Summe: Hi people,
How do I beg vfs to give DHL my decision envelope for return?! I have sent mails over mails, and called both numbers, I haven't gotten a reply. Today, I was able to reach an agent, but the call got hung up while speaking to him.
I'm so frustrated, what do I do please? So sorry about this. The thing is not to get tired. You need to keep calling them. For those who had this kind of delay in the past, they kept calling them. If you need to call like 3/4 times a day, please do. You will get your passport soon hang in there. |

Hassan19: Hello house, I got a quick question oo. Is it possible to get a study Visa without submitting land documents as part of strong ties to home? Someone said it's compulsory. Is this true and are there any other ways to show strong ties to home. I'm into businesses.
Please help me answer oo. It is not compulsory. It is just added document. If you can establish your home ties without the land document, then go ahead. If you also add it, it is good but not Compulsory. |

Rootiab: Good morning everyone. I just got biometrics instruction letter. Please what documents do I need for biometrics? You will be needing: BIL. The letter you received for biometrics 2 colour copies of your International passport Original international passport Biometric appointment letter You need to book for appointment through the VFS website, so I suggest you do that now. Then go with the documents stated above. Make sure you make all the copies you will need else you pay heavily for it at the visa center. All the best as you move ahead. |

Rootiab: Good day everyone. Please permit me to share my story. I started this Canada talk since 2012/2013 when I graduated from secondary school then I later went to one university in ghana. Fast forward to 2018 when I was serving and I still wanted to travel then 2020 came and j started my process, I was miraculously able to raise 1m cause when I suggested Canada to my parents they said no. So before I started, a friend gave me an agents number which I called and he said I can't get admission for masters with my 2.2 and that even if I apply for pgd I have 20% chance of getting visa, I later went home and prayed and I applied and I got admission into 2 schools in Canada and chose Memorial and I paid part of my tuition which was also above the initial deposit and I wrote my ielts, which I just prepared for 3 days and I passed. So after all this I started thinking of where will I get statements since my parents are refusing to sponsor or help in anyway, then I spoke with ese and she told me to pray and have faith, although I contacted some people who were telling me to pay 500k, 400k for statements of just 10m. So I finally decided to go back and ask my parents with the help of my sister and Glory be to God my parents agreed and gave me statements of 15m which was more than what other were offering for 500k. Luckily for me I was able to submit my application this morning by 3am. I Just want to Say Thank you so much y'all for encouraging everyone and also advising everyone. I'm grateful, for those yet to apply and still in process, commit everything to God and he will do it. Peace Congratulations on this and get ready to come back with another testimony of PPR. |

mazeb: What if you used Abuja for your 1st application that was rejected and you are now using Abuja for PPR for a 2nd application that has been approved.
do you still pay transmission fee ? I THINK transmission fee will still be paid. I stand to be corrected as I am not sure of this. |

Esekaris1: Yes it does thank you. But I don't have the biometric acknowledgement slip, I submitted to vfs Lagos with my first application. Would paying the transmission fee suffice?
How much is the fee again? Please see attached. Confirm before you go ahead please. Also I think the transmission fee takes care of the slip.

Esekaris1: PPR just dropped.
2nd application,
My story is a unique one, aside from the rejection reason of Purpose of visit and family ties
I was diagnosed of tuberculosis, when I went for medicals at iom, I had to go to the hospital everyday for 8 solid months to take drugs.
In all, God is faithful
Applied again 7th October,
Got NSE REQUEST 26th November
Submitted NSE 8th December
But I submitted 6 months my bankstatement instead of 12 months. Was scared, LoL
But thank God and thank everyone here esp Hon Frank, This place is family.
Please how do go about to send it to vfs Abuja, no time to waste, school has started And for the consent form, it can be filled with biro right? Big congratulations to you. Wishing you all the best as you forge ahead. Hope this helps with your question

senator77: Good morning my people, kindly help clarify the following: 1. Is IELTS now compulsory for study permit application regardless of some schools waving it if previous education was in English? 2. I have BSc Engrg, professional masters in Engrg managmt with 12yrs work experiencein Supply chain & proposing to study Supply chain managmt- PGCert. In canada college. Will the masters pose any issue or i Should not declare it? 3. Which route would favour my situation- NSE or normal route of visa application? 4. Age is 40+, does this pose any issue ? Please help respond to this 1. IELTS is not compulsory. It is only required if you want your study permit application to be processed via the NSE route. 3. Any route you decide to go for is okay. The most important thing is to make sure your application is properly packaged. 4. Your age does not pose any issues. Just make sure your application is tight and okay. 2. For this, you need to be sure that what you put forward is true and it shows progression. If you already have a masters and you are going for PG cert. That will be an issue. Just be sure that you can adequately explain and provide a clear line of progression. (I think you should also wait for the gurus to add more to this number 2. |

Celoexpress: Thank you Otunba.
Please do you have an idea through your process or others from his group how long it takes for final approval once you are told your eligibility review has started and background check cause I see some people mention the time theirs started. How do they know if it has and how long does it take before one gets an answer once those 2 start? I don’t think anyone can expressly state what time it takes to move from one stage to the other. The eligibility review and background check are just milestones in the application process. I think it is basically a waiting game. Some applications have been treated faster than others. We all wait to get good news at the end of the day. It will end in praise for us all. |

I am sure she should be able to access that through her student account on the school portal. (My thinking). |

I also had a high BP when I did mine cuz I was on treatment then but I passed my medicals so I don't think it would affect it. @foje, attached is the addresses that were sent by @popoolam.

Mildred01: My sister got her covid 19 test yesterday .. is that not valid? What is Enrollment letter and LOI please Thanks I am sure it will be valid. The date I put there is based on the announcement by the Canadian govt that everyone landing in Canada must do a test. Enrollment letter is a letter you get from your school as evidence that you a registered student for the semester you are going to resume for. You will be able to get this from your school portal or you send a mail to them. LOI is the letter of introduction that you will need to provide to the officers at the POE. This is usually sent to your CIC account after your approval. |
