The significance of a political party in Nigerian elections cannot be overemphasized.
It’s not about the candidate that made LP lost Delta State last guber poll.
Ken Pela was the most popular person in Labour Party at the time, so without question, he was the best gubernatorial candidate.
Ovie Omo-Agege is far more popular than
Sheriff Oborevwori in Delta State, but what happened last last?
The power of political party is very potent in Nigeria. Peter Obi was the first person to individually shake it to the foundations.

Apart from APC profiting from it,it is good for Lp long-term. Lp is getting stronger,consolidating it's strongholds,expanding its support base and making Nigeria a three party/multi democracy. Lp contesting every position means they get stronger but if they start endorsing or stepping down for others,they get weaker and the electorates won't take them serious in future. They will be another apga.

At least LP is very strong in Edo south.they can use the next 4 years to expand in the central and then Edo north just like obi is spreading his influence in core north.one step at a time

There’s no long term for LP and the party is not getting any stronger.
Any tangible recognition that LP has is because of Peter Obi.

I mean LP conveniently won Edo and Delta State in Presidency. One should expect them to produce the next Governors in those states, but that’s a pipe dream. In Delta guber poll, they finished behind 4 parties.

bro it all depends on a lot of thing.... lets say for example:
- if armed robbers came to my home and asked me to choose between killing my wife or my mother, my mother will stand and say "TAKE ME" before i can even answer the armed robber. my mother has lived a wonderful long life and she would be selfish to even think of having anyone else take that bullet. exact same thing that I would do if in the future, armed robber asked the same question to my daughter, to choose between me and her husband,
- if it comes to raising children, my mother has more experience in such matter therefore her words will come before my woman who is a new mother.
- anything that has to do with my home, then my woman come first. my mother has her own home where she can make her own rules.
- if my mother and woman were arguing about who sits in the car next to me, i would send them both on the backseat to sort their differences while i will have my son sit next to me.
- if i was on a crashing plane and there was only 2 parachutes and it was 3 of us, my mother would hand me and my woman the 2 parachutes and push us away (she wouldnt take the parachute even if i'd force her to do so).
AGAIN, motherly love is different than the love for a spouse. some days of the week the priority is family, and other days the priority is wifey/kids. none of them have a priority over the other, they both have their place in my life thus why i do not have to choose one or the other.

APC are the happiest people with LP around. Tinubu is president because of Labour Party.
PDP couldn’t win those usual states that they use to win in presidency because of LP.

All the Eastern states that would’ve voted for PDP, all wasted their votes for LP.
