Crime › Re: Plateau Government Arrests Pregnant Woman For Trafficking Three Girls To Ghana by YoshihideSuga: 3:10am On Feb 24 |
Wadoboy: The numbers of Nigerian girls doing Oloshoism in Ghana is alarming most especially Benue, Plateau, Delta, Edo, Rivers and the whole of Eastern States girls.
The is scary, till today............more girls are still being trafficked to GH I don't understand why there would be a high number of Nigerian girls there. Are the earnings per round so high in Ghana? Do Ghanaian men pay so much for sex? Abi na Nigerian yahoo yahoo boys be the major patrons? So literally all of Eastern Nigeria and some parts of Christian areas of Northern Nigeria. What about Adamawa, Gombe and Taraba girls? Yoruba girls no dey do runs for Ghana ni? |

franchasofficia: Obi Cubana and Cubana Chief Priest are not illiterates, they graduated from the university before venturing into businesses.
I don't know much about Zenco.
Quit seeing successful Igbo businessmen as illiterates, that is very poor and obnoxious assumption.
I am an Igbo business man, a small company owner with sizeable investments in some states and I am a graduate, a masters degree holder and a PhD in view student that also tried to study law but if you see me in real life, you will think I didn't even finish Primary school because I don't form educated in public.
When I was fully in Lagos, most of my Church members who are mostly Yorubas always thought I didn't go to school but funny enough, I am more educated than even our Zonal Pastor and others on a low key but because I am Igbo and not working with government or working in a Bank or for one company, they always assume that maybe I didn't go to school.
And same applies to several Igbo business owners you see in the markets; most are graduates, that was why Nigerian media and Yoruba controlled government of today were shocked that a screw driver seller in Onitsha Main Market influenced US government to classify Nigeria as a country of particular concern, they will be shocked to discover that that screw driver seller is a PhD holder, thats how we Igbos of our time roll.
Now back to the topic, Tinubu is wasting his time buying up rich Igbo people to promote him in Southeast. Igbos are very Republican in nature, we believe and follow our individual conviction as individuals and therefore we judge candidates based on their performance and how good and humane they are to the people. All that Tinubu needed to win Igbos without any celebrity or political figure is to be kind, be humane, stop being tribalistic and divisive with his policies and stop pushing Lagos state government to continue to churn out anti-Igbo policies in a desperate effort to clamp down on Igbos and reduce their influence in Lagos. Exactly! I support most Tinubu's economic policies, but I cannot fully support him since he's the leader of the party, especially in Lagos, that promotes anti-Igbo rhetoric. Whenever I watch Igbo elites hobnobbing with Lagos elites, I wonder if they don't voice out concerns regarding the Lagos APC anti-Igbo rhetoric. |

goslowgoslow: Is is right for trump to take over another man's country? You are not concerned about that na the threat be your problem but trump can threaten people with war. What did EU nations say when they were at the forefront of removing Gaddafi? Or is it because it's Trump, not Obama? These people are one and the same. |

Focusmind: And he is not happy that the Olympics is going to California. He has threatened to move World Cup matches out from the Democrats States to the Republican States. Lots of fans from many countries, especially, developing countries, would be denied visas in this coming World Cup That's the reason the ban exists - no hope of being issued visas. As long as Trump remains, no visa whatsoever. |
Sports › Re: German FA Official Calls For 2026 World Cup Boycott Over Trump's Actions by YoshihideSuga: 9:35am On Jan 26 |
Onegai: I don't think it was under his Presidency the deal was signed. America has been trying to get into the Soccer money for years, as they couldn't export Basketball and American Football.
Their FA must be secretly pissed that they bribed FIFA to host only for this guy to make sure people would not watch games in person and countries would threaten to boycott.
More people are choosing to go for Olympics because most of it would be held in California The visa ban will remain until Trump leaves office. It has nothing to do with which city hosts the sporting events, but the very fact those events will be held on US territory. |

Onegai: Most of the big schools in Lagos closed early yesterday because of this.
While it may be a hoax, Nigeria is so unsafe that the possibility of a bomb threat is real. Parents who sent their kids to boarding schools outside Lagos are now worried, especially when the area the school is, they don't have anyone close by to grab the kid should any security alert happen.
Gone are the days when Unity Schools will send you to an area far from your location, in order to encourage you to learn about other Nigerian tribes. So, how do parents of children in Hillcrest, Jos and Loyola Jesuit College, Abuja cope? |

Lexicon123: You’re very correct - nothing attractive about this life of criminality.
On the other hand though, it tells some other stories - abject poverty, hunger and illiteracy, and these are the parts the governments usually can play very big roles. I lived in Asian countries like Malaysia, which is one of the safest countries in world. This safety record is highly attributed to very affordable and available food, public transportation and healthcare systems. These work like magic. What would Singapore be said to be if Malaysia is acclaimed to be one of the safest places globally? |

Zee y3mi: There will always be federal agents who overstep or discharge their duties with excessive zeal. That reality, however, does not automatically mean the Trump administration’s broader immigration posture is misguided or malicious.
Personally, I support what Trump is trying to do. I’ve watched multiple documented clips showing both legal and illegal migrants from parts of Africa in the U.S. running illicit operations, exploiting loopholes in the system to the tune of millions of dollars. What makes it worse is that many of these same individuals openly despise the West and curse America, yet benefit massively from the very system they condemn.
The unfortunate part is that the fallout from such abuses doesn’t just affect offenders, it spills over onto countless innocent people who genuinely hope to visit the U.S. one day with honest intentions. Blanket suspicion and stricter controls are often the downstream consequence of unchecked exploitation.
I’m also a strong believer that people fleeing their countries should channel more energy into fixing what is broken at home. No system, including America’s, has infinite capacity. There is always a threshold to what any country can absorb.
That said, I’ve seen claims that this current restriction or “pausity” mainly affects immigration visas, not tourist or student visas. If that distinction is accurate, it’s an important clarification. Can someone here confirm or expand on that?
Thanks. Yes, but it doesn't apply to all countries. Barbados which is on this new list isn't barred from student and tourist visas. But Nigeria is entirely banned for all kinds of visas. |

Onegai: Publishers and Schools are gonna be madddddd😭😅🤬😡
Some top 1% schools already run Textbook Reuse system: they buy textbooks and then borrow them to the students for each term. You can't write in it and if you lose it or tear it, you must replace it.
It works for textbooks where one book for a single subject is N15,000 or N20,000 (I had to buy some and that's how much it cost for a Primary school book). Sorry for being pedantic, but it's lend not borrow. |

confluence: If you are around kogi few years ago when yahaya Bello was in power, he encouraged and brought trailer loads of Fulani people to different parts of kogi most especially around the Okun axis, especially iyara area. He did all these nonsense to Curry favor from the disaster call Buhari, from there this Fulani migrated quickly to most other parts of Okun land and they disappear into the bush and forest of Okun land. Most of the Okun traitors who supported that evil regime can't even go home because all the roads leading to most Okun land is infested with this bastards. Do you know that about 38 or 39 people that were kidnapped in aiyetoro kiri, those that were released recently are those the kidnappers felt they are frail in health and might die very soon because of the stress they have subjected them to, and that is exactly what happened imagine kidnapping an 80 years plus grandma, these sets of people who were released, I learn about #15m was paid, Yahaya Bello is no longer in power and see the aftermath of the disaster But Yahaya Bello still dominates the power structure in the state and is even planning to contest for the senatorial seat. What are other Kogi elites especially from the affected areas doing about it? |
