Politics › Why Is Nigerian President Treated At Overseas Hospital by zhike(op): 2:43pm On Mar 12, 2019
How is the state of health care in Nigeria?, How could Buhari be treated at overseas hospital while here in Nigeria there is good hospital. I think the government is misleading us when they say we must visit government clinics and hospitals.

.

U lack self respect and confidence. Most white South Africans are stupid and only succeeded because apartheid laws deliberately held Black people back while dishing out freebies to the whites from the natural proceeds of the country. U need to grow up and read a book.
Thanks for the response.

Beat New Zealand to it. Great uplifting news for SA, been depressing here for a while cheesy

I read somewhere that 6 out of the Top20 netball nations are African. So real prospect they will perform well on a tournament hosted on home soil, or even win the thing.
Well done to South Africa is making Africa proud. I also wish that one of African nation could win this tournament.

First we have to bid, it won't be handed to us on a silver platter. Just look at SA taking on developed countries with no fear.
But us as Nigeria, do we have right facilities for Netball? , do we have proper security to host world event?

When will our own Nigeria host world event?
Sports › Africa To Host Netball World Cup by zhike(op): 9:33am On Mar 08, 2019
Netball South Africa (NSA) president Cecilia Molokwane had to fight back tears as mixed emotions swirled after Cape Town was named as host city for the 2023 Netball World Cup.

Molokwane suffered a personal tragedy just a few weeks ago when her husband was killed in a car accident.

Jumping up and down and screaming in celebration when International Netball Federation (INF) president Molly Rhone made the announcement seemed inappropriate for her‚ despite the sensational news.

The sport’s flagship event will come to Africa for the first time since its inception in 1963 and will inject at least R2bn in revenue into the local and national economy.

When set aside against an estimated budget of R68 million to stage the event‚ the economic benefits appear even more significant than the legacy and profile benefits for the sports itself.

The South African currency is more powerful than most of african currencies. if you pay South African R4000 is not enough, but if you pay someone from Nigeria R4000 is enough because the nigerian will go to Nigeria and convert Rand to Naira's and have a lot of money.

My issue was that you don't know what Xenophobia is, if you know what xenophobia means you were not going to use that term here.

Everything about SA is crap to me.. You music, xenophobic people etc.. I wish our governement can chase all your businesses back and crumble the entire south africa that depends on remittances from Nigeria to survive
Please apologize for saying South Africans are lazy, because they are busy running their country to the right direction while Nigerians are running their country to the grave. Thanks for lessons about what Nigeria did to help SA during the apartheid, but If Nigeria really wanted to help they were supposed to sent their soldiers to go and fight with apartheid regime. what they did it was just minor assistance.

I believe the stats were produced from your anus because the only thing SA is known for is HIV and Xenophobia.. How can you free yourselves when you were begging for help everywhere and it took the big guy to rescue you from apartheid..

Look who'se talking bad leadership, didn't your immediate past president resign out of corruption after marrying and impregnating a thousand wives? cheesy cheesy

We are the life and hope of South Africa , if we shut down your businesses in Nigeria, SA will go bankrupt.. I'm praying for a president that will deal with all you ungrateful africans
Please lets be realistic HIV is under control in SA and is going up in Nigeria. South Africa managed to chase their corrupt president and Nigeria is failing to do the same. who is better?

Stop talking thrash like the average dum SAfrican. SA is synonymous with HIV globally. We are still in February 2019 and your already manufacturing 2019 stats from your anus.

I don’t care what you say, I wish our leaders could shut down all these SA owned companies in Nigeria. You feed from us and go about killing our people in your country. Without Nigeria you would still have been fighting apathied by now.. ungrateful azz Africans. I even wonder what your doing in Nigeria forum
Stop joking you never helped South Africa during apartheid, we know the countries that helped South Africa and Nigeria is not one of them. and also those countries they only provided accommodation, moral supports and some guns to South African freedom fighters. and freedom fighters(guys like chris hani) went back to SA to fight until they win.

