Business / Re: Why Exactly Is The Cement Price Going Up This Way? by Zubbix: 4:48pm On Feb 17
Oga you don too talk, gypsum imported, this one diesel, that one limestone machinery.
E do!

Be like say na IT student you be for there. You have learnt well, Kudos! but can you keep quiet now?

All this one wey you dey explain no alleviate the pain of Nigerians. No one needs your lecture

MASTERCHIEF0847:

BUA and LaFarge also increased the prices of their products too, BUA cement is even more expensive but it's okay you can continue with your Dangote-phobia...the poor like hating the rich grin
You clearly have no idea that limestone while available in Nigeria has to be mined using heavy machinery that guzzles diesel which sells for over 1000 naira per liter, and gypsum which is used in cement plants and it mostly imported in commercial quantities and paid in dollars which is very hard to come by in Nigeria and also cost of diesel for running the factory and transportation.
Person go just post crap because him get access to internet.
Control your coded envy and jealousy of Dangote. BUA too enjoys tax relief just like other heavy manufacturers like INNOSON but it's okay you can kee foaming from the mouth over Dangote a private businessman who is not responsible for policy formulations while ignoring the banza government you supported and voted for as well.

Same thing happened to me. I had just finished the first task. Upon clicking on the second task, it kept loading until it brought up the error message.

I just sent mail to both shl and PWC to notify them

Hi DeeDee

The work situation test questions was something like choose two options that best represents who you are out of three options.

So for example they might ask you something like, you work best alone (option 1), you work under pressure (option 2), you know how to resolve conflict (option 3) choose two options from these that best represents who you are.

For the Smart Interview you don't see a human being just the questions and you record yourself over a video.

Use your laptop for this test all through, mobile phone is not needed at this point.[/quote]

Please kindly clarify this.

Are you saying that one could use mobile phone for the numerical, verbal and others. But at the point of taking the smart interview assessment, it's better one uses a laptop?

Thank you

Health / Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Zubbix: 3:27am On Mar 06, 2022
The scary account of how a man forced himself on his wife who during the birth of her child passed out twice with an episiotomy.

This gave me a lot of goose bumps that I felt I should share it here

Perhaps the information could be of help to expectant mothers. especially to the young women out there who are just giving birth for the first time.

So, I'm going to try to recall the story as much as I can.

The woman's name was Lucky. During the birth of her baby, she narrated how she spent about 19hrs in labor, screaming in pains to the point that she passed out twice. And for each time she woke, she continued screaming, begging for a CS, but was denied.

This continued until she eventually had an episiotomy, and with God helping her, she was able to push the baby out. But then, she passed out again out of exhaustion.

And in case you do not know what episiotomy is, it is a cut given at the opening of the vagina just to free up space for the baby to come out easily. And this usually occur most times when the size of the baby happen to be bigger than the mother's cavity.

So eventually, Mrs. lucky was revived back. She went home, but according to her, the healing process was hell as she kept itching down there. On many occasions, she would have to sit directly in front of a standing fan naked just to feel better.

Now 4weeks after she started getting better, her husband had to force himself on her, after his friends advised him that his wife was perfectly healed, and that her claim of still having pain was an excuse not to give him sex.

That was how the whole nightmare started again. As she had a terrible swelling around her private region and the episiotomy site got infected, bringing out pus and blood. She then had to run back to the hospital for treatment.

After reading the account of this woman on twitter, I had to find out for myself what actually was it with childbirth injuries. So I contacted few married women and a registered Nurse/midwife who gave me a lot of account of what most women pass through during childbirth. And it is scary.

But from what she told me, these things: the episiotomy, fainting, swelling and all whatnot can actually be avoided if only the woman would prepare herself before her EDD approaches.

And by preparing, I mean having the knowledge or being better informed on certain things she needs to do to lower her chances of childbirth injuries significantly. One of such is:

* Having an understanding of her baby's size in relation to the wideness of her birth cavity.
Some pregnant ladies don't go for scan to ascertain the size of their babies until few weeks to their EDD. Then when they hear their baby weighs 2kg, they start eating uncontrollably so that in a matter of weeks, the baby's weight doubles.

This alone is one of the pitfalls most pregnant women fall into. If you are an expectant mother, please don't set yourself up like this.

