Yeah, no more hotmail messenger, Skype replaces it if you wish to chat with hotmail contacts.

As for the free sms, google wins in that regard, they have quite a lot of cool add-on services.

Remember there used to be windows messenger (i.e microsoft version of yahoo messenger for chatting via desktop), they no longer offer it, instead you can login with your hotmail details and chat via skype.

Skype now replaces windows messenger.

Check the top right corner, you'll see the online messenger icon.

But if you're looking for the desktop client, Windows messenger was scraped.

You now login and chat to your fellow hotmail contacts via skype.

Seen the changes eh? I was so shocked when I saw the new interface.

Good thing I managed to clip my unique email id - first and last name.

I still use gmail mainly because of the google calendar/docs services but msn's interface is miles ahead.

When you open one, you'll see the ton of changes. Gmail is still the boss though.

But IMO, the new MSN interface is the best amongst the top three (yahoo, gmail, msn).

Well, you know the celebrity thing, always a tad difficult to refrain from attempting to live large - even if it's from paycheck to paycheck. Perhaps 'some' people will learn from this and begin to consider the "what if's", maybe hire a financial manager.
