Since the 2nd world war, world politics have witnessed influx of military official in main stream politics. Alas one might think that every country needs a president who can call the shot and have total military control at the highest level.

In Africa, countries like Algeria,Botswana, Congo DR,Egypt,Eritrea,Gambia,Mauritania,Nigeria, Rwanda,Sudan,Tanzania all boast of president with military background.

In America, 10 out of the last 12 president have served in the military. Although one might argue that those period witness intense military actions around the world, from the 2nd world war, to the Vietnamese War and The cold war with USSR, One wouldnt think twice to elect these military brass as president!.

In the past 6 decades, President Obama and Bill clinton are the only civilian president that have graced the oval office. Can America Afford another ?

Skeptics believe that President Obama inexperience in the military have flawed his major effort in security intervention mainly in the Arab spring. The front runners at the 2016 election in both Democrat and Republican party have no military experience.
One could also argue that American president with military background will further plunge the country into unreasonable wars and military interventions around the globe. Literally ,the world needs peace

A millionaire property developer has been cleared of raping a teenager after claiming he accidently tripped and fell on her.

Ehsan Abdulaziz, 46, was accused of forcing himself on an 18 year-old-girl who had slept on his sofa in his Maida Vale flat after a night out drinking.

The businessman had already had sex with the teenager’s 24-year-old friend, whom he already knew, in the bedroom and said his penis might have been poking out of his underwear when he fell on the teen.

The young woman said she had woken up in the early hours of the morning, with Mr Abdulaziz on top of her, forcing himself inside her.

He claimed he had gone to see if the young woman wanted a t-shirt to sleep in, or a taxi home. But he said she pulled him on top of her and placed his hand between her legs.

His semen and DNA was found inside the young woman, but he said it was possible he had semen on his hands from having sex with the 24-year-old earlier.

In the evidence, Mr Abdulaziz showed how the girl had put her hand behind his head to pull him towards her, which is how he says he fell.

He said: “I’m fragile, I fell down but nothing ever happened, between me and this girl nothing ever happened.”

A royal court announcement this morning said the king is reviewing the report of the Accident Investigation Committee, which suggested negligence on the part of the Saudi Binladin Group, but concluded that it found an “absence of criminal suspicion.”
The report said “the main reason for the accident is the strong winds while the crane was in a wrong position.”
Some 111 people were killed and 331 injured when the giant crane being used in the expansion project at the Grand Mosque toppled and crashed into a portion of the mataf (circumambulation area) around the holy Kaaba on Sept. 11.
Pending completion of the investigation, all members of the Board of Directors of Binladin Group, as well as Bakr bin Mohammed bin Ladin and senior executives in the group and others connected with the project are banned from leaving the kingdom, said the royal court order.

King Salman also ordered the payment of the following to the families of the victims:

1. SR1,000,000 to the family of each person killed in this accident;

2. SR1,000,000 to each injured whose injury resulted in permanent disability;

3. SR500,000 to each of the other injured.

According to SPA, such payment would not deprive the families of the deceased as well as the injured from the right to claim for private right before the competent judicial authorities.

The king also issued directives to host two family members of the deceased as the king’s guests to perform Haj next year.

“The injured who cannot perform Haj this year can perform Hajjnext year as the king’s guests. The families of the injured who stay in hospitals for treatment shall be granted visit visas to take care of the injured during the remaining period of Hajj and return back to their country,” the royal court said.

UK,Germany,Hungary,France,Italy e.t.c finally gave in to pressure as the are set to accept 200,000 refugees. Although Turkey and Lebanon already have over 3 million refugees, thousands still dies at sea daily in their attempt to leave the country.
Generally, there are concerns about Wealthy countries in the middle-east like UAE,Malaysia,Kuwait and Saudi Arabia for their refusal in accepting those refugees.
The war in Syria is literally as a result of President Bashar Assad refusal to step down and the ravaging ISIS operation in the country, although countries like Iran and Russia still supports the unpopular regime.
Real Madrid,Porto,PSG,Bayern Munich,Werder Bremen are also appreciated on their Financial aids for the Syrian Refugee
and to UEFA for donating €1 in every ticket sold in this years Champions League and Europa League.
Thousands of people die on the sea daily and Millions are already homeless or have lost a person to the war.
This should also be a reminder for us all to be thankful of whatever situations we meet ourselves
