I can see that you are passionately liked, is there something else about you other than a talented actor?
Yes, but I am not just about talent. I went to acting school here in Ghana. We have lecturers from all over the world, excluding Africa. For two years I studied broadcasting, performance, editing, writing, acting. I majored in directing.

What acting school did you attend?
I went to Academy of Screen Acting.

When you act, you bring this vivacious personality on the screen, is it just to impress or that is just you?
I will say I just try as much as possible to make it believable, so when you actually think, you don’t think you are watching a movie, you will think what you are watching is actually happening. I watched Sin of a Soul and I actually forgot that I was watching a movie. I thought the situation was really happening and that is what I like when I am watching a movie. It captivates you; you are lost in thought.
I am happy being an actor because it is all I have ever wanted to do.

And fulfilled?
Very, very much but I have certain things to do to get 100% fulfillment and I am working towards it. Every actor and actress has this thing; they want to direct one day. I just want to direct a couple of movies. After that I will be fulfilled.

It doesn’t look like you’ve made much impact in Nigerian cinema?
Well, I have had three premieres in Nigeria; Guilty Pleasure, Bursting Out and Silent Scandal. So I was actually part of three Nigerian movies that were premiered. But I don’t shoot too often there.

But I’ve heard people say that you are a play boy?
People talk a lot, so you should expect anything from them.

So Majid is not a play boy?
No, of course I am not a play boy.

Well one actress has actually complained to me and said you are a playboy.
She was just talking. She was just being funny, just to make you laugh.

Even looking at you, you look like a play boy.
No, I’m just a friendly person and very easy to be with.

The Super Falcons' Coach Eucharia Uche, has made a statement saying that there are lesbians in the country's female national team.

The statement which was made at the 'First Seminar on Women Football in Nigeria: Challenges and Prospects' says that: “It's a worrisome experience that some of our players indulge in lesbianism. Some of them go as far as renting rooms in hotels around the team's campsite where they go to satisfy their orgy.

She continued by saying “A good number of them even bring their male friends into the camp. It's a serious development that has been detrimental to the team's growth and performance.”

Meanwhile, statements from Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)'s Chief Media Officer, Ademola Olajire, who few years ago had echoed the ravaging scourge of 'women sleeping with their fellow women as love birds', could have laid to rest the veracity of the existence of lesbians among Falcons.

“We all know of these vices because lesbianism has become a thing of common knowledge that the female footballers no more hide it among themselves. However, those who indulge in the nasty act had promised to stop it and the NFF is putting measures in place to ensure that they keep to their promises,” the media officer stated.

Whatever measure taken so far to stop the girls from 'living in love' with their fellow girls, a stakeholder in the football family, Sir James Peters, has stated that not much has been achieved in that direction in the national team.

A public cry has been made by James Essien, the Father of the Chelsea Mid-fielder Micheal Essien, complaining that he had been abandoned and neglected by his son.

He is posing a threat that Micheal Essien should stop using his name. He said "I will go all out to ensure that he stops using my name. , Even if I have to drag him to the law courts, I will do that…I have been ill for over a year now"

James Essien claims to have been neglected by his son for years, he couldn't figure out why he should be the Dad of a multi-billionaire son and yet live as a wretch, saying “His mother has been ill-advising him to stop providing for my upkeep."

Information from security agents yesterday says that they have called "a plot to poison" the President.

A Northern Political Leaders Forum (NPLF) official has told of how he was grilled over the allegation.

An arrest on Mallam Bibi Farouk was made on Thursday along with NPLF Secretary Abdulkadir Bello. According to the State Security Services (SS), the arrest was based on personal invitation on some "security issues".

The presenter for "Who wants to be a Millionaire", Frank Edoho, seems to be in yet another trouble in his marriage life.

Frank who is married to Katherine, an employee in NTA was said to have left his matrimonial home for his wife. A similar incident had occurred two years ago.

My words to Frank, "Dont you want to use your LIFE LINES?". At least you should have considered to "Phone a Friend", or better still "Ask Us your Audience".

A massive earthquake has hit the north-east of Japan, triggering a tsunami that has caused extensive damage.

Japanese television showed cars, ships and even buildings being swept away by a vast wall of water after the 8.9-magnitude earthquake.

The quake has sparked fires in several areas including Tokyo. At least 32 people were killed, officials said.

It struck about 250 miles (400km) from the capital at a depth of 20 miles. There have been powerful aftershocks. The tremor, measured at 8.9 by the US Geological Survey, hit at 1446 local time (0546 GMT). Seismologists say it is one of the largest earthquakes to hit Japan for many years.

A tsunami warning was extended across the Pacific to New Zealand in the south and North and South America to the east.

The Red Cross in Geneva warned that the tsunami waves could be higher than some Pacific islands, Reuters news agency said.

Coastal areas in the Philippines, Hawaii and other Pacific islands were evacuated ahead of the tsunami's expected arrival.
