theblackjack76:Super Falcons is another heartbreaker. Just wait & see. That's why they keep playing friendly matches with unpopular teams so as not to open their "fowl yansh". |
tbaba1234:They are better talent wise than this so called pros. |
gamaliel9:These two are not Super Eagles qualities. Bashiru is full of short passes and doesn't really drive forward or exert himself in midfield. While Oforborh's movement is slow & weak in tackles as a DM against ukr. The Midfielders Manu paraded at the last u17 afcon play better to me. |
Falcons & weak teams. World cup defeat is loading. |
tbaba1234:Not just Ofoborh but Ogbu. The coach's choice of player is appalling. Doesn't have eyes for talent. Or could he be afraid of something. Probabaly nff officials or agents. |
charlesemeka85:I watched utin played at WAFU, CHAN, & U20 Afcon. Nothing will change about his game. Nothing has changed. He has no room for improvement as a leftback. Except he's made a left winger. He is not a small boy o. Is it because of the clean shave of his beards? |
forgiveness:Are you joking? Same fellow we just saw today. All pace no finesse. Brother please you are joking. |
charlesemeka85:He does not have any qualities to become a better lb. Polishing is too late now. This is an Enyimba first team player. As old as he is, his decision making with the ball is very poor coupled with his poor defensive positioning. His leadership of the team on the pitch alone is a let down. |
When i saw Super Eagles played at the last World Cup i knew nigerian football is dying. With this first half display, it is confirmed. Aigbogun is either afraid of someone's choice of players for him or didn't have taste for unearthing good one. His team lacks bite in every department. Just few stand out players ( ogbu, micheal, success & oforboh) who of course were never part of the team from the scratch. |
Danielnino00:Iheanacho will never boss the Belgian league. He lacks qualities you will see in those that did. Look at Samatta, Mbokani, Osimhen & even Ezekiel. He needs to finetune his first touch issue/ball control, dribbling ability, the need to use his right foot passively & he equally needs tough shoulder to wear down defenders. |
The coach should have played Offia as a right foot left winger & Makanjuola as a left foot right winger. Inverted wing play. |
Henry Offia plays in Sweden for Sirius as an inverted left winger. Quick & very strong. |
Why not cut this our u20 team some slacks. Afterall our teams that have been playing as far back as the 80's were never looking like teens. Nothing different as far as i am concerned. Truth be told. The coach never made the decision singlehandedly. Teams have seen so far in the competition are not looking younger. |
Osimhen is a more deadly finisher than ighalo. His shooting technique is superior. But Ighalo is more skillful. And onyekuru has improved a lot. Anyone watching his games recently will observe that. He is more of a team player now than he was in Belgium. |
What has Ola Aina taken serious. Someone that will suddenly switch off before final whistle. Go and watch his Torino games. Good player going forward sleepy player defending. |
ChrisKels:What will you call Ola Aina if Omeruo is a calamity? |
@tbaba1234 From my reading of your comments so far, i think the team can't be so different from this if you put into consideration old members & new additions. 1. Detan Ogundare (Kogi United) 2. Olawale Oremade (Oasis.A) 3. Matthew Yakubu (Clique Sports ) 4. Ikouwem Utin (Enyimba) 5. Mike Zaruma (Plateau Utd) 6. Muhammad Zulkifilu (Plateau) 7. Solomon Ogberahwe (El-Kanemi) 8. Valentine Ozornwafor (Enyimba) 9. Aliu Salawudeen (E.A.A) 10. Igoh Ogbu (Rosenborg) 11. Jamilu Muhammed (Kano Pillars) 12. Effiom Maxwell (Enyimba) 13. Tom Dele Bashiru (Man. City) 14. Nnamdi Ofoborh (Bournemouth) 15. Ibrahim Abubakar (Plateau Utd) 16. Kingsley Micheal(Perugia) 17. Pascal Durugbor (Vaxjo) 18. Henry Offia (IK Sirius) 19. Jerome Akor(Sogndal IL) 20. Tijani Muhammed 21. Success Makanjuola |
charlesemeka85:Same goes for the current u20 coach. It's like "home based sell market for all". Since the FA are equally involved. How can players keep travelling back & forth to sign contract elsewhere rather than concentrating on national assignment. It is obvious they are all there on transactionary purpose. |
Igoh ogbu, Jerome Akor & Tijani Muhammed will definitely make the team as foreign based players. The remaining slot would be filled by home based players. Aigbogun will not add up to 5 new player to his team. Most of these foreign born players will end up as training materials. The agents of the local players are there with so much influence for their players and its obvious from the look of things those players would be selected. I feel for those players from England. |
One thing that will happen in the flying eagles with all these rumours or allegations of bribery & corruption is that the players will be there as more of a marketable product than a team player thus become selfish and playing to the gallery. Too many cooks spoil the broth |
Humility017:Stop being judgemental. That he didn't feature him didn't mean the coach is corrupt. That boy is very young (15 years or so) & doesn't looked like someone with the physical trait to play in this afcon. The coach watched them all in training. What did Habib achieved in the 2013 set despite all the hype about him? Our opponents are not small boys o! The team just need little finetuning, back up the full backs, bring in attacking players with finnesse & ability to technically hit the ball at goal. Most of these boys just use raw power to balloon the ball at goal.Especially that No.7 & Ubani's constant waste of freekicks. Always jumping up to hit the ball at goal. Poor technique. |
Its like the u20 coach has dropped IGOH OGBU. But the guy is decent. Had a good pairing with OZORNWOFOR in central defence at the last u20 afcon. Though the boy is based in Sweden. |
Away goals rule. Spurs. |
Are these two related 1.Fatai Amoo 2.Akinkunmi Amoo
|
Youngest crop of u17 i've ever seen in an African qualifier for the World Cup. FIFA really got African teams with MRI. These boys are young. Ang:Uga |
forgiveness:It's very obvious. So defensively naive. |
They re not really good defensively. Very porous in the middle. They watch their opponent run by with ease. |
Hello guys. Bought infinix hot 7 recently, to my surprise the phone can't see storage device(flash USB stick) attached through otg cable. Any tweak for this? |
Icon4s:1. Still can't trap the ball properly till now as a professional footballer. Which is elementary. 2.Poor skill set. 3. Avoids his right foot on the ball as if it's plagued. He even scored a goal raising his right foot up in order to use the left foot. |
Every coach have is type of players for his style of play. Nigeria's coach like to soak pressure then hit on the counter attack. Rohr's midfielders are slow, deviod of creativity & sleek interchange of forward passes. His victories so far has drown all these obvious weaknesses. Eagles have flair no more. |
Earthquake2:You are not being sincere. This guy was the captain of bayelsa united & Nigeria u23 team to the last afcon & Olympics. And still the captain of the current one. |
charlesemeka85:Sir, if your mentioned players (zubairu & igbekeme)are so good, they would have worn the Super Eagles jersey by now. Azubuike is a delight to watch. A mobile defensive Midfielder, with good passing range & interception. Go back & watch the last u23 afcon and the olympics, then the Egypt vs Nigeria afcon qualifier we lost. |
