Northern Nigeria has a high divorce rate because Islam permits easy divorce and re-marriage. Northern Christians will be different, at least when compared to our women.

This is the reason I forewarn single guys today, don't listen to all those relationship experts and Pastors telling you to just go ahead and marry even if you are earning NGN100K per month, please for the sake of your sanity don't dare it.


Nigerian women only contribute to family expenses when they and their husband live abroad where they know there is law and implication, and they do it with anger in their hearts and that is why most Nigerian wives abroad misbehave and don't usually submit to their husbands completely, it is because the western culture pushed them into contributing to family expenses that they never do back home in Nigeria.


So as a Nigerian guy living in Nigeria, before you think of getting married under this Bola Tinubu's destroyed economy, please make sure you are earning a minimum of NGN400,000 monthly and you have achieved some level of success before thinking marriage and you also have some other backup sources of income aside your job.


1.) Have one or two landed properties in one or two Nigerian main cities or the city where you live.


2.) If you are a working class, make sure you have a backup business like transportation business or some money invested in government bond or other secured investments not Nigerian stock market pls.


3.) You have a farm being managed by someone outside the city; cassava farming, tomato farm, cucumber farm, well managed fish farm, piggery farm, plantain plantation, oil palm plantation, etc.


Do these before you go and marry any Nigerian lady in Nigeria to avoid had I know because in Nigeria, as a man, your financial worth is your respect and integrity in marriage; Nigerian ladies don't just marry for love and companionship, they marry mostly for abundant provision of their needs first before any other reason and even when they marry you for love, their love will die the moment you fail to provide for them as expected, don't say I didn't warn you.

This moneyed craze behaviour isn't prevalent among northern women. So let's try to be specific when we use the term "Nigerian". All ethnic groups don't behave the same.
