Peter Obi needs to back up his manifesto of 'From Consumption to Production' with track records. As I understand it, he was engaged mostly in trading and importation businesses most of his life. Apart from the brewery business, which other manufacturing concerns or initiatives has he championed? The list to look out for includes but not limited to Port development, Refineries, Car manufacturing/assembly plants, agro allied industries (local agric production, extension services, mechanised farming, storage, processing, bagging, export), petrochemical/fertilizer plants, airports and a host of other businesses that are Nigerian based, employ thousands and depend less on forex? These are the things that will convince me of the seriousness of that agenda beyond the rhetorics. If no prior experience, then his manifesto needs to detail out HOW he intends to conceive ideas, fund them and attract a crack team to help him deliver. Time to go beyond sloganeering.

By the way, the same goes for other candidates.

Go to Anambra, especially Nnewi and see the manufacturing industries thriving there. Innoson is one of them that has gone global.

Compare IGR, budgetry allocation between both states, and see that Peter Obi did better with small allocation and IGR.

Igbos boted for PDP, which is their party till date, and under which OBJ ran for presidency then. The Yorubas did not support OBJ then, we supported Falae under AD, and the Igbos did not vote for him.

As for me not voting for any Igbos, in this present political dispensation, no Igbo has ran for the presidency under any major political party until now. If there is any detribalised and competent Igbo candidate, I will surely vote for him.
