All reviews both in the US and Nigeria picks the accord. The only thing you can enjoy the camry for is the Toyota resale value and cheaper replacement parts. Durability is the same, that camry's dashboard will start melting and cracking giving you a shiny reflection on the windscreen when driving on a hot sunny afternoon. Ogbeni OP pick the accord and be happy.
Tho i feel the accord has a lower ground clearance compared to the camrys' with the way i see it from afar, I'm not sure if I'm right.

Uncle I don't quite agree o, the Camry has a shorter bass length and I know cause I've driven both,in the Accord the I don't even shift the seat so far back

I don't know how people find it funny when they see Soldiers beating a grown up or hear tales of how a soldier beat the life out of a full grown man, for Christ sake we're not animals. I've seen a man being beaten in front of his child all because he answered a call from his wife when a soldier was talking, how do you expect the Child to feel, tomorrow you then hear of someone who detests the Army and would do anything to kill any of them, issues like this are what fuel hatred. There are lot of things wrong with our Nigerian Army, and to think the young man was wrongly accused just makes me weep for this country I'm sure the soldier will go unpunished.
In saner climes, soldier don't just beat people when they feel like it, issues related to this are handled by the police, I just don't understand the mentality the Nigerian Army that as long as they're in their uniform, they can do whatever they want.

Oga all these 77 hrs lost annually can't be compared to Lagos, you lose 2 hrs in the morning and 3 in the evening going to work in the island, 5 days a week,in a month totally 20 hrs and that's if you are a sharp driver l. How I make my pancakes
Seive my flour into a smooth bowl
Add my sugar
Add a little bit more than a pinch of salt
Grate a little nutmeg ( heavenly)
Frisk the eggs with the milk and pour it in bowl
Containing the flour
Then I add water to get the right consistency
Then I add some margarine ( I hate butter and cheese) to the mix, This make the pancake to have holes in it, kinda like a yeast thingy without the swelling
I don't put any lubricant on my pan, eat healthy with teflon.

@CityNG knowing about cars I think in my own opinion is all about having a passion for cars. Not every one knows what the numbers behind the trunk of cars means. Everyone in my house knows I have passion for cars I can even tell cars by looking partially at some part or evening seeing the rear light at night.

I was at the mechanic with my brother and he thought all e class had V6 engines I had to teach him that any e class with E500 is a V8 and some where even i4s, he was even more confused when I called it a w211 and when my mechanic pointed to a bmw I replied saying you mean the E36. You need to have a passion for cars to know all those if not you won't bother researching or checking edmunds just to feed your eyes like I do which was what that led me to NL at first.

Knowing the engine in your car should be a "must" before evening making payment. I remember some guy on this forum bought a Volvo XC90 and he complained it wasn't economical and someone asked was it a V6 or V8 and annoying as it sounds he didn't know.

I thinks it's different strokes for different folks sad to know people buy cars without researching.

I don't see it as a Nigerian thingy just people not having a passion for cars.

The majority of Nigerian don't know anything about cars. What's their business, who hp and torque epp, I have a car group and we are only 6 in the group cause we are extremely selective of participants, when it comes to cars, people are downright illiterate, how can some argue with me about the existence of an i5 or v12

Greetings to veryone on this forum.

I recently bought an 09 Accord, and after scanning it, i get a P0420 error code - Catalyst system below efficiency.

I got my panelbeater to open up the exhaust system, and saw that the catalysts are all gone. Car sounds louder (turbo sound) and consumes fuel. Highest i get is 17mpg. What would be the cost of changing the 2 catalyst, and i only noticed a single o2 sensor (back of engine), i always thought the car has an o2 sensor close to the catalyst system underneath. Pls advice.

I also hear there's an option of using an o2 spacer to fool the car, and get the error code off. What do you suggest, as i am trying to save cost.

This is CARTALK, some of us derive pleasure in knowing how you solved it.

I took the car to the mechanic, I tried to explain all the things you guys told me, Oga no understand, I now showed him that picture, then all he did was to use his screwdriver to touch one place like this on the throttle body and the sound of the engine reduced.

It's because issues like this I've been gunning for a car enthusiast group for active interaction of members that can provide real-time help to affected parties, the response time on nl is quite long

This same car a 2000 model dey my house now, kazeemised and throwing codes, I don't even know where to start.

From your problem, I think you have a throttle body issue. But if your check engine light is on, scan the car, then fix the codes if it has to do with power train. But you can clean the throttle body and let's see how far.

I'll ask the mechanic to check that out ASAP

I have a 2001 Honda Civic, it's a manual tranny, I observed of late that when the car is on neutral or when the clutch is engaged the car idles between 1500-2100 rpm, now I have have to be shifting anyhow to avoid over-revving
