependants.
The challenge is, POF will mature this time next month and uow cas request deadline is 17th of December and I learnt they usually request for 28days POF before issuing CAS.
What do you guys suggest we do in this situation?

Please I need help. I've been extorted and rubbed off my money due to lack of time and my inexperience about cars.

So, I got this corrola 03 toks and it was superb for the first few weeks, but now, it's all bleeped up. I have changed both front and back absorber in the space of 3 weeks. There's this crazy disturbing sound from both front legs, and I was advised to change absorber, linkages and buchin rubber all all.

It was fine after the fixing only for another sound from the owner's side at the back to surface. The sound is like (hohohohobohoho) while on motion and it's really disturbing. I took it to the mechanic shop and they advised I change the back absorber, I did and the sound didn't stop.

I took it back there and we discovered that the exhaust isn't well laid, hence shaking and creating the sound. They worked on it and sound reduced but still coming up. After then, there's crazy sound from the breakpad and I decided to change it, that's when the problem started. Since then, I realized my brake has been malfunctioning. On motion, it just go down and later stabilize, it's been like that since then. I also notice the handbrake is now very strong than before. I

On the driver's side at the back, there's this hohohohohoho sound in the leg, like the tire is rolling round that thing that is making the sound. I'm really frustrated and tired. Most times, I just give it to them to do and then return it back for me in the office, so I don't monitor what they do. I really wanna fix this whole thing and enjoy my car.
