Abagworo: That man cannot speak Mbaise and it is a rural diocese as we know. This issue has lasted too long with a lot of lies and blackmails against Mbaise people. The best thing is to give an Mbaise man Bishop of Awka if they want an Awka man as Bishop of Ahiara. That settles the suspicion of conspiracy.

If this actualy hapened then i'm ashamed as a catholic. The archbishop of jos, who doubles as the chairman of the catholic bishops conference is not from plateau st but from taraba. Some years back a similar problem like this arose in edo state where an igbo man was made the bishop of one of the dioceses there. Everyone condemed the behaviour of the edo catholic faithfuls including my igbo brothers. The most annoying thing perhaps is that the priests led this protest. Cardinal Arinze who is not from italy was(and maybe still is) the archbishop of a diocese over there. This is just too disgraceful. No matter the level of misunderstanding between them, they should'nt have taken to the streets.

In another news about this same burial, another reporter claimed that people of ogidi were angry with the state govt because it is not very involved in the burial preparation, here now, these ones are saying the direct opposite. I for one aint comfortable with the way the fed govt is getting very involved. But journalists should please do something about their profession, its fast becoming a joke

I sensed this sometime ago. Almost everyday obaze's name is mentioned on radio(ABS) for one reason or the other. Obi should be carefull though i must advice. Should this man become the APGA flagbearer and fail, it means an end to APGA. I would advice that APGA should do a good underground study before putting foward a candidate who mus'nt fail.
