TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by youseuph(m): 3:45pm On Mar 17, 2016
Hello house. I was previously denied based on my financial circumstance. Myy question now is can I build my account by not touching my salary @ all say 3 or 4 months salary. This is because I work with state govt where salary is not paid regularly, such that if I say I want to save for 6months, I might not be able to raise enough money for my account.

Well nothing ventured nothing gain.I know of 2 senior colleague. One who applied solely with the intention to come write the exams and his visa was granted last year, he came around February, wrote evaluating in in July and took both MCQ and OSCE in November, unfortuanetly he failed OSCE and passed only MCQ, he is coming back to do OSCE in November this year. The second came for evaluating exams in January2016 but i dont know whether he applied for purpose of the exams or just normal tourist visa.
BUT Most people i have seen trying the exams are either having PR already or have study permit. Hope you are jacking well oh, from what i have seen with some friends here the exam na baba oh. As men of honor we join hands
Thanks a bunch sis. I have been on this for quite some time. Was denied UK visa in dec for the january exam. That's why am thinking of giving Canada a try. I will be glad if you can link me up with those people you know that have thread this path.

You stated that the cost of the trip is 1500 GBP, my guy, Abeg where the money wan come from? Let me assume that u had a fixed deposit investment that was supposed to mature before travel date.

You funny oh
Bro tx. I agree that I made a big mistake for the earlier application. But can I re apply now? With a bank balance of 800k obtained from salary arrears, donation from wife and from a jointly owned company. All these were accumulated over two months.

I know about the exam. Too be honest with you, getting a visit visa to write that exam is very tough (reason being that, your application is for a non-immigrant visa, yet your action says otherwise). You might also want to research on the pass rate of those exams, the evaluating and its OSCE's, cos it's an expensive venture.

I know 2 pharms from Nigeria that have been denied visa to visit Canada to write the evaluating exam. One works in one of the multinational as a manager and the other is a lecturer in one of the Fed. uni.
I am not saying it's impossible, but I know it's tough.

You would have to apply for a normal visit visa. There is no other visa category.

I appreciate your comment. But what do you advise in this case? How best can I go about it to secure the visa.

Not true. Not applicable to students. Such factor might only come to play in the case of a visitor's visa. The question may arise: why Canada as far as it is away from your home?
Thank you. what kind of visa is appropriate for my situation. The exam is held in two countries i.e uk and Canada

If it's not a professional licensing exams to practice in a regulated profession in Canada, you should be fine. Do not worry about the first time rumour. if you qualify for a visa, you would be given irrespective of whether you have travelled out or not.
It is the Evaluating exam of the pharmacist examining board of Canada, which is the first stage of the exam out of like 3 stages

Sorry but this will hurt.
You submitted a bank account with only £18 in it for travel and you are surprised to be rejected.
You own a company but have no money because that company has not paid you.
Then you want to use that account for travel.
First you can not use a company account for personal travel.
Second you have no funds and very poor ties to home.

Why are you wasting your meager funds on attempts to get a visa with so little chance of success.

Go away, get your life and finances in place then re-apply after 1 or 2 years.
I appreciate your comment bro. I made the application ignorantly. Thinking that all I needed to show was an evidence of regular. Income. What I normally do is once my salary comes in I withdraw it and invest it in stock in the company. As for ties I have enough but didn't show it. Anyway I appreciate your comment.

I intend to apply in April. How shld I go abt it pls

The implication is that you have no records of where the money came from.
With no records the visa officer can not check if the money is really available for your trip.
So very probably a rejection.
What of if make the payment using the company's cheque?

You got to be paying yourself a fixed amount monthly from the company via bank transfer (not cash). On the visa form there is a clause that asks for other sources of income from friends, family, stocks, investments....In that section you write down the amount you get from your company monthly
Ok thanks. But must it be monthly pay. What of if I make it weekly cos I may not have enough time to build the account adequately before the time I am supposed to apply for the visa.

How do I prove the authenticity of the said sources? What are the documents I needed to provide?

Accumulate your salary and avoid money lodgement. Even though huge sums were deposited into my account weeks before the application my account has always been recording credits from another source monthly however I spend the money as it's coming which made it hard for me to accumulate money over time . In addition make realistic travel budget as my budget was barely £1,000. Lastly I was a UK resident till January 2015 and never made recourse to public fund all through my stay there so all these may have made the ECO less stringent on my application..
Thanks a bunch.

My plan for building my account include using my 3 months salary arrears that I am expecting shortly as well as my wife's salary which is the same as what I earn. Do I need to attach her statement of account too to prove the source of the money coming from her?

Just returned from TLS in VI to pick up my package. As I've said on this wall, you dont have to be earning excessively to get the uk visa.

With my 110k a month salary i was issued the 2 year c visa. I had a closing balance of 790k and about 500k of it was deposited between

january 7th and january 25th. I applied online on the 30th. I finished nysc in mid october and started working at the end of november so could only submit three pay slips for november, december and january as I got regularized only after completing nysc
Your post has given me some relief. I intend to apply for UK visa by 1st week in in March for the purpose of writing a professional exam in July. But my problem is I don't have enough cash in my account presently. I have just 250k but hope to raise it up to like 600 by march. I earn 150k as salary. Could salary alert be intterpretted as cash lodgement and what are my chances of securing the visa?
