Will you stop giving false news here, how can you applied last week and visa issues? That's impossible even far back 2011 when we applied for visitor it's takes exactly 2weeks to be issued now it's 2019 it's not that easy
you don’t know her, but you’ve concluded she’s lying ? Back in 2012 the visa I got took a week and 2 days , while in 2015 the one I got for my wife took 3 days, and it’s all agent and in Lagos embassy.

So sa is now usa abi?

i think say na visit most of una dey go visit, e be like say work plenty there
No one is saying SA is USA bro , I’ve been staying in SA since 2012, I have business here too. And I’ve been to the states for visits twice, not everyone wants to live in the USA my man. Read to understand, I was only sharing that news since this platform involves everything South Africa visa.

Boss, I have been thinking of it too.
And my Brother in SA have paid him.
he told my brother that he Submit it with some group.
I’ve never heard of non appearance in Lagos, if you’re using agent. It is possible in Ghana , but I seriously doubt about that happening in Lagos.

That means I can still use my yellow card to travel to another country seems the validity is 10 years ?
same yellow card can be used for any country that requires it from you. Just keep it attached to your passport anytime you’re traveling out of the country.

This is just too terrible. I won't even think of submitting my tourist visa application at abuja anymore. It must be Lagos

Sorry Brother
Pls face Lagos bro. If I knew it was this bad wouldn’t have made the mistake of applying in Abuja.

Bros, From what I have gathered, the cause of delay at Abuja Embassy is backlog. Remember, someone ones mentioned that his daughter got her visa on June 10 in Abuja and the processing time was 6months. Judging by the previous posts, your family’s Visa seem to be the oldest because it’s way over 4months. My wife and kid just submitted in May. Let’s keep waiting for the positive outcome.
Brother, the delay is tiring. It’s been 3 months and a week we’ve been waiting for a tourist visit visa. I’m not even angry anymore, wifey and daughter birthday was supposed to be celebrated in Cape Town first week of this month, I even made arrangements but their birthdays don pass already. Withdrawing their passport doesn’t make sense right now. I’m not sure I’ve seen on this platform since I started following it that anyone have waited for 4 months untop visit visa. Mine will be 4 months in about 3 weeks time. The South african consulate don’t take Nigerians serious, because according to the email conversation I had with vfs in Nigeria. They informed me that South Africa High Commission phone lines and emails are not reachable for now.

Nothing yet, since 18th of March. It's worrisome but the option of withdrawal is not an option. Just keep hope alive.

Good day guys. My wife and daughter submitted their tourist visa application around March and today makes it 3 full month after they submitted in Abuja, and it’s still showing under assessment. Included in the application was Birth cert, marriage cert, photos of our marriage and child dedication, expired visa that was used back in 2016, and another expired visa that wasn’t used late last year. And joint account balance was around 2.1m. And the planned trip was May last month and now it’s almost June ending, and no update from them.. what do you guys advice I do?

Should I still wait till God knows when or just withdraw? And now I read they’ve even made things more stressful by booking appointments before submission.

I thought it’s only long term visa applicants that go through such delay, pls has anyone had this type of situation before ? makes one think some files were just dumped at one corner with no care in the world while waiting for applicants to withdraw. I’ll appreciate your input.

While some people are delayed, some are also treated quite fast in line with @TOPEADE'S post

submitted on June 3rd, got texts and emails on june 13th its ready, picked up today with the visas.
Got text june 3rd evening application was forwarded to SA high commission for processing
so it was processed in 5 working days or 6 at most if you count the day i submitted

Submitted similar documents to TOPEADE except pension and had a lil more funds in the account.

So just saying its not all cases that get delayed as seems to be the consensus this days

Regards
Congrats. That’s just under 2 weeks, was this in Lagos ?

Read between the lines. I was not attacking South Africa and i am sorry if you're a black south African. I do not have anything against SA but gratitude.
you have time to be replying people based on the fact you wrote. South Africa is a very beautiful country... But It’s a known fact, that most black South Africans don’t like foreigners, especially Nigerians.
