thesicilian: If you are going to come to a date with another friend, at least be civilized enough to let your partner know beforehand.
And for the guy, even if you don't have enough money, a bottle of coke should not be too much for her friend. Then you can reprimand the girl later if you feel she crossed the line. Different procedures for different classes of people. For that guy's class and the class of the invited and uninvited, the reaction is apt. |

I see pity.
Seems like Osibande was a loyal slave to the core and Buhari had the intention of gratifying him by crowning him with the GCFR crown. Tinubu was a wild variable that they didn't completely exterminate and at this point, it's too late for OSI.
That's that kind of look. |
Politics › Re: PETER OBI:I Donate This Bus For Peter Obi Campaign by zabimaru: 3:25pm On Jun 22, 2022 |
If and when Peter Obi wins this election (I am hoping, praying and voting for him), fixing this country means the other "Rulers" have intentionally been dragging the country backwards.
He'll have a lot of people problems to deal with where people will intentionally be sabotaging his every effort in an attempt to save the previous government's face.
People problems are the hardest to deal.
Wrong products, wrong policies, wrong processes and right people will find a way to make it work. If it cannot work, they'll come back to the leader with Germaine points.
Right Products et all with the wrong set of individuals and I can easily tell y'all for free, they'll find an excuse to continue dragging us underground.
Peter Obi should start devising means of handling people and adopt a very strict consequence management approach. It's not about what he plans to do, or how he intends to go about it, it's majorly about who he intends to work with to achieve all that. |

dru23: When looking for parts, it is in ur best interest to go by parts number. You try and match part number from whatever part u want to replace........ You need to go back to few pages . to understand what am saying....
Now few years ago . A Nigerian Hyundai Tuscon 2011 0r 2012 can't recall the exact year. The Tucson was bought brand new from Dana Motors. The a/c compressor was bad and needed replacement.
Keep in mind the Dana tuscon is a different engine from the USA spec .. So I was able to match the parts number from the Dana Nigerian Tucson to the USA parts.. It was the exact number.........
During installation the USA spec could not fit exactly in the engine bay area . it was by an inch or so and it was too tight tob sit in the engine bay area . so the mechanic was able to construct a small space for it to fit.. And the a/c worked ...
My theory here is because the Dana Tucson engine size is much smaller than the USA .. So it was an issue of having enough space. Again both a/c compressor have the same part number.......
So now am trying to prevent the same issue from happening to the 2017 accent....
Again young man, when looking for parts you don't by the compatibility bullshit.. You take the old part number that needs replacment and match it with the new replacement . this method will leave no room for errors ........ I actually learnt something here Dru, you are on drugs |

buygala: Don't let them bully you Bro
Simple question you should have asked them is after considering, all the JDM, EDM, KDM, even BDSM bullshit, ceteris paribus, will a Hyundai bought brand new in Nigeria and made for the Nigerian market be of better quality than a US spec of same model?
All the plenty ranting, tell them to choose between a Nigerian used Dana Hyundai and a Nigerian used US spec Hyundai and watch them shamelessly go for the US spec... For them a car being bought brand new in Nigeria is a reason to gutter bargain a Nigerian used vehicle..even if it's working optimally
Many of them run away from buying even Hondas bought brand new in Nigeria as if it has leprosy....Talkless of Hyundai
If Op can't find a lasting solution for his Car AC, he should kuku wind down when driving and enjoy the free fresh air that God gives.. That one no dey burn compressor .. Only Major problem he might have is that driving without ac to defrost his windshield when it's raining will be very stressful Don't talk to Dru like he's some immature baby that doesn't know his onions. He knows that Dana makes JDM and that's enough knowledge for the discussion. If the op has issues with fixing his car up to spec, Dru has the capacity and capability to replace the entire car and not just the compressor FOC. For what it's worth, Dru is the bully here seeing that he has enough money, enough cars, enough drivers, enough debts, enough substance, enough disgruntled staff and enough oil to go round and he's rubbing it in people's faces. Dru, you can have the floor now but remember, today is Friday, take everything in moderation (including that powder). |

