Native Administration was the instrument of authority adopted by Colonial Government to govern the regions of Nigeria.

In Western Nigeria Oba is the head of a Native Authority in his direct domain. Its laws were effected through Native and Custom laws.

There was something called Native Court System. This administrative arm was established by Ordinance No 44 of 1933 under Colonial Govt to give Native law jurisdictional power.

The power of the Court extended over civil and criminal cases. Since it needed to enforce law, it needed a policing unit. The unit was called Native Authority Police Force.

Ake, Owu, Gbagura, Oke Ona, Abeokuta...these were towns, in 1939, under the Native Authority of Alake of Egbaland.

The period in contention is 1940.

Would an Iboman, Onyejekwe be recruited by Abeokuta Native Authority which was presided by Alake, to police Egba and Owuland?

This question is the first troubleshooter on the claim that Obasanjo was fathered in 1940 by an Igbo police officer posted to Owuland.

The ideology of Boko harm is that they want their brand of Islam enthroned on everybody, by force. The Taliban did the same in Afghanistan. The Taliban overran Afghanistan, seized government and enthroned their brand of Islamic fundamentalism on the rest of the country.

IPOB on the other hand has no interest in taking over any government nor enthroning any religious order on anybody. What IPOB wants is that a referendum be conducted a certain area called the SE/SS to determine if the ethnic nationalities in that area want to continue with Nigeria or get independence as Biafra

The difference between both ideologies is while Boko Haram are trying to enforce their ideology by force of arms, IPOB is trying to get their referendum without force of arms

Honestly it's just unfortunate. Sometimes I wonder if our governors don't learn anything when they travel out of Africa because, I wonder how a reasonable leader will travel to cities in US, UK, Germany etc and see how things are done and then return to Nigeria to build the usual mediocre 1970 structures in this era. Even if we can't replicate the world class structures in developed countries at least we can start with something that looks decent and modern like this Obi Jackson's Children Hospital but no, we must continue to build our usual nonsense structures.
I want you to just take your time and access some state owned and run schools in the east and see what I'm talking about. I saw pictures of some of the so-called new government schools built in Abia and I was I disappointed. The new schools are just the usual bungalows with metal windows, the only new thing there was that they used aluminium roofs instead of the outdated zinc roofs, outside that nothing else is new. No landscaping, the environment was filled with clay and overgrown grass lol.
