From the pic, it looks well cemented, so, first I would say try and notice where it stops, secondly, how dried was your German floor before you cemented the surface, third, check if your water drains the floor, finally, check your outlet valve constructed inside the pond....if all your ponds had similar case, the foundation is faulty or the plumbing. |

Ejulafarm: Out of the Box Thinking
Preserving Ugu Leaves:
This area is yet to be really understudied considering our lack of interest. An harvested Ugu can still retain its freshness if stored in the fridge. But for how long, I am yet to ascertain.
Is there an opportunity for this area to yield great return no matter the invested capital? Considering building a cold room gulp up huge cost.
Or is there a more cost effective way in achieving this? Hello ejula...please kindly leave me your whatsapp contact.....Thanks...
The preservation of Ugu leaves is a huge bearing branch in the value tree of Ugu farming and this can be felt by everyone doing the dry season pricing.
This idea can help one out there if you have the time and tenacity to study it.
I will update of my progress soon by God's grace.
Good morning

manya: Please house i have hatched this fish on 14 october i am now worried about their size becouse this is my first time. Is the aize ok for 4 weeks hatchlings? What about the their popilation in that tank? Are they not too many for the tank? Thank you. I like to congratulate for the successful hatching....good job....first, I think their sizes @4weeks old is undoubtedly smaller than expected size at 4weeks and this may be traceable to overpopulation......coupled with other factors...I could see shooters in their already..... Their sizes can improve tremendously if you can provide more ponds to accommodate them and proper management.... Weldone |

kesterotabor: please house I have flair for ugu farm but don't know to get people to buy them after growth ....I reside in Benin city ....CONTACT/WHATSAPP :07063358986
thanks However successful your farming was....if you cannot sell your farm produce profitably then its no longer a success.....two options you have....either you have middle men coming for it or you scout for your direct customers.....either way you need to do some market survey....1. in terms of pricing and quantity...2. vegetable markets in your area....3. price differentiation using direct or indirect sales strategy...... All the best.... |

My view too is that it is not pH issue cos they hatched and survived till at least three weeks.....my question is how do you manage your fries in your hatchery....this is another major area of concerns....like they've said....flow through....but it isn't enough cos Artemis settles down at the bottom of the pond and fries tends to hide underneath it....how often do you siphon your feed sediment.... The floor of your hatchery must be clean and freed of feed waste..... |