According to the registered Nurse who provided me with a lot of information I have tried to briefly summarize here, to avoid childbirth injuries, there are 4 very important things a pregnant woman must do.

While two of them must be done back at home, the other two must be done at the first and last visit to the hospital.

And it was with these 4 natural techniques she was able to help more than 200 women give birth to their babies without a cut, tear or episiotomy.

No drugs, no concoction to drink or going to the gym house!

It was hard to believe until I saw her video and her website where she explained a lot of things, including the pool of testimonials coming from women who obviously had fun giving birth; thanks to her coaching.

I believe she's going to be of great help to you if you are an expectant mother. Because the fact is that the greatest job any woman has with pregnancy is not about 'getting pregnant'. It is about 'giving birth'

I would like to share her video with you as well as her free materials.

You can reach out to me through my email address so I can direct you to her website and the resources she has created for you.

Health / Re: How To Avoid Injuries During Childbirth. by Zubbix: 5:02pm On Jul 09, 2021
Before the twitter ban, I came across this image (below post) which was an actual tweet from a medical doctor.

Usually and like many others, I do not pay particular attention to issues surrounding childbirth, maybe because I'm yet to father a child. But reading through this woman's experience actually sent some chills through my spine. It was a feeling of pity for her and a raving anger for whoever that attended to her during childbirth and her husband who went ahead to force himself on her. It could have been my sister or some lady dear to me.

This aroused my interest and I began to question some women who were around me, including mothers and nurses. It was at this point I realised that a whole lot of women do experience vagina tear at childbirth. Some even experience the excruciating pain after delivery for months, abhorring the pleasantness of sex.

For those who do not understand...

You might want to have a mental picture of your own flesh being ripped apart (this time around, it's down there) and instead of hitting the person right at the face or dashing out, you are meant to just lie down there, legs spread out, enduring the pain because ultimately your life depended on it.

And as scary as this may look, many expectant mothers aren't even aware of this. And some of those who must have heard stories, simply brace up for that day. Like one expecting a thief in the night.

I really do not wish this kind of experience for any lady. You don't have to be my sister or lady

Talking to the ladies now:
I have come to understand that these tears can be avoided. First, you need to understand the relationship between the size of your baby and the wideness of 'your' vagina.

Because Mrs Amaka gave birth to her 3.5kg child without a tear doesn't mean that you will also give birth to the same baby size without a tear. It's simply not by baby size, but by the size of your baby relative to the wideness of your vagina.

There's also the parental factor. A child can take up the father's stature. And if you as a lady do not match your husband's body stature, you might experience difficulty during childbirth.

Hence, the quicker you're able to understand the Parent's Body Equation Table and where you fall into, the faster you will be at making adjustments and work on yourself before your delivery day.

Now i would have loved to exhaust all my findings here because there are some very key steps every lady needs to know and implement to have a smooth delivery and most importantly avoid a vagina tear...

But for volume sake, and so as not to make this longer than it is already, i will end it here.

What I can do for you is give you access to an experienced professional nurse who happened to develop a simple system that involves implementing 4 natural steps towards avoiding this nightmare of child delivery.

Her system has helped more than 250 mothers deliver of their babies without a single tear.

And as a matter of fact, 80% of everything I wrote here were from her, and they're actually less than 20% of what she has to tell you. Meaning that I didn't give you all the info (for volume sake).

So, if you need her, you can reach me on my mail. Do this for yourself, your sister, and your Friend. You don't have to experience what others have experienced.

Lol... I can only point you to where you can get started from, and then give you some additional training. But it's a business ; so you have to take it like your normal offline biz.

One of the business I do is affiliate marketing. Though it's not a new online business but a lot of people don't know about it. It's a business of scale.

It's just a business of recommending and promoting high value digital products online. Products targeted at solving the needs of a large market. So that for every sale you make, you earn some commission from it.

20 sales can land about #450k in your account. Just by using your phone on Whatsapp, FB, Twitter and other social media platforms. So while others are busy doing what i don't know on FB, you're busy making money from it.

I laugh because you haven't seen how fast some online businesses can change one's financial status in a short time. I used to have doubts about this online stuffs until I made my first six figure through one of them. Then a lady got all my pistons firing when she made her first seven figures. Now, While we both have our white collar jobs, we milk from both sides.

Look at it this way...

