I know believe the 80%/20% rule in No Excuse which says the rich get 80% of the wealth why the 20% goes to the poor the masses Don't mind them jare Reading through people's comment shows why majority are broke and will probably never get out of the rat race. |

ThisisIkemefuna: Tell me more. How can one go about it? Look for a bike mechanic around you or even an okada rider and tell him you need a second hand bike, they are usually the first to know when anyone wants to sell their bike. You should get a feedback in less than three weeks. If you have no knowledge of bikes I'll advice you to look for someone who does cos there are really bad bikes out there. Even if you have to pay them a stipend to help you inspect it. The person would be able to tell how much the bike is really worth, and most importantly save you from buying a bike that would be giving you troubles all the time. |

400billionman: Look at the people you are servicing or selling to.
You cannot be richer than your customer. If your customers are car owners, you will soon own a car. If your customers are trekkers, you will soon lose the car you already have.
Choose your customers wisely..
They are higher than you, they will pull you up.
They are lower than you, they will drag you down. Dunno where you got this idea from, but I disagree with the idea that servicing or selling to people who are lower than you means you'll go down too. That's like saying everyone who patronises an hotel is 'higher' than the owner, or everyone who patronises a beer parlour is higher than the owner, or every one who buys wizkid's music or attends his show is higher than him. How many of dangote, otedola, or adenuga's customer are higher than them?. |

LeoFish92: So I went to this shop in my new hood to cut my hair. I had gone 5 weeks without a haircut and was already looking like a Wild animal.
Met the young barber and my intuition rang the alarm bells: he looks like an apprentice!!
I ignored the warnings and sat on the swivel chair. I desperately needed a haircut!
Afro punk, I told him, and proceeded to instruct him on how I love it. Has to be bespoke!.
He nodded in affirmation, grabbed the clipper and gave me a shocker.....
When I saw his grasp of the clipper -- feeble and weak, and his strokes, lacking finesse and the dexterity of a professional barber -- I knew I was in for trouble.
15 mins later and he had already given me a hair cut I never knew existed.
He finished and I was still looking like a Wild Animal; a domesticated wild Animal.
He looked at me and I could see guilt written all over his face. He knows.
I wasn't mad at him. Baby steps he was taking. One day, he'll become a pro.
But will I go back to his shop? Not in this life. Being new in the neighbourhood, just look at your neighbours' head and ask anyone with decent haircut to show where they cut their hair. Apprentices are always eager to try new hair styles, even if they've never tried it. |
