Osogagba: Any wonder Arsenal has won absolutely nothing in the past 8 years? While other EPL dey struggle to improve on the asking fees of clubs of players dem want desperately Arsene Wenger still dey turn the goods up and down like women wey dey price fish for Dugbe market. Instead make im talk say e no get money e wan use d nonsense called trials to embarrass our defender. I support you jare Oboabona. E good as you no go. Arsenal na the worst aka araldite team wey I don see for EPL. Dem for even offer you slave wages if to say you go and pass dem yeye trials. Wait a little. More serious teams will definitely come for you. Soon.
So you mean that if Wenger signs Obaobona and other players, he will win the EPL? Lol. There are so many clowns on Nairaland. Lets wait and see where Obaobona ends up with this utterance of his.

It is a pity I will see him during Christmas in December when I pay a visit to my Akure town.

I am sure he will be boasting in the near future about how great Arsenal offered him a trial and wanted to sign him.

Arsenal don't sign players that much, they only show interest. They will dangle the meat in your face. Lol. I love Arsene.

striker9: Are we talking about football or language studies?Mourinho speaks 4 fluent languages na,prof Wenger should stop treating naija players like poo and park well.....
You are Obaobona friend abi, and blinded by the bitter truth. You must be in the Nigerian League too, because your username says Striker. Lol. You think it is football they play in Nigerian League, and with the level of corruption in the Nigerian Football System, any player who doesn't deserve to be in the National team is placed there.

Why should a club have a good judgement of such player from such angle and country? When the technical team of that club haven't had a close look from the training pitch.

Dude cannot go for trials. He knows he would under-perform and Bleep up.

ideylaff: Yes Mikel did trials... yes he did

"An impressive performance at that tournament caught the attention of Chelsea scouts who invited him and three other Nigerians for trials at the club. Mikel Obi refused, having had his heart set on playing for Manchester United.

Waiting in vain for United to sign him following trials at the club in 2003, Mikel moved from his boyhood club, Plateau United, to Ajax Cape Town in South Africa. This move was said to have been facilitated financially by John Shittu, who later became the player's agent. "

Noblechyk: Mikel went for trial where? The Mikel we know or another Mikel? U must be a millenium fool to hav typed d above rubish. Ur post is jus a self subjection to modern slavery. Only Vermallen does better than Obaobona in Arsenal back four. Invitation for trial is an embarrassment in the highest order. No offence dear but repent so we can move forward.
You cannot even type Thomas Vermaelen correctly, therefore I have no time for you. Go do your homework.

zolajpower: WENGER WILL NEVER LEARN HIS LESSON. THE SAME PROBLEM HE HAD WITH SIGNING OF MERCY YEARS BACK AND NOW GODFREY. LET LOOK ELSE WHERE FOR A DEFENDER. NONSENSE......
Learn his lesson for not signing Obaobona? ROTFLMAO.. Arsenal even rates Djourou (one of their worst defenders) over Obaobona. He thinks English Premiership is Nations Cup, Confederation Cup or Sunshine Stars. Hisssss.

ideylaff: He can have mouf to talk if there were bigger clubs going for him... Person wey nor get mother nor they get sore for back ooo

Hes making too much noise.. what kind of comparison is he doing with Neymar.....

Come for trials simple , if you dont want to fine

Dont come and make noise about respect in a league where people are scoring 60 goals in a game

He's totally barking up the wrong tree with this public rant over the issue.
I for fear oo.. Comparing himself with Neymar. Even Neymar fit defend pass am.

Rhemmymatician: 1. Zlatan DID NOT sign up for trial with Arsenal
2. Mikel was not a national team player wen he went on trial.
Zlatan was offered trial even when he was more POPULAR than Obaobana!! and Mikel went for trial after second rating with Messi and scouts aknowledgement of his skills and talent!!

What are you trying to say here?
SportsRe: Obaobona Slams Wenger Over Invitation For Trial by zerocool(m): 3:59pm On Jul 27, 2013
The guy thinks Arsene Wenger is a Learner? and just in the game of football without any brains. LOL. The professor will school him in different languages. He speaks 3 fluent languages (English, French and German), and he speaks a little Italian, Spanish and amazingly Japanese!

zerocool: Even Cristiano Ronaldo went for Trials at Arsenal back then and Zlatan Ibrahimovic

He should better carry his bags and go for trials. Nobody knows him just yet.. Even Mikel will be eager to play for Arsenal if offered a deal. You are offered trial..a stepping stone to a deal, you dey do yanga. Arsenal does not waste time trying to convince a player to join them. You turn them down, they try a little harder and if it seems you are not too passionate about them, they move on to the next player available and they are still among the topmost club in the EPL.

Mikel who was popular in Nigeria youth world cup with Messi..and plays in Norway, went for trial at Man Utd and Chelsea.

And also many many other great players you know now today. Who is Obawetin? Sunshine Stars my foot!
I still bump this and quote myself for those who missed it. The guy is making a big mistake, but who wants him at Arsenal. LOL. Even Aston Villa or Newcastle go invite am for trial self.

Even Cristiano Ronaldo went for Trials at Arsenal back then and Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Zlatan Ibrahimovic turned down the chance to move to Arsenal because boss Arsene Wenger wanted the Sweden striker to go through a trial.

The AC Milan player was a teenager when he met up with Wenger in 2000 to discuss a possible move to north London.

Ibrahimovic, 30, told The Sun: 'Arsene gave me the famous red and white jersey - the No 9 shirt with Ibrahimovic on it and I was so pleased I even posed for a picture wearing it.

I just LAFF at some comments on this board. Looks like most people here are very young. Nigeria always go back to the drawing board for every tournament. LMAO.

Now it is defence and strikers that is not good, next time it will be coach and midfield, next time it will be NFF and goalkeeper.

Keep the hope alive.

Let's go back to the drawing board. grin

Unless Emenike is there on the pitch, Ideye should sit on bench! angry angry angry
HE-Goat!!!, congratulations on proving your name. Gambo with 91 goals in the Nigerian Premier League but can't hit a ball correctly to save Nigeria when it matters most, and you are saying he is NOT A BIGGER FLOP. Go sleep, fo.ol

OmoEziokwu: Nigerian players who I am impressed with their improvement over time:

ECHEJILE

OBOABONA

Maybe AMBROSE

Of course Mikel has kept his reputation up.

This team has prospects, but please Keshi these strikers you brought to the Confederations Cup have been a disgrace. What is it with Oduamadi always getting injuries? All in all, the Super Eagles have a bright future.
Nigeria ALWAYS have HOPE after every competition.... This is what NIGERIANS use to console themselves. LOL. HOPE HOPE HOPE. Vision 2020. Keep the hopes alive. LMAO.

BusinessRe: Paypal Fund Exchange For Naira by zerocool(m): 5:48pm On May 27, 2013
I can't risk this, since the paypal payment sender to my paypal account can ask for a refund from paypal, even up to 30 days later. And I would have already paid you Naira in your bank account.

You can search for exchangers, but note that no real exchanger, exchanges Paypal to whatever currency. Only your friend can agree to such deal, because he knows where to find you. Anybody who agrees to exchange paypal is a scammer.

Skynett: payza is also an alternative visit www.nairaclass.com
I use PayZa and can recommend them to anyone. PayZa is good for the fact that Credit Card deposit is instant, and you can make your transactions on the go, but PayZa's transaction fees are a bit high and they are the former AlertPay, so I personally don't trust them much.
