Ebelechukwu Obiano, wife of the former governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano has generated derisive jabs of recent in Anambra state stemming from her adoption of a ‘poor village woman’s look’ as her new style as she goes campaigning in market squares and church courtyards in the communities of Anambra North in furtherance of her quest to represent Anambra North at the red chambers

She startled parishioners at St John’s Catholic Church, Ayamelum when she turned up to canvass for their votes dressed in plain and washed out looking blue Ankara print outfit and basic black slippers, a far cry from her usual flamboyant and provocative dressing

This new shabby look has become her style for her Senate Campaigns, prompting derogatory remarks by citizens of the state who wondered whether this was not the same woman whose habit for expensive designer wears once saw her spend the equivalent 2million Naira for a pair of Gucci designer glasses, and together with her husband, is under scrutiny by the EFCC for massive looting of state funds .

Her Campaign outing at Onitsha main market in the company of her husband hit a brick wall when traders booed them out of the market with chants of ‘Obi ! Obi !’, ‘Obi we know!’.

The former First Lady is also saddled with the fallouts from her infamous unprovoked attack on wife of late Igbo leader, Chief Ikemba Ojukwu, which earned Mrs Obiano a farewell slap and wide scale condemnation for her uncouth behavior at the inauguration ceremony of the present governor of Anambra State, Prof Charles Soludo.
Mrs Obiano will be contesting in the upcoming National Assembly elections on February 25th 2023.

In the said picture, the former first lady, who is currently vying to represent Anambra North in the senate looked a shadow of her former radiant self, and this pathetic look of Ebele Obiano just few months after her husband left office as Anambra Governor has left tongues wagging.

Mrs Obiano as the picture depicted looked almost shabby compared to her glamorous past, with discolored skin and black patches very visible on her face, hands and feet despite being in the United States where she has access to her retinue of plastic surgeons.
This has led many to conclude that her present physical state could be as a result of the stress of the harsh realities of leaving office and the trappings of power.

She apologized to Soludo. She apologized to Ndigbo, she apologized to everyone in Africa except the lady sitting on her own jejely that she staggered drunkenly across a thousand miles to confront! You can dress a pig, powder, pamper and perch it on a throne and it will still walk off to roll in the mud. False. Ebonyi has bigger one. Anambra own is not even 70 per cent completed. The ground is swampy and nothing has been done for landscaping. They only rushed the shell and the actual hall for d event.

Some people's comments are unimaginable... A family that has the money to bid for an election, can't buy Gucci products in the market. Mention any state in Nigeria that has built an airport since 2010? Obiano is one the best governors in Nigeria right now. How many governors still pay workers and pensioniers their salaries in full. Obiano is one of the best though in Nigerian standard.

Note that Ebonyi State has built an even bigger Airport than Anambra State Airport, and is soon to be ready but you are here talking rubbish and asking which state has built airport since 2010.
Ebonyi State has done that.

Obiano is leaving a debt of 200 billion Naira for Anambra State. He is also owing pensioners and staff of Anambra State Water Corporation.

Obiano and his looting wife have robbed Anambra Treasury dry, left nothing but dilapidated infrastructure in Anambra state.

He is one of the worst governors in the history of Anambra State,and currently on the EFCC watchlist for gross corruption and money laundering.

This is not the best of times for Ebelechukwu Obiano, wife of Outgoing governor of Anambra state owing to the fact that several frontline pressure groups in Anambra State have sworn to bury her Senatorial bid for Anambra North when her husband leaves office next month.

She executes various fraudulent schemes using known proxies in all ministries. She uses CAFE her pet program as a laundering front.
She uses Uchenna Okafor, a Commissioner notoriously known as Wiper,Mr Luke Aniakor, Dr Nzekwu who heads the State IGR office, Primus Odili, Chief of Staff, Okey Anyayo, Emeka Ozumba, to steal the state IGR. She forced the installation of her brother as the Anambra Market Chairman and he collects over N20m monthly in IGR from the markets in Anambra State but remits a paltry N300k to State coffers.
She uses various proxy companies to execute the facilities management and other contracts in Anambra State against the approval of the Anambra State Executive Council while her husband , the governor looks the other way.

The slow pace of many contracts and road repairs in Anambra state including non execution of these road contracts even after money has been released is because her companies are handling the projects.

1)Paul Obiakor moves millions of naira every week to the governor's lodge at Amawbia in Ghana must go bags and cartons. This money is most of the state internally generated revenue.

2) Once her husband leaves office, We will publish the names of Mrs Obianos's agents in Ministries, Agencies, MDAs and Parastals of government in Anambra state who Mrs Obiano positioned as Commissioners and MDs. These people make returns to her every month. Most of the permanent secretaries in the state ministries now are already working with us and providing all the necessary information.

6. After March 17 when she and her looting husband hand over to Soludo, we will expose local and international bank accounts of Mrs. Obiano. Monies she siphoned and lodged in accounts under the name of her mother, daughter, and brother as well as proxies in America and also those monies she lodged with a guy widely known as her boyfriend in America.

Ebelechukwu Obiano has, to date 17 properties in USA purchased through her proxies. Even 2 properties at Ruxton Road, Ikoyi were bought on her behalf by proxy. The London home of the Obianos was bought under the name of her junior sister who is a Liason officer at Anambra Liason Office in Lagos, and their 3 properties in Dubai were bought under d name of OGechi, their daughter and their adopted son Chukwudifu and Mrs Obiano’s mother’s name.

This greedy woman has emptied the state treasury and the Obianos will be leaving the state with a heavy debt burden.

Let her come out for Senate for Anambra North. We are patiently waiting to teach her a lesson she will never forget.