The same SA that kills our people with xenophobia. They should better remain in their country
Some people like you they don't know what is xenophobia, what was happening is South Africa was that local people where no longer able to get work opportunities because companies were preferring foreigners because foreigners do not want high salaries compared to South Africans. That was the main course of those fights. can you call that Xenophobia?, Can you allow that to happen in your home? lets be realistic my friend. and most of those foreigners they were their illegal.

I stayed in Europe for some time, what I can tell you is that all eastern Europe countries are behind South Africa in terms of Infrastructure, standard of living and development. most of west european countries like france, spain, portugal, Italy are also behind South Africa. The only problem with South Africa they opened borders to other african countries, those people comes to South Africa and build squatter camps. some of them turn to be thieves. the reason south africa is so developed is because the boers built it, and boers never thought that blacks will own it. after 1994 ANC did not chase the boers but they asked them to assist in running the country. Now blacks gained experience and they are running their country. they are able to create good investment environment.

As President Ramaphosa said subsahara Africa needs Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa to be united in order for it to progress. he also said we must not compete, we must share the skills and learn from each other. Am surprised to learn that some of the Nigerians want to compare South Africa with Nigeria, is like comparing an elephant and a goat.

Synagogue: South Africa Receives Corpses…shuns Nigerian Facilities - Nairaland / General - Nairaland

https://www.nairaland.com/1999438/synagogue-south-africa-receives-corpses...shuns

The South African team, including military personnel, forensic experts and pathologists were said to have arrived in Nigeria around midnight and headed for the two general hospitals to identify and repatriate the bodies of their compatriots.

“We knew the South African team would arrive today. They came in around midnight. They came with their military, forensic and autopsy personnel. There’s been cooperation between us and the South African team. They arrived here at 4am. We started by identifying the bodies and setting up tents and other things. By 6am we started picking each body, decontaminating them further and bagging them — all these were done by the South African team.”

The South Africans, who arrived the country in two aircraft, shunned local facilities and items. They came with four forensic pathology trucks, generators, water, buses, pick-up vehicles and other items.

Reacting on the equipment brought into the country by the experts, Obafunwa took a swipe at the Federal Government for its inability to make provisions for forensic science laboratories across the country, the lack of which, he said, had often led to mass burial of dead victims of major disasters in Nigeria.

He said, “Nothing is too much to spend on identifying victims of disasters, taking care of the dead through forensic pathology services. (Look at what the South Africans have demonstrated to ussmiley one vehicle for each of their provinces, and the population is so small; should there be a mass disaster in a particular area that requires three or four of these trucks, they will be mobilised from other provinces to that place. Nigeria needs a functional forensic science laboratory. And why is this too difficult for the FG to establish? We don’t have a single functional forensic science laboratory in this country.

“You can imagine if Lagos government had not embarked on this kind of thing, all these bodies would have been given mass burial. Today, we can safely say to South Africans, ‘Come and collect your bodies because we’ve identified them. We’ve been working hand in hand with them in the area of finger-printing, Deoxyribonucleic acid analysis; we have to give credit to them as well. When we talk about Nigeria being the giant of Africa, I think we are just fooling ourselves.”
Thanks very much for writing this statement, I really appreciate.

Come this is mockery. Don't be misguided. This is not right. Southy can't do that, they can send observers but sending military support for what nahuh

I disbelieve in your source less story tongue
They did sent election observers indeed. according to SABC election in Nigeria were postponed because of security issues. therefore South African government said they are willing to assist Nigeria by providing more security. They even said the reason they did not assist Nigeria to fight BOkoharam is because Nigeria never asked for assistance. Even now they are saying they can only provide assistance if Nigeria can ask for it.

I wish that Nigeria can have a Free and Fair Election. proper and good power transition. Buhari must leave the office because he failed. As Nigeria we must learn from South Africa, when they no longer want the president people on the ground will march for president to step down until the president steps down. that's what happened to Jacob Zuma.
