lalaboi:this shit doesnt work |
I need to hear his album to determine, the boy is a very good rapper verse on BRAGGIN RIGHTS was and please don't mention eldee, i don't care what went on between them, but from a fans perspective, freestyle won the battle just based on how he handled it, simple 2 liner on braggin rights, eldee was out her ein yankee doin interviews talkin about free was a raz boy back then, who the fukk cares about that not me, not a real trybesmen fan, we all know him to be a rapper and does he do that well ? absolutely, , eldee now went on to say "one thin i will give him props for is he can rap" , :Dduh, what an idiot, what else do we expect from him? his lifestyle growing up niga fukk out of here , talkin about he is a greencard holder on his album, a lot of these naija rappers never seem to stop amazing me, your group name was TRYBESmen and now u braggin about an american greencard on your cd?? that is retarded, |
so im just curious, what really makes this guy that nice?? just curious is it the punchlines? is it his yankee ascent in his raps? is it his rhymes? is it the image? tattoos? whats really diiferent between him and few other naija kats ive seen here in the states? just out of curiousity, i wana know
these questions are still pending, and this is exactly what i expected, cus it seems like a lot of u do not listen to music but just skim through it, all ive seen on this thread so far is samboribobo, i have no idea what that is, but i stil havent seen any justification on sauce's musical superiority, ANALYSIS: i think sauce is a nice rapper , period, and this has nothign to do with naija standards, he is nice accross boarders, what im trying to say is that we nigerians act very bush and stupid sometimes, and yet we always think we are the best (we think we are the best africans, flyest guys, most difficult women) my opinion, we focus on the wrong things, for the size of our people around the world and how we can grow bigger and better, we should have proper and reasonable standards on criticizing our artists instead of factors such as "the guy is so good u wont know he is a nigerian", seriously is that a statement u should be proud of that is dumb in my own books and its the most downgrading thing i can hear coming out of a native about their own peopleHIPHOP: hiphop evolved in the US, and the ascent lives in the musical delivery of rappers accross boarders because thats the foundation fo the music, its circled around that, just like saying how do u make rock music without the hard drums?? its not possible, but let me tell u how rappers accross boarders have made benefit of this, they have expanded the game in creative and reasonable methods, look at 'gangsta rap' to 'conscious rap' and even 'reggaeton' was founded by a rapper, a latino rapper, don't u think with 100 million people in our country and the level at which we carry ourselves worldwide, we can place our own genre of rap music in the scene, a trully acceptable melody for a nigerian ear and pleasing to a decent population of fans in the world?? i think it is extremely possible without even a question, i will get off topic here for a little bit, the song african queen got me pussy from a sorority girl in school once, i don't mean that in bad way ladies, i just had to spell it out so some people can relate to me CONCLUSION: i just think we(nigerians) are too great to lookup to imitating the content of major hiphop music and use that to determine our level of success/satisfaction/talent, it just doesnt make sense to me, if u want to rap that way to meet the level of americna standards, thats cool but we the fans of the music need to know ourselves and know where the fukk we come from and have some damn pride, i had to let that out cus of how i see some of our people talkin out they noses, NOTE our biggest artists EVER were the ones that stayed true to our culture and our ear for music. (fela, 2face, psquare, onyeka onwenu), and they went on to win world acclaimed awards, went into legendary books, that alone must tell u something, is it ringin yet?? |
so im just curious, wat really makes this guy that nice?? just curious is it the punchlines? is it his yankee ascent in his raps? is it his rhymes? is it the image? tattoos? whats really diiferent btw him and few other naija kats ive seen here in the states? just out of curiousity, i wana know |
oyb:nope that is not happening, reason dey cant go broke hammer style 1) they prob paid cash down for the house 2) the value of that property is definitely gonna appreciate ridiculously year by year very smart move psquare, i love it when ppl make decisions like this, decisions that even some of us who claim to be the most educated with PHD's cannot think of investing in, pls yall shud stop hatin |
candy:wats wrong with these naija girls sometimes?? what the hell is she doing with a 50 yr old man, naija girls i love yall but u disappoint me a lot of times, act like they are too hungry and lose all self respect, money is not everything plzzzz |
dblock, u went off-subject there for a little bit, what jerrymania is trying to say is that, hiphop shud be hiphop, and there shudnt be anything like nigerian hiphop/ afrohiphop or any sub genre, but u have explained that hiphop in africa is still developing (offsubject) anyways, i still agree with u for ur few statements, about the name, i believe afro hiphop is a subgenre of hiphop and yes it will pass for that name just like we have gangsta rap, conscious rap and what not, |
she was fantastic, congrats to her she just delivered a babyboy for Musa Danjuma
this cant be true!!! thats my baby mama |

u guys need to STFU about these igbo guys, i kow so many yahoo boys and i will tel u that most of them I know are yoruba, everyone does it, and internet fraud is internet fraud, dont say igbo boys take it to another level, the crime is a crime and stays what it is, so everyone involved has to fall in that category, nigerians get too tribalistic sometimes, thats why i never get surprised at the Biafran war, and still wonder cus sometiems it feels like we might see something stupid like that occur again, think wit ur common senses, ppl |
ov: ov: ov:are u sure u are not Mode9 himself?? dat dickryding is marvelous |
naijacutee:i dont believe in all that voice trainer crap, u cant tell me that everyone of these top singers have had voice trainers, its practice makes perfect, thats all, and i dont believe a lot of our nigerian artists do that, are u tellinme that people like Brenda Fassie and Chaka Chaka had voice trainers?? heck no, its all practice |
, don't know how to sing?? I'm not talkin about making good music, i'm talkin about good voice, i believe i can count the few that have nice voices, from the guys, Faze, 2Face, maybe a few more, females, nobody i can mention, i'm talkin Mary.J.Blige, Mariah Carey, Chaka Chaka, Brenda Fassie type singing, why is it that our ppl can't hit these high notes? dont they practice with their voices and stuff? or do they just wake up one day and decide that they will start singing? wats the fault here? becos a lot of our ppl do sing with their noses, i LOVE our music regardless but this is just the truth |
wat a stupid comparison, even stevie wonder can tell that Beyonce is finer than Rihanna |
goodness, can someone pls up Mode 9 - Cry i knwo this is not tthat hard to find, cmon folks |
ogbes:exactly what i was going to say, whats the relevance of putting 3 languages in the back of the note, thats kinda segregating all the other tribes, the fact that these 3 languages are the most common languages doesnt mean that the others do not exist, i think that is just irrelevant, and they could have made the naira notes without that |
McDreamy:i need that song too, can someone pls upload it?? thanks a million |
Yusufadeto:can u pls upload the track for us to hear, atleast ppl like us overseas can't get the cd so easily, hook a brother up ejo https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-29522.224.html |
kool4ages:one thing u can do is, set ur PC clock back to about 1981 or the oldest it can go, do ur work, save it and reset ur clock when completed |
thanks man |
i thot his album was supposed to drop soon, i love thta joint with Mike Okri, anyone got any update on this?? |
Pls I need Sauce Kid ft Mike Okri - Omoge Wa Jo |
I'm wondering how much these guys get per show, if anyone has an idea, [please tell us] I know it varies but if you know of how much a certain artist you know has charged for a show, or how much the big boys (2face, psquare and them) charge, [please tell us]. |
Khia is the one that made that song special, any R&B artist could have played janet's role in that song easily, so can u guys pls give Khia some credit cus her distinct voice on the hook str8 made that song sound so nice |
