Hey man. Can you repair this (see photo attached)? If yes, how much?

Both parent lie a lot. Lies that are so annoying and wondering why they do it.

My mum. I wanted to attend an interview and needed money for transport. She had a lot of money on her but wasn't willing to give me the transport saying I should go ask my dad and she knew my dad didnt have the money then. She wanted to use the money to show off at a party. You can imagine. She chose show off over my future.

I borrowed money from a friend, went for the interview and I got the job and I've left the house. Anytime I remember this, I'm just always sad. Why would a mother do this.