To make enough money from Barbing, you have to scale right, and the only way to do that is: either you increase the quality of your Barbing services (like Installing a Plasma TV, an air-conditioning system, repainting the room, and so on) or you increase the quantity/number of Barbers in the shop. That is hiring more capable hands who are also skillful. Which means you have more people to pay salary.

Thing is, there will always be a cap (limit) over what you can earn from barbing because you can't keep employing more hands, and the speed of employee A can't be that of employee B.. So that if the maximum no of customers all of you can attend to in a day is say 20, you can't exceed that 20 even if you open your shop in the midnight. That's what I mean by a cap over your earning power.

But when you look at some online businesses, you will realise that the biggest asset they have is the internet space. Think FB, YouTube, Google, Instagram, Linkedln, TikTok, Snapchat and the others you know...How many people visit these platforms in just one hour... Now you get the gist.

There's simply no cap to your earning power. And the sweet thing about one of them is that; apart from leveraging on the online space, you can leverage on offline businesses like the barbing and leverage on solving people's problems or providing solutions to their needs/wants.

To say you can earn #400k in a month, is putting a cap over it... There's simply no limit to your earning power.

If these five 'Things' are available:

People
Needs/wants
Solution
Technology
Skill ****

Then you can tie a business around it and make so much money on automation.

Knowledge is simply money.

The more the hashTag trends on Twitter, the more relevant the platform becomes in Nigeria and the more valuable it becomes in the global market. Let's keep making a fool out of ourselves while thinking that in this challenging and competitive world where trade and tech war has become the order of the day, a foreign nation will want an Africa country to outdo them in Democracy and good governance. Don't you know that once we have good and stable governance, we'll start thinking of advancing our technological feat and reach. No foreign nation currently conceives the idea or possibility of an African empire. Imagine a country like Nigeria now building hypersonic missiles, DEW, nuclear propeller and warheads? That's a bigger threat to world peace and I'm in no way in support of that.

The truth is that Nigerian youths are growing wings and they have to be cautioned on time, unless we'll have to bear the burden of living with limited access to the internet and little or no access to other internet services like the world wide web and Co.

We'll only ended up pioneering a new generation where smartphones and computers will become irrelevants. In a tech world that's currently moving towards IoT where all our electronics will become an integral part of a smart environment, which will later give rise into a smart economy. A computer OR a smartphone without the internet is nothing but an electronic idiot. We should stop the protest now so that our kids will not live to become a victim of our weird and destructive invention.

The protest is gradually snowballing into an economic missiles and it needs to be stopped.

Can't believe you actually made that comment, 'Nigerian youths are growing wings...'
You actually have a big problem young man, fear and negativity has really gripped your life. For your mind you don calculate everything finish, forgetting the main reason why we are protesting. You are a bonified citizen of your country but you can't enjoy the benefits, you prefer being endangered, killed and enslaved , eating the crumbs that fall from the abundance that belong to you, and all you can say is this trash. If you are scared go lock yourself up in a cupboard and make sure you remain there for life

Under construction
Rainy season

Work is going on the road , it's normal during raining season in all construction sites

Work has been going on for more than 7years on that road. Each year, they bring in truck loads of clay and heap them at the corners of the road. Then they'll wait till rainy season to commence work, only for the rain to disrupt it. Each year, they do this. And it's one of the major route to the federal university in that state. Just a pity

She said "if I die?" is it that people can't read anymore.

No they can. The problem is comprehension or rather deciding not to comprehend because their minds are fixated on ' Power of the tongue '. Smh undecided
Family / Re: My Husband Wants To Know Everything About My Finances. by Zubbix: 6:31pm On Jun 06, 2020
Very funny. In just a year, you're already hiding from your husband , something as petty as how much you earn. Even if you feel he's going to 'steal' your money, why don't you give him the benefit of the doubt, after all you can always block your ATM card and request another from the bank if he makes 'unauthorized' withdrawals. its very clear that you love your money more than your husband. You have no idea what will be going on in your husband's mind if actually he just wanted to know how much you earn, but can't seem to understand why the woman who claims to be his better half can't trust him with her finance. When trust is broken in a marriage, its going to take a lot to get that back, and you're actually diving very fast deep into that state, in just a year. Someone needs to give you a factory reset slap, cos you need it to save your marriage from imploding.
