Your first question, before you consider importing used or brand new laptops into Nigeria, make sure you have a sure reliable selling point. You can start with selling in bits to those in the gadget markets in Nigeria (computer village, Alaba intl market, Onitsha, etc). Once you have perfected the supply chain and have secured a reliable selling points, then you can advance to full containerized import. That start with container load, it's not advisable to do.

Your number two question, no one human can know everything, honestly, I don't know much about what one can export outside Nigeria to sell aside few edible Nigerian food stuffs.

To your last question, anything related to power, fashion, gadgets are good for Nigerian market but you must make sure they come in at a very competitive price, if not, selling becomes a problem
Okay. Thank you for the entire breakdown.
TravelRe: Is Moving From Lagos To A Cheaper City Worth It? Some Nigerians Respond by YoshihideSuga: 4:29am On May 13, 2025

I agree with you. That market that Lagos has, other commercial cities like onitsha, Kano and aba has it.

What gives lagos an edge in seaport. People talk about PH seaport. They are limits and type of goods that you can import from PH seaport. But Lagos seaport. You can import everything.

All seaport in Nigeria are not equal due to FG policy.
What about exports?

Tinubu has made life so miserable for many Nigerians, forget the pretence, most Nigerians are just struggling to survive under Tinubu's failing regime angry
But bros, many expensive weddings are held in Lagos and Anambra. Many chics are building houses. People are buying and selling lands. Parties are ongoing throughout the country. Cocoa farmers are making money. Spare parts traders dey smile to the bank.

If you are a young person still thinking and confused on which profession or path to follow in life to stand a chance of securing a better financial future for yourself, then check the list below:

1.) POLITICS

2.) POLITICAL PRAISESINGING

3.) POLITICAL ACTIVISM

4.) PASTOR (IF YOU CAN NURTURE YOUR OWN CHURCH BETTER)

5.) CONTENT MAKING ONLINE (FACEBOOK, X, YOUTUBE, TIKTOK, INSTAGRAM, ETC)

6.) IMPORTATION (LARGE SCALE VIA CONTAINERS)

7.) TRADING (YOU MUST FIND YOUR WAY TO ANY MARKET)

8.) COMPUTER PROGRAMMING & CODING

9.) CIVIL ENGINEERING & BUILDING

10.) PROFESSIONAL ESCORT
Thanks for the update.

For 6) How do beginners get to ensure this happens? If I might ask, for refurbished laptops and relatively expensive ones, do you have an idea of how much it would cost to get a half 20ft container of such products?

Still on 6), you didn't mention exporting as that's where the present government encourages and focuses on compared to imports due to the high levies and naira devaluation. As it's, foreigners (Chinese and Indians) and Ndi Yorubas are making a lot of money with exports.

7) What goods do you believe sell rapidly in today's Nigeria, especially if proper marketing is applied?

Thank you.

But if you have the plan to Japa, then consider the below courses:

1.) Nursing

2.) Medicine

3.) Mechanical Engineering with a focus on:
(I) Diesel engine repair
(ii) Plumbing
(iii) HVAC
(iv) Carpentry

4.) Computer programming & coding

5) Fashion Designing/Tailor

6.) Radiography

7.) Supply Chain Management with experience
Someone might see such and think about generator repairs as I've seen on Nairaland. However, how does that work in countries with 24/7 electricity? One might mention repairing agricultural machinery equipment etc, but those businesses are usually in the hinterlands and rarely offer visa sponsorship. The best is to learn mechanic repair especially for luxury/exotic cars.

The major issue is that the persons with this knowledge cannot afford to japa. Dem no get the money to apply for visa and the knowledge to go through visa applications and requirements. Unfortunately, Nigerians aren't qualified to apply for certain visa classes unlike South Africans to the UK or Jamaicans to the US.
CareerRe: Gunmen Set Six Vehicles Ablaze In Imo, Kidnap Passengers by YoshihideSuga: 4:53pm On May 10, 2025
IGBOPROMISE1:
I warned Ndigbo a few weeks ago that as another cycle of presidential election approaches and owing to the ongoing Mazi Kanu senseless ‘treason’ trial, that we should expect a renewed campaign of calumny involving fake news and actual false-flag operations to be mounted against the south-east region, more so if the evil hegemonic deep state sees Peter Obi as a strong contender for the 2027 election!
So, for how long would it continue? What are Igbo elites, both public and private, doing about it?

Genevieve has been 46 years all this while, a lady I watched as a teenager. I wonder what they think when they confidently tell these liess? Maybe they just decided to take this risk of lying such lie due their own foolishness.
Or maybe she was very young when she began her thespian career? Didn't Omotola marry as a teenager abi in her early twenties?
RomanceRe: What Is The Right Age To Get Married? by YoshihideSuga: 4:00am On May 02, 2025
franchasng:
I don't support any man or woman marrying now to give birth to more than two kids irrespective of their financial status.

If you are too rich, give birth to two and adopt available kids instead of birthing more
But remember you said Nigerians especially Nigerian women don't like children who aren't biologically theirs. And please what's the difference between adopting two children and having two children biologically?
