@Jarus nice post minus your S.E selection. If that team is taken to world cup as it is, then we might not be able to withstand some oppositions... You can quote me anywia.
For crying out loud what is needed at the world cup is experience upon experience. How many of these players have been to the W.C before?? Look at Italy, Spain, Holland, etc, have experienced players like Pirlo, Puyol, Robben respectively,
Is it because we played one friendly match and Dike scored means he should be taken automatically? I am not saying he is not good enough, but the truth is, we need to combine this side wit mature players wit more experience to do well at the W.C. At least one xperienced/matured player should be in each position of the squad.
That been said, if Keshi really knows what he is doing, then he should make at least three of the following players an integral part of the team:
1. JOSEPH YOBO(super eagles most capped player)
2. I.K UCHE
3.OBAFEMI MARTINS

4. OSAZE ODEMWINGIE
5. JOEL OBI.

My two kobos.

Sports › Re: Egypt Vs Ghana - World Cup Play-off (2 - 1) On 19th November 2013 by Youngsage: 2:49pm On Nov 19, 2013
Honestly speaking o there is no point in them playing this match, FIFA should have cancelled the 2nd leg immediately after the 1st, Ghana was actually the first African country to qualify for world cup, ahead of Nigeria.
FIFA should convert it to a friendly match.
What I am trying to say is that there is NO way Egypt will score 6 goals against Ghana today. [s]Though it is said that in football anything can happen[/s], this match is an exception. What will happen is already known, ghana will just widen the aggregate margin, like someone has said it is to fulfil all righteousness. Sorry if I hurt anyone but this is just the fact
March this year, I was at Lekki Phase one about boarding a bus to go home. 5pm is the usual closing hour for most people, ao we had the usual crowd waiting to hop into the first bus that came around, and yeah there were also those waiting to rob those waiting to hop into a bus.
I was an unfortunate victim.

By the time i got into the bus, i noticed my bag was slightly open. Even without looking in, I already knew what to expect. My phone was gone(the celeb one) and my brt ticket. In that same place were #500 note and my nokia torchlight phone.
It would appear i moved before the thief could complete his mission.

I just sat in the bus completely numb. I wasn't sure whether to cry, scream or laugh sad
Thank God for small mercies, if my nokia torch was taken too i would have actually cried. The stolen phone had my inactive line, while the torch had the active. But I miss that pretty pink phone like madt, and i miss my memory card most of all--Imagine losing my playlist of over 800 songs from every known genre!! angry That one drove me mad mehn.

But like always God dey. I lost that phone and got a sweeter one later cheesy but that doesn't mean i don't want it back though grin

I learnt my lessons, and topping the list was: ALWAYS clutch your handbag to your chest while boarding a bus.
See everyone as a potential robber.
Avoid crowds like a plague.
NEVER underestimate the importance of the regular 'palasa'. Keep your active sim in them. They are the most reliable phones in the market.
Sorry dear, can imagine how you must have felt that day.
My second phone that was stolen had about 2,500 songs, 500+ videos and over 1000 personal pictures on the 8gig m.card.
I was sooo mad that day!! Infact anytime I remembered the loss I almost wanted to cry. That was early April this year... Like you said the lesson was learnt tho. i mean it could have been worse but I thank God i've gotten over it now o cheesy

DrummaBoy: It was about 2007. I was still struggling in the Nigerian Labor Market. A good friend had dashed me this Nokia phone (those ones with torch light). This faithful afternoon, I was returning from Church. I went to see someone at the UCH, Ibadan and was coming out of the East Gate heading to my humble bachelor abode.

The road was diserted as it is usual with Sunday afternoon and I so I settled for a bike to take me to gate. The bike I got had another fellow on it. It is not unusual in to sit two at the back of the rider in IB city. So I hopped on but something was amiss. First, the bike was not the regular commercial one that should have a leg rest for the two sitters at the back. This one had just one. But I was too tired to protest.

