I think shock absorbers are the main cause of bouncing in cars.

There is a misunderstanding between the shocks and the bootys, get bootys off the ride son.

A car will bounce due to blown dampers (shock absorbers). It means the car is riding solely on the springs, with no control between depression and rebound. Pretty dangerous, if you hit a bump in mid-corner...

Recently my car bounces especially at low speeds sometimes it feels as if I have a flat tyre. I have done wheel balancing and alignment and changed tyres yet it hasn't stopped. What else can I do?
it might be your suspension or maybe shock shocks absorbers :3

I had a similar problem on a 2001 Toyota corolla. After visiting several mechanics, buying all new tyres, new shock absorbers, balancing and alignment..... The problem continued.

So I went under the car to look for myself.

There is a control arm attached to the front tyres. That's where the ball joint is mounted. At the others end, there is a rubber bushing at the point where the arm is attached to the chassis.

That bushing was broken, causing the entire arm to move up and down while in motion. It probably got broken when I entered a pothole at top speed.

So try to find a similar bushing, replace it, and you should be fine.

This is what a control arm looks like (see attachment)
