In my opinion, the teacher didn't mean it in a racist way, she just lacked emotional intelligence. Since it's a funny version, she could even have sang it to a white kid because she isn't very smart and wanted the kids to laugh out.
Unfortunately for her, in a situation like that, people will not take excuses. In America, you have to be careful. People are allowed to sue for just about anything. |

Women have taken over everything now. The drive was to empower women, they are now empowered, while the men have taken a back seat.
In a few years to come, the new agenda will be to empower men, because men will be marginalised very soon. |

Nothing new here. Nigeria is not a serious country.
A country that felicitate with outsiders when there is a tragedy and ignores it's own.
A country that abandons it's hero's and rewards sports people with millions.
A country where runs girls make more money than hard working people.
A country where the president takes treatment abroad while neglecting our hospitals. |

Donald3d: Your shift solenoid connector might be disconnected, or damaged, most likely the AB shift solenoid . The solenoid might also be bad. Fuel pump was changed. All had been well since then. Probably low pressure from the pump which couldn't supply enough fuel to move the car. |
Politics › Re: Porous Borders, Insufficient Patrols: Police Can’t End VIP Protection – IGP by zed7: 9:21am On Sep 12, 2025 |
I understand that in a country like Nigeria, some people need special protection, because of their status. i know that someone like Otedola, Dangote and other top CEO's will need protection.
What I have a problem with is the police protecting drug dealers, fraudsters and all other shady characters that have money. In Nigeria, when you can afford a Hilux and a Prado, you can afford police protection, even if you are a criminal. |

People assume hook up is only olosho work. Thats not what the article means. It simply says, people are prioritising casual relationships, both men and women.
Simply put, no strings attached relationships, because they're scared of committing and do not want to put in the work required in a stable, committed relationship. |

zed7: 2014 crv was driven and parked. After an hour, it was started, but started jerking and wouldn't move forward, only moves to reverse. It jerks continuously then stops. Prior to this, the only thing I noticed was slight hesitation when going from gear 1 to 2.
Thankfully, the issue happed at home. I can't seem to find anyone with the same issues online.
Anyone with similar experience or knows what the issue is? I would have suspected transmission issues but the car is vibrating on start, even without engaging gears. Started the car this morning and all is well. It's acting like nothing ever went wrong. It may be difficult for a mechanic to diagnose, now that it isn't acting funny. |

ManAdii: Is it jerking while idling or while you're trying to accelerate? On starting, can't even drive. Gear engages but stutters and wouldn't move. I'm suspecting fuel pump issues or any other electrical issues, but seriously hoping it isn't a transmission issue. |

greygoblings: There is no cure. Dialysis is not a cure, transplant is not a cure, having a better diet and watching BP and Blood Sugar levels will not cure the condition. The condition can only be managed but not cured. I am a doctor and a transplant recipient, so I know what i am saying here. Transplant of a healthy kidney isn't a cure? How so?. I know someone who had a transplant and is perfectly fine, though remains on medication for compatibility issues. |

Christianity Etc › Re: When Benson Idahosa Stopped Witches Conference, Human Sacrifice (Throwback) by zed7: 10:48am On Aug 17, 2025 |
Dogalmighty17: Few people know the story of the encounter Dangote had with Benson Idahosa.
Over 30 years ago when T.L Osbourne and his wife Daisy visited Idahosa and needed to return, the plane back to the US was already full and another will not be available readily. Idahosa walked into the aircraft and requested that a couple of people give up their seats for his guests. No one readily obliged. Idahosa repeated his request and then a young Dangote with his assistant stood up and made to give up their seats. They were the only Muslims on the plane.
Idahosa then stopped Dangote and asked him his names and what he does. Dangote casually mentioned that he is a business man and a trader. There and then, Idahosa prophesied the men will stand up for Dangote worldwide and that his business will grow beyond the shores of Africa. Dangote really didn't think much of it.
As T.L Osbourne and his wife then entered the plane to take up the seats Dangote had left, Idahosa then prayed for everyone on the plane and they all shouted amen. Idahosa found it ridiculous that all the Christians on the plane refused to give up their seats but the only two Muslims did. He then enjoined them to watch his program that comes up every Sunday evening on television and then deboarded the airplane.
Idahosa is long gone but God has fulfilled his word. The world knows Dangote today. None of the Christians on that flight are remembered today.
The debate may be held if Idahosa's prophecy really helped make Dangote who he is today. Dangote himself narrates that story on occasion. But it must not be forgotten that Dangote remains a very avid reader and pursuer of knowledge. By 4:30am most mornings, he is already up and planning for his day. He pays keen attention to details and stays up to date with every information relevant to his field. A hard worker to the core.
Prophesies may help but nothing beats dedication, excellence and commitment to work. Read what you read aloud, how does it sound? This is not 1950. Perhaps, it will be believed if we hear Dangote narrate this story on video. |

The female nature is to be naturally deluded. Haven't you seen the confidence some not good looking girls have? Lot's of girls grew up being called princess, the delusion followed them to adulthood.
I've seen old women who feel they can get a hot, looking, wealthy young man. For most women, by the time reality sets in, it is usually too late. |
