One of the oldest persons in Canada Esmond Allcock celebrated his 108th birthday.

​Esmond Allcock says the secret to living 108 years is to select the proper spouse.
CBC News quotes him as saying, "I didn't behave myself for a few years there, but then I got a really good wife," when asked how he managed to live a long and happy life.

His wife Helen passed away seven years ago after 72 years of marriage. He lived alone in the family home for a short time and then decided to move into the Kerrobert Health Centre.

According to his son, Allcock has lived in Kerrobert, which is located about 200 kilometres southwest of Saskatoon, for 100 years and worked as a farmer before retiring in 1975.

He has 67 living relatives which includes 38 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Sex is supposed to be a pleasurable experience between couples. However there are some factors which can inhibit this. They include:

* Dirty underwears. This can be a big turn off whether on the part of the man or the woman.

* Dirty body or body odour

* Too hard about it. This concerns mostly the male. Some do it as if there will be a prize for being so hard.

* Quick release or taking too long to release can also put one off

* If one of the couple is not 'responding' or is acting like a 'log of wood' this can be an inhibition.

* Sleeping off immediately after the act is not good enough.

* It is a bad act to compare your partner with a previous lover or another person.

* Failure to understand the mood or the desire of the other partner

* Some are boastful about the act. This is not a 'conquest' thing.

* Some are too conservative about sex. Some see it as if it is a sin or a taboo. As long as it is between couples that are legally bound to do so, then enjoy the ride.
