As PDP has lost Ekiti, so also is APC going to lose Osun. Any state/party owing workers salary has no right being in governance. |

JUSTICETHEO: [s][/s]
Fayemi drained Ekiti dry with bad loans that he can't even account for.
Fayose inherited a debt of well over 70bn naira from Fayemi and that is only bank loans. Fayemi left a backlog of well over 8mths unpaid salaries which Fayose had to clear.
Or did Fayemi not owe works months on end salaries?
Or have you forgotten the lie you afonjas where using to excuse your states indebtedness as due to "GEJ stealing our oil money"?
All your useless satanic worshiping ritual serial killers parading as governors used to claim that the reason they couldn't pay salaries was because GEJ cut their allocations. Or are you going to deny that as well?
I will rather live in a country with the most radicalized ab0ki than to share the same continents with you children of perdition from the waste land. Haaaaa! With people like you Nigeria is finished. Who told you Fayemi owed civil servant 8months salary? 70billion naira debt? . Anyway to set the record straight Fayemi only owed civil servant 1month salary before he left. |
Politics › Re: How Fayose Lost Ekiti by youseuph(m): 7:02pm On Jul 16, 2018 |
seunmsg: Fayose stupidly believed that Ekiti people are fools because we gave him a second chance in 2014. The 2014 victory got into his head and he felt he's one kind of political genius that knows it all. He quickly dismantled the united coalition that worked for him and made himself the alpha and omega of everything in the state. He failed to fulfil all his promises to political leaders in his own party and when they complain, he tags them an enemy and start victimising them. People who couldn't stomach such nonsense started leaving the party for him. Instead of retracing his steps, he became more hardened and told everybody that cannot accept his dictatorship to leave the party. More people left.
With his attitude coupled with the fact that he doesn't listen to the opinions of others, his downfall was just a matter of time. To show how stupid and arrogant Fayose can be, he publicly announced his preferred successor almost a year before the election. That alone gave his opponents both within and outside the party enough time to strategies against him. APC quickly reached out to those they knew would be aggrieved after PDP primary and reached a working agreement with them to defect once Fayose succeeds in imposing Eleka.
More foolishly, Fayose choose a candidate from Ikere Ekiti and still went ahead to create problem for him in his hometown by wagging an unnecessary war against Olukere, the traditional and spiritual head of the town. Olukere was arrested and locked up for some days in Ado-Ekiti few months to the election. Fayose's supporters openly celebrated the public humiliation of the traditional ruler without thinking of the political consequences. On election day, Olukere's supporters and the people of Afao-Ikere quarters turned up for APC thereby resulting in an almost equal division of Ikere votes. If Ikere had voted solely for their son, PDP would have won the election.
Apart from his crass arrogance, Fayose is also very stingy. He believed he can always get what he wants from people by manipulating them. In days towards the election, billions of naira was raised from PDP governors but Fayose sat over the money alone. Even Eleka didn't have access to campaign funds. Party members were complaining discretely since nobody could confront him openly. His stinginess also led him not to fulfil his N10,000 promise to motorist that agreed to park their vehicles in government house when Buhari visited the state. Most of the drivers failed to turn up for him on election day.
Finally, he allowed Adeyeye to leave the party. That was the last straw that broke the camels back. Adeyeye was the leader of the party before Jonathan hijacked it for Fayose in 2014. Adeyeye was placated with a ministerial appointment so as not to leave the party. In 2018, Fayose saw no reason to placate him. He instead ordered Mere Olayinka and his lackeys to attack him in the media. The outcome is what we saw last Saturday. Thumbs up. You truly understand Ekiti politics. You are not like some people. |

“Again, I have chosen a deputy governor and I have told him from the beginning that *the two of us will pack our load and leave the Government House* because I don’t want a deputy that will start playing politics behind me when we are in government and will be distracting me, I don’t want that again. I really don't know why our brothers from the east are so concerned about Ekiti as if they have an idea of what the state is facing due to Fayoses maladministration. The shock you people will experience will be more than the one that hit you when GEJ lost the 2014 election. FYI I am a civil servant in Ekiti and deeply rooted here, so I know the pulse of the real Ekitians, not the rants on internet especially nairaland (which is mostly by outsiders) |

Fayemi was once a governor and Ekiti was peaceful. Moreover herdsmen crisis is not a party related problem. Osun, ondo, Ogun, Oyo , kwara are APC states and as far as I know there is no herdsmen crisis in those states. Taraba on the other hand is battling with herdsmen issues alongside other middle belt states. |

Holding rally on a major road to give an impression of a huge crowd. For your info, today was declared a public holiday and civil servants , job seekers were mandated to come for collection of their promotion letters and submit their completed employment forms respectively. That is Fayose antic. There is no way Eleka will win that election. I am on ground in Ekiti, so I know the situation of things. |

Do you have a relative in Osun that has committed sucide because of salary? Why do you people like to blow Osun matter out of proportion. The most vulnerable population of workers( levels 1-7) collect full salary and are not being owed at all. Levels 8-10 are being paid 75% of their salary. The highest a level 10 collect in civil salary is 100k. Now tell me how someone that collects 75k out of 100k will commit suicide ? Only those on level 12-17 collect 50% . Stop painting Osun as one poverty ravaged state pls. |
