Guys,

I couldn't stop laughing, Yes indeed!

We need to secure our properties. I fully understand the effect crime is having on all Nigerians, but this is excessively far. This was left outside a local mosque in Naija!!!

Mikel would have been in my list but for his recent misbehavior
Aisha abeg leave Mikel alone, what did he do?

Have you heard about one former Nigerian Player called Samuel Sochukwuma Okwaraji?

He died right there on the field of play, playing for Nigeria on August 12 1993. He was a qualified lawyer, had a wife a 2 kids, a mother, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Eighteen years later how have we honoured him? Nothing!!! Nobody remembers him anymore, the much the NFA could do was to observe a one minute silence for him at Saturday's FA Cup finals. Is that enough for somebody of his calibre that has all those mouth to feed if he was to be a life.

Simply put dear Aisha, we don't honour our heros past, and since we don't there nothing to labour for.

Augustine Azuka ("Jay-Jay"wink Okocha (born August 14, 1973 in Enugu) is 34 years old today

Argueably one of the best football midfielders to have ever come out of Nigeria and Africa.

He currently plays in the Qatar league for Qatar SC, a move that was completed in July 2006.

Whilst at Bolton Wanderers, fans wore t-shirts that bore the legend "Jay Jay. So Good They Named Him Twice".

Okocha is known for his outstanding ball control and tricks, His entertaining and flamboyant style of play cannot be forgoten in a hurry. Jay also holds Turkish citizenship, his Turkish name Muhammed Yavuz.

Okocha's previous clubs are: Enugu Rangers, Borussia Neunkirchen, Eintracht Frankfurt, Paris Saint-Germain, Fenerbahçe, and Bolton.

He was regularly selected for the Nigeria national football team from 1993 until 2006. He was also captain of the Super Eagles when he retired from international football at the 2006 African Cup of Nations.

Okocha has played at the 1994, 1998 (where he was named in the official team of the tournament), and 2002 FIFA World Cup finals and many African Nations Cup tournaments. He was also a member of the Nigerian team that won the golden medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.

He is a member of the FIFA 100, a list of the 125 greatest living footballers selected by Pelé in conjunction with FIFA's centenary celebrations. He has also been nominated BBC African footballer of the year (2004 and 2005).

Shall we all rise up and give a hearty cheers to whom honour is due. C-h-e-e-r-s-!

Nairalanders lets bring our cakes and champagne to celebrate on of our own. nobody will do it of us
