My brother no p. Me n u know say visa application isn't not abt doing something right or wrong. It is a function of wat d consular feels. If u know how I felt on Friday. My own self pass scared. It wasn't abt docs na bribing those stupid Indians dey find oo.

I don't mean to scare anyone and I don't want anyone to miss d chance of going to Estonia dis year bcoz of those stupid Indians at d embassy wey wan make money.

Like I said, u can be lucky to get it doing it yourself , but at d moment, d embassy is hot and going there by yourself is highly risky. Pls! I use God beg u, if u fit get person wey go help u arrange dem @ d embassy for a small token, pls, take his/her offer.

Dis isn't d time to save money! Spend money n get wat u want oooooo. Na just advice based on my experience.

If person put up a suggestion, don't be quick to attack person. The other time wen I was talking about posting docs together to save cost, na u come tackle me say na foolish idea, say d school go reject am. Even wen I explain say I have confirmed from d school if it is possible, u still went ahead to rain various name calling on me (I can still remember d words u used to describe me), I just bone u.

I later send my documents with 4 other person i.e 2 bsc and 2 MSc, through DHL and we all got admitted. In life, even wen u feel d suggestions doesn't go well with u, just offer ur own suggestion without making d other person look stupid or foolish. These is a forum where we all share valuable information to help each other out. So dat those coming behind us doesn't make d same mistakes we made.

I didn't say dey won't give u if I go by urself but, I am just say na 50/50 chance even wen all ur docs dey complete n correct. But if u go through agent, dem go help u bribe dem and get u ur visa without headache. It is just a function of penny wise pounds foolish going by urself.

(See d mail I got from wakanow below on visa application). I Won't just come here to give unnecessay info if I don't have basis for such information. U can pay a visit to their site to view all other services dey offer aside ticket n hotel booking or visit their office.

Coz last week, dey refuse to change date for students dat went independently. Even wen admission letter state resumption date earlier dan d appointment date, dey still refuse to change d date. Those who got change of date are only people travelling for medical reasons and those who buy their way through.

So, my advice to guys is to go through person, don't try to do it yourself bcoz u wan save small change.

Brotherly, dont discourage or scare pepole unneccessarily, the fact that one person was denied doesnt call for false alarm, people only need to dot their i's and cross their t's and you are good to go. Don't go to Indian embassy on your own! Try to arrange with trusted agent! Any small error or mistake na NO! Indian embassy don dey deny visa anyhow now. No more date reschedule.

why not buy health insurance from mutual benefit here in Nigeria, it is recognized every where iN Europe, Infact European embassies in Nigeria do recommend it. is just N30500 only . and it has about $30,000 coverage. am talking from experience.

It don't matter in wat order u book. Just make sure u hv ur Estonian embassy appointment confirmation email printed out while going for your Indian visa interview.

And u also need d Estonian embassy appointment email print out for visa interview reschedule!

nsurance contract
An alien applying for a residence permit or residing in Estonia, who is not covered by compulsory health insurance pursuant to the Health Insurance Act, is obligated to enter into a compulsory health insurance contract (hereinafter a contract) corresponding to the following terms and valid in Estonia during the whole validity period of the residence permit:
the contract is entered into with an insurance provider authorised to insure the medical treatment insurance risk in Estonia;
an insured event is an unexpected and unforeseeable illness or accident occurred with the alien insured according to the contract (hereinafter the insured person) during the insurance period;
an insurer is required to reimburse to an insured person, within the extent of the sum insured, the necessary medical costs due to the illness or accident and the costs of studies being done for establishing the insured event and the determination of the treatment;
the insurance coverage for the insurance period of one year is at least 6000 euros;
in case the parties have agreed on the waiting period in the meaning of subsection 558 (1) of the Law of Obligations Act, this may not be longer than two months;
the contract shall enter into force as of the granting of the residence permit and shall expire with the expiry of the period of validity of the residence permit, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
The compulsory insurance requirement is also covered by a compulsory insurance or collective insurance contract entered into by another person, provided that the alien is named as the insured person in such contract.
In case within the insurance period the insured person becomes a person covered with insurance or equal to thereof on the basis of the Health Insurance Act:
the insurance provider has no duty of performance to the extent in which the insured person has a right to receive health insurance benefit on the basis of the Health Insurance Act;
The parties are entitled to cancel the contract on the basis of the Health Insurance Act as of the arising of the insurance cover.

If an alien has no opportunity to conclude a proper insurance contract before the residence permit is granted to him/her, then he/she must submit:
a written assurance, that he/she will conclude the required insurance contract no later than within two months after the settlement in Estonia;
an insurance contract, which shall cover the medial treatment expenses until the conclusion of a proper insurance contract (e.g. travel insurance contract).

