I guess you can only see that option when you select payment by Bank Account. You have to select payment using debit/credit card and you will use your master/visa atm information.

faithman2020: my bros it very easy,just like you have been using ur ATM.I just use the machine with my card and I was not charged for any foriegn transaction. you re only charged if you re using different debit card with the machine. it will tell you your dollar equivalent of your a\c even the exchange was like 160 to $1 I just left $10 in the a\c. And you can open an account with your Nigeria passport right before your SSN arrive as they promise to update when the SSN comes out.

GTB charges me 1000naira per transaction. They re charging me INTEREST CAPITALISED every month end because i didn't withdraw more than four times from my account in a month. I was unable to open a chase bank account without SSN.

faithman2020: Forumite should know that you dont have to carry physical cash as your ATM debit card works here. you collect your money in dollar denomination from your naira account with your bank account in any nigeria bank.you will not be charge any fee if you collect it from the same issuer.you will be charge $2.50 if you cash from a different issuer.i.e.skye bank mastercard to visa machine.

Its better you withdraw all your money from Nigeria bank, change it to dollars and bring it to America. After you get your SSN in a week, open an account and deposit it. When Nigeria bank see you re withdrawing from aboard. They will start charging you for some crazy fee per transaction. The exchange rate is too much. You cant complain physically. Its just good to bring your Nigeria ATM to receive money from Nigeria.

This is @Leripa reporting live and direct from New Jersey. Our flight from Lagos via Dubai to New York was a smooth and a fun-filled one. We departed Lagos on 25th Sept., via Emirates, had a few minutes stop over in Dubai and finally left for New York. It was a smooth experience especially with the feelings that you are travelling on an A380-800 airbus....lolz
So far so good, it's been nice and cool since we got here. I have been busy with settling down completely and some other stuffs and i must say that the experience has been very good and stress-free.
However, America is truly a land of opportunities if you have access to the right information at the right time and you are with the right people. It is my prayer that it shall be well with us all and we'll never regret our sojourn here in the name of Jesus.

Yes, you can get financial aid to do Master but you need a stable job first.

I had a nice time in Dubai with a naija flight mate who made arrangement for an helicopter trip around Dubai, Note: we had an hotel reservation in Dubai. I trickily decline the offer since I be JJC. He made the trip alone though. I leta realize the man is a naija American citizen, we both land in Washington yesterday. rules they work wela for here o. na GPS direct us (my host and I) from Washington to Maryland.

Don't carry any liquid item. When going to the airport, dress casual and hold a jacket or sweater incase it get cold where you stopover. Bring in hard wears from Nigeria because they re expensive here. You can bring in any kind of food. Fried meat, fish, garri, stock fish, and many other but there is no African foods that you cant buy here too. Get to the airport at least an hr or two to check in your baggage. Nothing really inside the plane. You will choose the food & drinks you want from a list. Beer & Vodka too is also on the list LOL. Some people will sleep till the plane land. Nothing to worry about at the POE. You will fill in the Custom border form before you land at the airport. You will have to declare how much you re bringing into the country, what kind of food stuff you have and if you have anything you bring in to sell. After you submit the form to the Custom officer and your passport, you will be send to another custom officer that will collect your brown envelope and admit you in the UNITED STATE OF AMERICA.

vry sad experience ,what u were expectd to 1st do is to go to d airline or snd smone to change the date on ur flight ticket though it ll only cost u 100 dollars and xplain to dem that it was stolen and regards to d passport and visa u ll need a police report b4 u can go to the US embassy they ll only block the stolen visa and issue u a new one on a new passport. Plz neva u drag anything wth robbers it is vry dangerous ur life is more important dan the visa or ticket what if in d process ur enemy was killd, when there is life there is HOPE. wish u gd luck

tolubillion: Those coming to texas be prepare for rules becos is someow here u can apply for leaners permit/driver licences/state I'd without spending 30days of resident in texas and all dis we disturb u from getting a job renting an apartment for urself.the social security arrive within 1week which is fine but all those listed above if u don't have it forget abt good job unless ur house is closer to ur working place if they will allow d person to wrk without the above listed.u can't get apartment here until u have a payment check state I'd.make sure u bring money atleast that will keep u for that 30days

Not only in Texas. Every state, You will apply for your State ID/DL with your green card and social security. You will be getting the green card in 6weeks.

My brother why do you want to know the problem? Either big or small. Problem is problem. Its better if you leave Nigeria before your medical expires. Its may cause deportation at the POE. It may require you to do another medical over there and will cost almost $2000.
