MIM77: Politics aside. Not a supporter of any party because they are all the same. The current government is in a very tight corner in terms of inflow of resources. It doesn't have the resources to increase salary or allowances. The last revenue shared from the federation account was N299Billion and the share of the federal government out of it is N157.5 Billion while the salary bill of federal government staff for April was N165 Billion. Now where is the capacity to increase salary/allowances? On the issue of subsidy payments, the government spends close to a Trillion naira every year which is about a quarter of the budget, yet pms is not sold at the government pump price across the country. Few people have been claiming subsidy in billions of naira and marketers divert this product and sell it at a high price. The bane of our situation as a country is over dependence on oil. Heard of an example of the sharp practices of marketers in Yola, that 70 tankers were billed to be delivered there but only 7 tankers arrived while the balance diverted. I am in support of the move by the government to remove the subsidy not because i know where the money to meet up the additional expenses will come from but because only few people are getting richer and richer from the policy while the government is subsidizing the product. May God bless Nigeria. bro Buhari is the Architect of his problem,he doesn't have any policy period. |

GEJ and his team still remains the best thing that has ever happened to this country and to most of you saying GEJ is corrupt I don't really blame you guys because your gullibility is legendary, the humble man ran his administration the way he feels will help the masses, and all the accusations leveled against him are money he spent during his campaign which he didnt eat 1 naira from..and I believe that dullard spent more, any day EFCC traces any money to GEJ's account then I will take you guys serious beside Abacha didn't steal 1naira according to dullarpo. |

BetaThings: Which minimum wage? Jonathan was blackmailed into increasing the minimum wage as a precondition for labour voting for him. The minimum wage was on his table more than 1 year before the election
He approved less than 10 weeks before the election of 2011 BTW how much was crude oil price when he increased the minimum wage and was its payment not delayed until well after the election? At $54 per barrel, Jonathan was borrowing to pay salaries can you just hear yourself,a president was blackmailed into signing minimum wage..let your Dullard do the same. |

pharmagba: Increasing minimum wage was a lazy and easy option to go, the more enduring but tougher option was to block all leakages in the system and ensure refineries are functioning to force down price as a result of excess supply. This is called true leadership. Taking the tough decision and not chicken like GEJ what measures did your dullard take? |
