F4 is flying. Jumped 1 year in the Nov bulletin.

Like the description says, we gen X do not complain. That fits my own description, complain less and get the work done.

I don't know who keeps pushing your ridiculous stories to the front page, bothering us with unsolicited opinions.

Not necessarily afraid, everyone is maintaining his lane due to broke shaming. In the process of broke shaming, they're getting less and less men approaching.

I think it's not necessarily a Nigerian problem, its a global problem.

Modernity has totally changed the dynamics of dating. More and more people are getting older without having partners.

Women earn like men now and that has skewed the dynamics. A woman doesn't look for a man when she has money, she looks to upgrade her wardrobe, travel and generally enjoy life.
When a man makes money, he starts thinking of getting a woman and starting a family.
Unfortunately, there are less jobs for men now as people even prefer to give women jobs, therefore leaving more men unable to start a family and more women unable to get partners.

Another worrying fact now is the shaming of men who try to approach women. It's either they are called broke or creeps or something derogatory.
Most men have now lost the art of trying to 'toast' a woman. They prefer to stay on their own. Ironically, same women are now complaining of lack of attention from men.

The number of 35 years and above single men and women is alarming. There is a correlation between marrying at old age and the increase in children having developmental issues, something that was rare in the past.

Some people actually think that this may be an advantage as it will reduce the overpopulation in the world especially in Nigeria. Like all things, everything has it's advantage and disadvantages.

I delete all WhatsApp messages except family and those that I still need information from. I've done this as far back as WhatsApp came. I'm not hiding anything, I just hate clutter.

Until recently, i used to delete call logs at the end of everyday. These days, I wait till end of the month before deleting call logs. For me, it's not about hiding, I just hate unnecessary clutter. And yes, there is something also called digital minimalism.

For the dad, I wasn't really free. He was an old school tough dad but he was a great guy. Good provider but also very good at tongue lashing you.

For the mum, my really paddy. Could tell her anything.

Anyway, I like my strict upbringing. I'm proud of myself today. I also make sure my children have the same no nonsense upbringing but with some modification. They can tell me anything.

I miss my folks though, and thank God we took care of them very well while they were still alive.

The major causes of kidney issues remain unmanaged high blood pressure and diabetes.

Like the article also mentioned, people eat more than they need. Young people think eating nonsense is enjoyment. Ice cream, sharwama, soda, pizza etc should be more of a treat than an everyday thing.

People want to go on dates everyday and eat junk. Dating is now a means of poverty alleviation- eat the other parties money as much as possible.

Besides the USA system favors employers so if you have business mindset you can come in with business opportunities to explore. You can run a sole proprietorship model as a start.

I moved here in my forties and so did my former Boss.
Another colleague shuttled Nigeria and US for almost 10yrs and he's over 50.

My aunt did same, in fact it's COVID that made her get passport she's now in her 60s and would likely retire soon.

Actually it is literally abandoning my life. I know my age and accomplishments. In a decade I will be thinking of retirement.

Like everyone says, it's for the kids. They wouldn't forgive me if I don't take the opportunity,, as the country is becoming increasingly worse for the younger generation.

I'm not looking at the clock, actually I've not checked the bulletin this year, until yesterday when I saw it had jumped a mile. That brought back the long forgotten debate for me.

There has been an incredible movement of about 2 years in the September bulletin. Those of us with PD of 2013 are actually closer than ever imagined.

I hope it continues sha. I had already lost hope in this thing.

The question for me now is to go or not to go when the time comes, as I've achieved so much here already. I wasn't planning on it working out again.

Too many beasts in this country. Everything is centered around money, no morals, no values.

These days I'm less sympathetic towards people who suffer jungle justice. We have too many beasts in our midst.

As sad as it is to say, the money is gone. Use this as a lesson and move on.

Everybody is woke now and preaching healthy eating. The issue is not the carbs, it's the sedentary lifestyle.

Our ancestors ate all carbs and very little protein. Just a few years ago, protein was seen as a food for the rich. Children were given very little protein and they grew up fine.

Our problem now is that we have increased our carbs and reduced movement. The body was built to deal with glucose through movement. Limiting movement is what is causing us problems.

The solution is move more and enjoy your carbs if that's what you can afford.

What's the complaint about? You will definitely feel uncomfortable if your sister, wife or daughter gets touched unnecessarily by a man because women are weaker and more vulnerable and may not be able to defend themselves.

If a man gets touched, we believe he should be able to tell the woman to stop and then defend himself if she doesn't stop, because he's usually stronger.

Girls think grown men, especially working men are always looking for sex.

When you get to a stage in life, sex is not a priority, especially from just anybody.

This is why comfortable, well to do men easily treat women like dirt. Especially those that have nothing of substance to offer, because sex isn't a priority to them.

Normal social media lies. Even if this is true, the man is the definition of a goat for bringing this online. People like this wouldn't even clean up their aged, handicapped parent, they'll hire a nanny.

Everybody is better from outside. First all, you didn't marry your friend that's why you have nothing to talk about.

I live in the same city with my wife. While at work, I must call at least once a day to just gist or gossip, even though I'll still see her later in the evening. This is after almost 15 years of marriage.

By the way, the side chick's are usually sweeter until they become a wife.

Be thankful that at least, you and your wife are not quarreling and breaking each other's head. It could have been worse.

This is childish love. The people she wants you to stay away from are likely going to be more helpful and useful to you than her in a few months.

Marriage is not compulsory. It's better for some people to remain single than to mess up another person's life by being married to them.

Many horrible people have gotten married and made other innocent people's life miserable. Stay away from marriage if you have no value to bring to another person's life.

To each his own. She may get lucky and get her wish. She might also grow up and face reality.

Whatever the case, that's her headache. We have more pressing issues to worry about than what one nobody wants for herself.

Nature vs nurture. Nature usually wins. I know people whom I eat more than and they are fat with pot belly. I wish I could add some weight but I can't.

I believe that people can work on themselves through diet and exercise, but what I also know is that not everyone who is fat or has a pot belly is undisciplined.

If you're fat and have lots of will power, you can get a decent body. You may not be thin, but at least you will look presentable.

Good one, but an abnormal result should be taken seriously. It's when you know your patients medical history that you may discover that what seems abnormal is perfectly normal for that patient.

Hemoglobin levels may be low on the lab test, but for some patients, that low level is their steady state and the body functions properly with it, while some others may need a transfusion with those levels.
