because when i tried to upload it there a dailogue box would ask me to create the folder that it does not exist
and afterwards it say that it cannot create or that the server is out of service.

but when i published the site it's not appearing in the net.

Djangocode: Sometimes, Mysql not starting is caused by a mysql service already running in registry.. I had a similar experience, What I did was to Uninstall my Wamp, Enter Your Registry and search for mysql and delete any search that shows MYSQL..

Then Reinstall Xampp or Wamp and Run it..
NB: This is a Clean Hack..

You Can Google "Removing MYSQL from Registry".. Cuz I myt have skipped some Steps..

You Can also scan Your system cuz a Virus might be the cause..

yungcheda: It keeps saying Apache cannot be started and during installation. it says port 80 in use. I have tried to get rid of whatever is in port 80 but cant find any

yungcheda: By exporting the database, you mean I should copy the folders and paste in another location?

shcash: Why don't you try other servers out there. Use XAMPP or WAMP they are popular and can get more support easily & quickly.

Hello,
I have a question. Though I know how to handle regular Ecommerce which include strictly sales and an integrated cart, I want to try something on Joomla!
I would build a generator set website, then create a menu item then, link and integrate an extension to enable shopping (prices and pictures) and also integrate a cart (to enable multiple purchases)

Now, my questions go thus:
1. Which extension is the best for Shopping.
2. Which extension is the best for Cart.
3. Is there an extension that can handle both shopping and cart? Which is it?
4. How do I set up the Joomla! extension for use to handle requests and accept Naira credit/debit cards? (Important)

I will appreciate specific answers and any question as regards my questions, I will be glad to clarify.

Yours truly was able to acquire an above-basic understanding of html, and cascading sheets, thanks for the love.
And i can now build a page, with a little dynamic features, with the help of macromedia dreamweaver(now acquired by adobe), which i downloaded, because i have no link to download adobe's dreamweaver(help needed in that area).
Oops! i'm already boring you. I'm so sorry.
Straight to the problem.
My problem is that after setting up a basic html page.
How does- {xml, php, .asp, javascript, server and client} -come in?
How are they connected to my html page.
And if i get a domain name(i'm planning towards that), how do i connect my webpages to it.
And how does i.p address come in?
Pls i need a summarized run down on the steps needed to create a website.
I'm looking forward to your reply.
