So why do these same Nigerians bore more children?

Why are southwesterners interested in relocating to get a job even when there are more jobs in structured organisations in the region than anywhere else in the country?

Ondo is supposed to be an oil producing state. It's so shameful that the people are complaining about lack of development in every sphere of life. Even salaries and pension payments have issues in some cases.

Ondo is the highest or supposedly the highest cocoa producing state in the country. When cocoa prices soared, I expected massive real developments throughout the state.

If only other Nairalanders knew the propaganda the likes of Gbawe and Eko lle brandished in the name of good governance in the southwest, one would think the region is highly developed.

I knew what I saw in Ogun state - one of the two states I've been to with the most horrible roads. Gbawe, in particular, propagated how Osun was highly developed with strong finances and good roads in the name of O'beef (beef factory by Rauf Aregbesola). When Rauf left office, Osun was riddled with debts it could never pay off and civil servants were owed salaries until the dancing governor came through for them.

So much propaganda for a place that's horrendously under-developed.

The relationship between Igbos and indigenous people of Plateau is pretty strong and good. A recent one-time Vice Chancellor of Unijos was an Igbo man.

I think it's our men who insist on having more children, especially male children. Today's ladies don't want to further "damage" their bodies. So they aim at having few children.

Lastly, for men who want to avoid more children including from their side chics, vasectomy remains the best option.
