Agriculture / A New Concept Of Cooperative In Nigeria by youngzoologist: 7:22am On Jun 02, 2018
History has it that one good way of achieving collective result is by the coming together of like minds to achieve one singular vision. Cooperative has existed for quite sometime and has helped many who belong to such to achieve their individual goals.

Cooperative in most institutions or organisation caters majorly for the wellbeing of their members as they render all sort of financial assistance to financial members. It is not a charity organisation though.

Unlike the typical cooperative many are used to where members come together physically, we are introducing to you, the 21st century cooperative system leveraging on technology. Distance is not a barrier, neither is working status a disadvantage.

Be part of this great vision and lets build our dear country Nigeria agricultural sector collectively.

Experience they say is the best teacher. Our entrepreneurial journey in the last one decade has no doubt prepared us for the challenges and opportunities locked up in every succesful business.
Success doesn't just come without records of series challenges, failures and its likes. But the success stories thst ends such adventure makes tge journey worth it.

Today, a seed that started with just an individual, grew into an unregistered group and finally into a registered cooperative....every clear vision will be fulfilled in its time.

Now is our time by the grace of God.

Do you know that daily such tons of farm produces hardly remain till the next day cos of their perishable nature.
Do you know that directly or indirectly you are contributing to the GDP as long as you eat.

The big question....do you know you can start earning from such agro commodities.....
The fastest and almost guaranteed investment is trading.....particularly trading agro commodities.

Today, many reputable organisations would rather love to deal with a group of people than an individual. Cooperative provides such opportunity for people of like minds to come together.
Their are many benefits of been part of a purposeful cooperative, one critical part is members welfare. Consequently, a staff of a reputable Insurance company in partnership with LASCOPED will feature in our online meeting tomorrow to discuss on the topic" Insurance packages for cooperative members".

Agriculture / Farm Settlement....are There Still For Our Generation!!! by youngzoologist: 2:22pm On Apr 28, 2018
OUR DILEMMA IN OUR TIME
In my quest to find out secured farm for large commercial and mechanised farming, I remembered in late 60s, 70s and early 80s that their were government farm settlements.

Unfortunately, after series of enquiries, I was told by a member of the Ministry that their is no longer such farm settlement for this generation..(kindly correct me if its untrue).

Fortunately for our fathers, those who were foresighted that agriculture will again regain its place of pride in nations economic sustenance got such allocation of hectares of land. Some of them planted economic crops such as palms, cocoa, groundnut, etc. Today, they are reaping it.

Bur the question now is what happens to our generation??‍♂...since many of us had no such parents who benefitted from such farm settlement.

Hence the emergence of AgroWealth Coop. History has it that old farmers engaged in cooperative where many of them were able to get funding to finance their farms but unfortunately, such farms were solely managed by an individual, hence, their inability to effectively and efficiently managed such farms worse enough when their children wouldn't want to engage in farming for continuity.

AgroWealth Coop in this 21st century promises to revolutionalise how cooperatives can again help redefine agribusiness.

Many Coop collapsed majorly because of the managers of such cooperatives who out of greed, squandered members funds for their selfish ambition and visionless idea.

AgroWealth Coop trust in God to change the game as we invite the general public to join us to bring a change to agriculture in Nigeria and Africa at large.

Like to know how, chat us on 08153701613 for more info

God bless Nigeria! God bless Africa and the World at Large.

Farm crowdy promised 8-12%, within 4-6months....this is not too bad a return in farming...that gives you between 16-24% annually. You can get this in most financial instituitions....I don't know of other instruments.

Farmers in the house pls help me i got a stretting 4mm pellet feed for my fishes inside of floating pls i hope it wont have negative effect on my fishes. Uncle robnoski and other Farmers pls advice me

Though I did get your request precisely cos you did not give a vivid picture but my guess is that you saw 4mm size of feed in your feed probably smaller mm.....its a pelleting issue most time except if rebagged....

Nevertheless, don't be too worried, the fishes are smarter not to eat what is bigger than the mouth size...furthermore, the floating will equally dissoved in no time, making it easy for them to feed on....Nothwithstanding, be mindful you don't have excess of such as it may lead to water pollution.

"Any investment that DOES NOT give an Annual ROI that exceeds the annual inflation rate is not an investment, but a Charity"

Please read the statement again with the emphasis in red. Any investment that DOES NOT give ROI THAT EXCEEDS inflation means the investor is doing charity.

Good morning and happy Sunday....good clarification...the area that seems unclear was who will be doing charity?....and that you have cleared....."Investor"....

Offcourse, no business minded investor would invest on such, nevertheless, too attractive ROI could as well be a bait...hence we take our time to inform our prospective investor the ROI on any of our project and all its terms and condition.

Any investment that does not give an Annual ROI that exceeds the annual inflation rate is not an investment, but a Charity. Any returns below the inflation rate means your money is losing value.

While I wish you the best in the launch of your new platform, I will be willing to invest in your platform if your returns far exceeds the inflation rate. This is the only way to make sure your investors are not losing money.

Thanks for your comment.....but I guess your lines sounds unclear if I read well

"if Annual ROI exceeds Annual Inflation....CHARITY and if below, money LOSS..but you will prefer Charity".....kindly clear.....

We hope to delight our prospective investors as we are currently doing. However, we share
knowledge with our prospective investors before they invest....one of our uniqueness....and we are
opened to learning as agribusiness is a new investment concept in the 21st century, reasons why the
financial institutions are still skeptical about funding farming.

Hope to hear from you.

Thrive Agric is way better in terms of ROI. The ROI on new farmcrowdy farms is about half of what Thrive Agric offers.

I'm happy reading inquries like this....I strongly believe we are getting there soon as a people and as a nation.

The truth is that our perception or understanding of ROI is often misinterpreted and the reason is that their are different ways of arriving at ROI.
Also, a promoter may attach ROI directly with Capital like a fixed interest and others may attach it with net profit which is the commonest.

Farmcrowdy so far as been a great concept and they have earned my salutation inspite of us running similar business idea......lol....

Hopefully, come month of May, 2018 we shall officially launch ours which has been in existence since 2015 but aren't making noise about it......we have taken our time to ensure that 85% of future challenges that may arise has been mitigated.

Finally, however small an ROI turns out to be in agriculture, it will be far better than leaving that money in the bank or investing it in financial product.....no crime with that but if we all run away with our money, whats the fate of agriculture......

Lets join hands together and support innovative ideas after carrying out our due deligence.
God bless Nigeria farmers, God bless Nigeria

It takes a novice to see such offer and jump at it without expert analysis.
Just on feeding alone.....worth of #900,000 to feed 5000pcs amounts to #180/fish to expect 650g......failed.

ubreeze:
Hello guys, CAFAN in Akwa Ibom just introduced an Anchor growers scheme in the state for 1000 farmers.
It is a CBN loan that will involve a company giving farm inputs to farmers and buying all the fish during harvest
The summary of it all is this:
1. You will be given at least 5000 juveniles @ N40 per one = N200,000
2. You will be given 150 bags of a Nigerian feed at N6000 per bag =N900,000
3. cash for the farm management n salaries
Everything will sum up to about 1.3m
Note: you will not be given physical money but the inputs will be supplied to you.
At the end of 3 months, the uptaker will come and harvest your fish and pay N500 per kilo
You are meant to have atleast 3250kg of fish at harvest to qualify for another loan.

Please kindly assist to analysis
Is the pricing ok for the fingerlings and feed?
The price per kilo is it okay too since they r buying all at once.
then, will d 150 bags of feed be enough to grow them to 650g in 3 months?
