Oh bloody shit! Thank God you are alive. You have to contact the embassy ASAP and let us know their feedback. I really pity you. This is a big lesson for everyone on this forum and still in Nigeria. We have advise ourselves long time ago on this forum that after you collect your documents and passport, you can deposit it at the bank for safety reasons. I don't know how that works. Me after i collect my document, I kept it under the bed of someone i really trust which is over 80miles to my house. He knew about it. You don't have to tell everybody you won a visa lottery. When i won, I only told my mom, my brother and the person who kept the document for me. Just three people. I live together with my friends. I told none of them, we played the lottery together and i was the only one that won. For more than a year, I kept it a secret. I told my GF of 3yrs about it after i got my ticket and traveling in two weeks. Is not that i don't trust her. Its just better to be on the safer side. I told only a friend a day to my departure date. Only my GF & my brother escort me to the airport. NOW IM HERE. #TEAMNONOISE. I doubt those robber's came for money. They came for the documents. Someone don't want you to travel. I just hope the embassy can help you. GOODLUCK.

The medical expire in 6months.. You have to travel before it expire or else you are in problem.

(Online- with about $200 I can get a flight from

Im a blackberry user too. You can use simple mobile its $40 per month but i use T.Mobile $50 per month. I use Simple mobile when i first got here but their signal is not strong like T.Mobile so i switch. If you want to call Nigeria, I use www.raza.com always got like more than 100mins for just $5.

Fortsucc: Here is my experience. I was the primary applicant why my husband was the beneficiary no child yet. Our interview was on the 13th of Sept. Which we were reschedule to on the 16th of sept. This time around it was black that interviewed us, I was called to window 8 which is a room and I was interview first for about one hour. I was told to call my spouse and he was interview in the same room for about Ten minute why I stay outside, he later came out and told me that they said we should stay outside till they call us again. It was like ten minutes later when they called us at the window,they now gave us a refusal letter which it was written attempted human smugling. And of which it was my husband surname that was written on my NYSC certificate, so they now said it was a forge and they didn't give me my original document back, so we accepted it like that. When it was on the 18th of Sept around 1:00pm a number called me and the was from embassy asking us to come back on Monday with my parent and spouse parent's picture which we took along with us on Monday,so they have done some verification on my NYSC certificate which they now confirm that I was truely married to him and that the document was not forged, it was also the same window 8 that I was interview again for about 30 minutes during the interview they went into our facebook account with out asking of our user name and our password that surprise me a lot, so they also interview my spouse again. We were told to go out, we sat for about 10minutes they called us back and they said congratulation,welcome to America and they collected our passports that we should come and collect our visa in a week time. That was my experience to cut the whole story short. It was victory at last, I really thank God for making it a success.

I mean since you have done your e-passport with the wrong date of birth that your friend use to play for you. You have to stick to that date of birth.

Ü be lapping the baby but u will be put in a seat where u can put baby to sleep in a baby cot or basket. Babies are allowed one luggage and one hand bag . Google any airline site for this info as they are all the same.cheers

Since you said you have done an e-passport with the wrong details your friend use. So you got no problem. You have to stick to the DOB then.

Yea, same address & same location. The old name is Eleke crescent before changed to Walter Carrington to honor the U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria(1993–1997)

Student loan such as financial aids or federal grants like pell grant doesn't affect. Like i was told by my host. Those that feed on food stamps re disable or on drugs so they cant get a good job. Benefiting on those program will spoil your credit records, you won't be able to benefit on some advance program.

Although, we are still settling down, waiting for our green card; but I thank God that our social security number landed within 1 week. Settling down is slow and gradual. We came in through Turkish airlines with a 7 hours stop over at Istanbul and landed at the Washington Dulles International Airport. We were told by our host that we could apply for free meal and health insurance for our kid(s) via www.pwcs.menus.schoolfusion.us\. We are yet to secure employment, since we are still settling down.
Could someone please help answer this question:
Is there any future negative implication of taking this opportunity of this "free free things"? e.g. someone said, when applying for citizenship or loans or some other benefits, one may be denied because of this initial benefits. How true is this? Although, the person who told me said that that is how it works in U.K.?

Brother, Welcome to America. Please don't apply for any free meal from the government or the community. Its always affect in future like you re told. Don't apply for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), & Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly Food Stamps).

No, The Affidavit will be stated on the NPC certificate including the name of the court & the date of the declaration.

Is the Affidavit of declaration of age attached to it? If NO. You have to get another one attached with the affidavit.

chio: I have on experience i want to share and dont know whether i have experinced it to.
My host doing is PHd in a college here in New york so instead of staying @home we go out together using the train
on getting to the school his signs me in (i show my int.passport and then they give me a pass)to use the School library.
so before i enter the computer Library the receptionist sees my pass which i pasted on my breastpocket and now opens the door for me to enter the library.
This i have done for like 2days.
So on the 3rd day afta getting a pass as i normally do i now went to the receptionist (The receptionist there that day was a black guy) to open the library door for me to enta the library,the guy was looking and my pass and reading everything there he said my pass was reading Physis astronomy that i may have to go dowm and get a pass for the Library.I was supried i told him i have been using the Library for the past 2days and this was the only pass i was using. he refused.
So i had to trace my host Laboratory(i have nt gotten a fone yet) and told him what the guy said.He was suprised and said that we blacks sometimes we overdo things.
so we went back to me him and he told him that he was a staff there there (Showed him his ID) and there was no extra pass needed,for me to use the library.so he let me and my host went back.
so dats what happened whats your say on this