Written confirmation shall not be accepted, if the applicant is staying in Estonia or has arrived into Estonia prior the decision is made about the application for residence permit (e.g. on the basis of visa).

It means u are buying an health insurance policy that has at least €6,000 coverage. The price of such policy is btw €200-€400 per year depending on d insurance company you use.

I actually notarized all my documents and sent to them but they mailed on 10th June saying I should notarized my bachelor degree certificate and send to me. I replied their mail to enquire about what happened to the notarized certificate I sent to them and they told me that the one I sent to them has high court stamp instead of notary stamp and seal.

This is not notarization ooo. Red seal should be their and a stamp claiming it was done by a public Notary officer

We have received a copy of your Bachelor’s degree diploma. However it is not correctly certified. The diploma must be notarized but currently the document has a stamp of High Court on it.

Unfortunately this will not be accepted.

It depends on time when he gets there

Everybody were denied yesterday! Based on info, all applications for change of date were collected around 9a.m but only those going to India for medical reason were granted change of date others were asked to come on d date indicated earlier on the application form irrespective of ur reason for the change or when your school will be resuming.

The documents I submitted for TRP were:
1. Application form for TRP.
2. Data concerning close relatives and family members.
3. Bank statement.
4. Proof of source of funds in my bank account.
5. Copy of health insurance contract.
6. Letter of guarantee (confirming that in case the existing insurance is not valid in Estonia, you will purchase a valid health insurance contract from Estonia).
7. Copy of the data page of my passport and visa.
8. Copy of my old passport (The consul requested for it because my present passport was issued in Moscow).
9. A colour photograph sized 40x50 mm.

As for visa, I think the same documents will suffice in addition to travel insurance (I didn't apply for visa).
For the health insurance, I bought Swisscare Studentpass International Standard for 365 days at EUR 197.1
You can buy it online.

Since yesterday wey I don dey contact people from estonia concerning insurance! Dey warned seriously concerning Swisscare! It is no longer accepted! They stopped accepting it early dis year.

Once I get more update on it, I will post it here!

SMH. you came to Estonia thread to form James bond simply because of little information you managed to have during your 2015 application which was just yesterday. Mr know it all master of none. between you and me who exactly should Read read and read. On page 43 of this Estonia thread, Demaejy asked a question when there was page 1 - 42 for him to read read and read to get the answer but he never did and nobody asked him to read and read. when you also move to Cyprus, Hungary and rest of thread on his profile, you will also notice that he never proffered any solution rather he was only asking questions even the ones he should have read and read the previous page to get the answer; remember this was the person that do not need to gain from anybody's question. if you have a question to ask but decides to allow the question grow and germinate seed in your stomach for fear of been attacked by his like, you better think twice. Ideally d will tell u officially dey take 2 weeks to reply due to large number of applicants but to get instant answers next time! I can either msg dem in d midnight (most preferably Sunday night) so it will be d first tin dey sees on Monday morning. I h used dis method wella. Another useful method wen u mail during working hour (preferably 9-10am , nigeria time) call them on fone like 10-15min after to ask if they they ur mail. If they confirm d recipient of ur mail via fone, u should get a reply almost immediately.


But pay attention to d tone of ur mail if u want speedy and relevant reply

Thanks for your response. I read nairaspace response which I believe is for bachelor's besides the same nairaspace said some of the documents he stated are not part of the requirements. Even if you are staying in the country for one day, there are some things some countries don't accept in their country. Are you aware there are countries that you can't enter with beans for fear of weevils and oil for fear of the unknown? I asked that questions since we are not taking a direct flight from Nigeria to Estonia. Oga, the food is meant for Estonia journey not india but it would have to pass India route so is good to know the do's and don'ts, hope you understand now?

Me no know about food ooo, But people Iasked said make una pack as many local foods u can carry ooooooo!

But on d currency, change all ur money to euro from nigeria.We u reach India, cover only d small portion u needed for ur indian runs to rupee!

On airline to india, I have been investigating Ethiopian airline and Etihad airline, Both seems to be d cheapest at d moment but Etihad was cheaper the last time i checked! U can use (https://www.google.com/flights) to study ticket variation with time

Infact after my interview, I didn't get any email response from them rather the mail i got was that they have received all my documents and is being processed though the prof that interviewed me said I hope to see you in Estonia this September. I even tried mailing them to know my status and I was told I will be informed on 1st june

Bro! U won't see any waitlist anywhere! But ideally you were suppose to get a reply from them after the interview. Since you didn't get and you got these new communication! It implies u dey waitlist
