Aribo is piss poor as a midfielder.
It is not even arguable.

Anybody that truly loves and appreciates Aribo's skills, we advice him to evolve his game in the role of a forward.
i see Aribo as a Havertz kind of player. Very difficult to find the best role suited for those kind of player.

the major reason big clubs weren’t really on him during the transfer window is his lost of form and injury record in the past 2 seasons

Without that a top club would hv snatched him from leicester for cheap because he just hv a year in his existing contract

With latest report flying around I won’t be surprised if Bayern signs him in January transfer window which I believe Leicester will accept instead of allowing him to leave for free next summer
what I'm saying is that bayern will not be interested in a poor dm as many here wants us to believe. Many here don't rate the championship, myself inclusive but for the fact that this guy has performed season after season in the Premiership we shouldn't be equating him with the situation of nwakali or other division 2 players that have never proven themselves in division one.

Try an learn to comprehend points. De Bruyne's style of play is more effective than Zizou's style.

Finito.
Sorry sir when you say more effective I want to understand. Cos Zizou style of play won him world cup, euro cup, champions league, league titles and World best. So how do you define effective.

It was wrong decision. Ejike was favored because Berti preferred a tall goalkeeper. This was no secret.
they was nothing wrong in his decision. Ejide never cost us any game. They was even a debate that he has a better position to Enyeama. Ejide was never a bad goalkeeper. ManU prefer Onana to degea. To me degea is a better keeper but the coach prefer Onana.

I was vexed that year too but now i know better. I don't mind any consequent coach repeating this, but with sense. No GK should feel tooo comfy on national duty. That way,. Competition and improvement of the good goalies will cause step up and that will boost levels al round too.
exactly, I remember once Enyeama saying ejide made him a better goalkeeper. The fear of ejide taking the no1 spot

Ejide unimpressive showing in friendlies toward 2002 WC gave Enyeama invitation and he stole number two position with a friendly against Kenya….yes Berti Vogts preferred him but we all knew it was wrong decision and we saw Enyeama reclaimed his shirt and did well in 2010 and 2014 WC.
Sir I won't call it a wrong decision it was Berti vogts preference, he loves his goalkeepers tall. And I can't remember any game ejide was poor safe for one game he caught the ball and drop it inside the post which the ref disallow. I'll likened enyeama-ejide situation to Buffon and Toldo of Italy, two good keepers but one was better.

Enyeama came in when Ejide failed to impress. In fact they shared the same keeper trainer in person of Amusa Adisa my university coach….Ezenwa was getting invitations as second choice keeper in NPFL,so you can’t compare.

I quite agreed with you on Alloy cuz he failed to search for talented ones and this paved way for regional league keepers in Europe.
i don't think Ejide ever failed to impress. Ejide was a very good keeper just that enyeama was better. I remember the game between enyimba and etol de sahel. Later in his career one of Nigeria coaches even prefer him to enyeama.

How will you see it, when you choose to turn blinds eyes,

the goal that many are crucifying him for, even the best keeper won't catch that ball, .and what about the double saves he made, you don't sees it too
pls I'm not faulting him for that goal. Lemme say I've not seen any man of the match performance from him. When he came to the national team I was expecting more

The funniest thing be say none is decent enough be tried. Arthur Okonkwo is yet to convince me, Adeleye looks promising though but I don’t think he is ready yet

The only one person fit recommend na Atubolu but our hand no reach am 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm also not convinced with Adeleye maybe because I don't fancy GK with below average height.

in afcon 2000 he had a hattrick of assists against Tunisia.
His ability in midfield was the only thing that kept us going
from 2006 to 2010.
In the period we will play rubbish and kanu will come in and change the game from midfield
I remember our matches against senegal and zimbabwe in afcon 2006, 2008 or 2010
i can remember.
He was a magician who changed the game from midfield.
Kanu trumps amokachi and siasia in his ability to control the midfield and create chances.
He simply was more of a midfielder was more creative, could play possesion football
and made life easier for our forwards
when people come up with he never scored any nations cup goal to discredit Kanu ability I just laugh. On several occasions Kanu will win panelty for Nigeria and fans will beg for him to play it to get at least a goal, Kanu will move away from it. I feel he's just like Mikel that don't like taking penalty. Also I'll never forget his assist to utaka against cameroun, the control of the ball before the pass was majestic.

Not that, Fatma should had done so codely, not coming out to say it openly as She does, That's what Sam is trying to say,

besides its also a good move by FIFA, but communicated in a wrong manner, that's all
i don't subscribe to the codedly calling out nff or any federation anymore. Fifa is paying good money to this federations for every tournament. The least they expect is for the federations to owe the players after the tournament.

SPORT2023 WWC: FIFA under fire over decision to pay players directly because of Nigeria’s Super Falcons

Former Super Eagles defender, Sam Sodje, has expressed discontent over comment by Fatma Samoura, Secretary-General of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), disparaging the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).

NAN reports that Samoura had reportedly told the Super Falcons in their dressing room that FIFA had decided to pay their prize money directly to them rather than through the NFF.

However, Sodje, in a statement signed by him on Wednesday in Warri, said the comment was uncalled for.

“I read with shock, the statement purportedly made by Samoura in the dressing room of the Super Falcons at the ongoing Women’s World Cup.

“A FIFA official need not make this disparaging statement openly because those who were in charge of football administration in Nigeria should have been sanctioned when it noticed it,“ he said.

Sodje said it was disrespectful for her to castigate and implicate Nigeria, a nation that has contributed so much to football, without investigating the genesis of this problem.

“The Federation Secretary should understand that Nigeria, as a country, has very serious and honest sports administrators that can hold their position anywhere in the world.

“What Nigeria and, in fact, Africa need now is encouragement, not castigation.

“FIFA needs to respect Nigeria and Africa because we, as a nation and a continent, have contributed so much to world football and the growth of FIFA as an organisation,” he said
Nff needs encouragement to continue owing it's national team players abi?

Na so una go dey yab person out of ignorance. Peter is a very old fan and friend of the Super Eagles. Right from the days of Yobo, Osaze, Mikel, Martins. I remember he was very close to Mikel back then. That guy do voice support for SE players since 2010 world cup or even earlier. They do hangout a lot then up till now.

If you followed the media space before the rise of social media, you will know that he does make comments on air back then on upcoming matches, even qualifiers.
You are correct Peter sometime last year visited Chikwueze at villareal, both are Chelsea fans and strong football fan, but I notice Paul is drifting towards basketball 🏀
