Supercapacitors. . . not new, and no it's not an invention. Lots of companies and folks have been on it since way back.

I'll be more amazed when someone develops a super capacitor that is able to compete with Lithium Ion technology in terms of energy density, but as of now super capacitor technology is WAY behind, and not moving very fast.

What she did put plainly, is a capacitor that can charge in 20 seconds to light an LED and not charging a phone in 20 seconds. The dumb media folks portrayed it the wrong way (albeit excessive hype).
