SohSoh: A trip down memory lane::: Zendi was among the naysayers Are you here to gloat over so called recommendation success? Or are you here to, like other people, try and make money from stocks? If it is the latter, why not start loading the audio gold you're so bullish on into your own portfolio, instead of trying to impose your "recommendation" at gun point ? But if it is MH trophy you're after, be advised, it's already taken. Loco Hypes Ltd is in a class above you as the sky is high above the earth. Loco comes with authentic market intelligence (secret info) He comes with a luxury yacht. He brings a bull-ram for refreshment. You just keep printing junked stuff generated by AI chatbots programed by ppl that know nothing about NGX. Stop singing and gloating over MECURE. It was not you that listed it on the NGX. We were trading on it before you mktd it. Many other stocks appreciated equally or even more over the same period you're claiming credit for. Finally, if you're SpaceX as I suspect, I regret chatting with you. |

GeneralDae: What borrowings are you talking about? From what I see, Government actually reduced borrowing so far this year compared to last year. I will not name names here. I hear that one SE Governor who is himself strangling his people with draconian revenue schemes, advised the Topman to stop borrowing from abroad when the people are walking about with pockets full of money. Every indication is that the advice fell on happily receptive ears. The overly expanding tax net seems to lend support. |

KarlTom: The bolded is hilarious 😂
Do you really think those set of people he mentioned are not members of a church? (Note that a church is NOT the building but the people).
Are you saying it is wrong to organize seminars on s**x education, r@pe and the likes inside the church building OR doing so will make the 'faithfuls' meditate on it?
Like I said earlier [paraphrased], the church is a holy place where unholy people congregate... Marriage seminars for couples where even sex could be discussed I understand. But wholesale sex education for all comers; for marrieds, singles and minors........are you pastoring in Soddom? |

KarlTom: Actually I believe that the Tax man and the law are two parallel lines. The taxman has a duty to collect tax. The law has a duty to ensure that income is generated within the confines of the law.
PS: the church is not exclusively for holy people just like the hospital is not exclusively for healthy people...
Ther'er appropriate and inappropriate topics, times and places, in human conversations. Sensibilities and sensitivities need to be respected. Going into the Church to legitimize sin and provoke the faithfuls to meditate on sin is plain satanic. I am not preaching but sharing my thoughts and free speech. There is a thousand decent analogies the tax man could have used to explain his mission inside the Church. |

KarlTom: Dear Sir, if I may
For context, in all the cities I have lived in, there are well known brothe!s and s**x alleys YET the government has not shut them down/sealed those places.
I fully understand your perspective of the morality/legality of such services but is lady Justice [or/and the law] not turning a blind eye to the continued existence of such brothels?
In the context of tax, I believe Mr Taiwo was simply passing a message that IF you offer any service, your 'fees' will be taxed accordingly. I agree that the example he used might not be legally acceptable but... That man should have taken his sex tax messaging to those places you mentioned. Instead, he carried his evangelism of vulgarity into the church to offend the sensibilities of innocent people of faith. Which sexwork taxation is not even doable. How do you begin to follow men and women about to know when sex for money occurs? Satanic, kpakus flippancy, inside the Church of all places. Note : Kpakus is Nsempese. For the meaning, consult Street. |

It's a grave insult to taxpayers. But this thing cuts accross the entire public service, and not limited to Loc Govts, which I cited only as an example. Have you heard how an unknown person dumped $7M in the vault of a Lagos branch of Providus? Seven Million Dollars cash for God's sake, let me write it out in full. As at the last I heard, EFCC was still looking for the unknown looter, suspected to be a govt official. Meanwhile the loot has been seized by Govt Taxpayers have many reasons to be angry in this country. |

megawealth01: Don’t See Taxes As Punishment, FIRS Boss Tells Nigerians
https://tribuneonlineng.com/dont-see-taxes-as-punishment-firs-boss-tells-nigerians/ Hmm, this man is saying the saying of his office. When he is invited to make remarks on taxation, will he tell people that it's punishment? In nations of public sector transparency, trust and accountability, tax compliance should be a happy Civic obligation. But, what of the other side, nations perceived to be high on the corruption index, aka lootocracies ? If you're perfectly sure that your Local Govt Chairman cannot, ever, limit himself to his salary and allowances, it will be painful to the soul handing over your tax for allocation to the tiers of Govt. Abeg make everybody dey pay tax oo, regardless. |