dru23: Below is the USA version..... The part number is very clear (pic) 1.......
Yours pic (2) ..... It is not very clear at all .. Try and match the exact part number to (pic 1)
Since yours is not USA spec .. The USA spec might not sit up well in the engine base ... The space might be too tight to sit .......
Like I said early on with a Hyundai Tucson that was bought brand new in Nigeria .... We were able to get a USA spec ... But when it was time to replace with the Nigerian bought Tucson , the space was too tight and the mechanic had to construct a space for it .. It worked well ..........
If you are willing to do it and give it a try . I can get it shipped for you under 200k ... I will be loading again in two weeks time ........ Honestly, this job ain't for you. Where is the part number location on the compressor in pic1? After sniffing stuff you think the whole world revolves around your high yellow a*s**s and you can dabble into any profession and do well?

dru23: USA spec cars has better safety features... And yes have heard of them ..... I believe the JDM engine are the ones more than likely are sold by Dana Motors......
Now the reliability of the USA spec engine is actually above average.. What else do u want from a car , plus safety is included ..............
Most of these Hyundai sold by Dana Motors in Nigeria will not pass the USA safety test..
Now back to the guy looking for a compressor .. If I decide to get him a a/c compressor brand new from the USA . chances are it might not be compatible or fit properly with his 1.4liter engine .....
Now from experience few years ago .. A customer requested for an a/c compressor for her 2014 hyundai Tucson .. She bought the car brand new in Nigeria from Dana Motors......... We had to match the compressor part number to the ones in the USA.. Once the part was ordered the only issue was that the compressor could nit fit properly .. A mechanic had to construct additional space for the compressor to fit properly.........
Keep in mind same car , same year, but different engine Hahahahahahaha, Bro, you naive AF. Thought it was just a glitch |

I'd suggest you go with the OEM rebuild (option 1) if money is not a problem. If money is, then go with the 3rd suggestion by Gazzuz. |

dru23: Expensive how? It is 2017 model, when you compare it to other cars in the same category , it is not expensive that that the owner will have to junk the car ........
If the car is well maintain and all the necessary fluids are used the engine and transmission will last a long time ... That will be is least of his problems ......
Now the compressor is talking about I can get a brand new OEM at the same price range of a Toyota Corolla of the same year.. Funny enough it might be a bit cheaper...... But I no longer take special orders from customers anymore..... And I was not trying to compare my Elantra 2007 to the 2017 accent ....... What am saying is Hyundai engine are generally very strong...
my point is if the engine is maintain , you will not have to worry about engine cost .. That will be the least of the owner's problem....
We can't verify who u are truly .. We don't know what experience you have in Auto business, we don't even know if you have a car.. We can't verify your resume or even contact you
We don't know nothing about u. For all we know u could be a 13year old boy trolling the forum .. So it will be hard to take you serious ......
In my case people can look up my resume and see all the work have done and contribution have made. People have contacted me .......but we can't say the same for you
Below is a 2013 Hyundai that was a closed deal ....i talk the talk and walk the walk ..........my experience speaks for itself For an adult, you type like you have serious issues with your mental health. I'm hoping you talk different. There's already a discussion train and someone made a statement as to the cost of the engine in relation to the required maintenance levels. This statement required no validation whatsoever or criticism but out of the blues, you pop out as usual with seemingly useless points to invalidate the statement; your major point being you used an earlier version of the same car and the engine was inexpensive. Any sane person will see that there's a major problem with your thought process, you don't even need psychiatric evaluation, you have a problem. It's not about being an adult or arriving or going far in life, it's about how much of a problem you can pose to the society if your situation degenerates beyond redemption. Now look at this your statement about Compressor, review and revalidate how and where this is required in your rebuttal to my post. If by now you don't know you have a problem, then you are unsalvageable and irredeemable. |

Please, I'll need suggestions regarding the first car to buy as a new driver. I want something that is easy to maintain and has parts readily available. As a new driver, I don't want to go for something too big in size as I don't want anyone to scratch the car. My max budget is 4.5million.