Another thing was that these guys put in their middle: strange indeed as, usually if I am not a lady, I should sit behind the person already on the bike if he is male and I am male. But the guy shifted and beckoned for me to sit in the middle. Again I didn't protest. Then, I propoesed a rather ridiculous price for the ride and the driver agreed without bargaining. And then, lastly, they headed the wrong direction. Instead of heading to Total Garden, they headed toward the Secretariat. I still did not protest.

When we rounded a bend, that had bush blocking the road and ensure on coming vehicles would not see us, the bike man stopped. The other man behind began to brisk me and behave like he was drunk. I was alarmed and after giving a little protest. I took to my heels. To my suprise they did not pursue me. Rather they got on their bikes and ran off. I was there shaking like a leaf but thankful to have been delivered from kidnappers (or so I thought they were).

A man in his car who saw the whole thing came and picked. He asked if I was OK, I said yes. He said he saw them brisking me and as a police officer, he felt he should come to my aid. I thanked him and he offered to drop me at Gate, my destination at first. Then I checked my pocket and realized they had stolen my phone. Without dipping a hand in my pocket, those guys took my phone.

I thank God I can live to tell the story as God has made it possible for me to own better phones since then.
Lol!!! You were Hypnotised, i.e jazzed!!!

That's what they use now cos they know pple are getting wiser. Thank God 4 ur lyf

Did you say a family friend? Some so called friends can be very wicked o, a lesson 4 us to be careful about the type of 'friends' we let into our homes especially.

Ohioh: Ok it was this day I was going to school... I just got an iPhone - 1 of d latest @ d time. It was just ova 3 2 4months old! It stil amuses me hw it happened! I put the fone in2 my left pocket as I highlighted 4rm d commercial vehicle I was in! Carryin my skul load n prov. In my 2 hands walkin 4rm where I highlyted 2 d oda syd of d road wer I was 2 board anoda bus wen al of a sudden ds random boy walks 4rm behind tryin 2 make a convo wit me. 1st ov al I reluctant bt he was persistent n I later gav in... Al of a sudden he somhw convinced me dat my perfectly Ok shoe hz startd 2 Open mouth - hw I blivd him I av no idea! So he convinced me 2 stamp my feet on the ground n sed I wz nt duin it properly n offer 2 hold my left leg wit hz hand n manuali help me stamp ma feet on d ground! And dat waz it! Al of a sudden we approach a V-junctn n we went our seperate ways... - Al along I knw sumtin waz wrong bt culd nt figure out wat xactly! After I tuk a couple of steps I felt my pocket n it waz no where 2b found! Nida waz d guy! And dat waz it! I mourned d fone 4 ova 2-3weeks! I felt reali bad... Dreamt abt d fone... It was terrible!
It kinda felt lyk I ws goin 2ru a breakup afta many years ov being 2geda!
Mehn!!!!!! I can relate with this seriously... I also had a similar encounter, it was my first phone. This guy tout came from nowhere... He must have been following me because it happened right infront of my house.
I went shopping and was just returning, had barely stepped into my compound when he signalled to me from the other side of the street. I stopped to listen to what he had to say as he crossed to meet me. He was saying something like "brother wait wait there's something under your pam! do like this to get it off" (while he demonstrated by stamping his feet). I looked under the soles of my pam I didn't see anything there, but still I obeyed and did same, and he said "you aren't doing it very well, let me do it for you!"
I was already becoming very suspicious at this point and more alert despite being very tired, it was a hot afternoon.
So this guy bent down, lifted my right leg for me, and stamped it a couple of times on the ground while I watched, perplexed.
He now said "that's it, i've removed it for you" and was strolling away. Immediately I reached for my fone in my right pocket it wasnt there I shouted at him angrily "bring my phone back now!!!"
He came back and gave it to me and said "E tii go ara yin sha" meaning "you fooled yourself" I wanted to slap him but I let him be, who knows he might have been armed.. all dis happened ryt infront of my gate... The fone was eventually stolen later on sha.
