The Presidential system of government which is designed to ease governance amongst the three tiers which are,The Executives,Legislators and the Judiciary. This arrangement diffuses power amongst the three tiers in order to have smooth running of affairs of govt through separation of powers and checks and balances.Nigeria's democracy which is modeled after that of the US leaves much to be desired, looking at how the various responsibilities are shared in Nigeria's democracy one will wonder why members of the National Assemby are given huge sums of money for constituency projects, isnt that an Executive function?the law stipulates that the National Assembly is to laws, the executive is to implement, why the judiciary is to interprete conflicting interests. The question is the allowances given to the National Assembly justifiable?

members of national assembly ARE NOT given huge sums as constituency allowance.every constituency is allocated a certain sum per quater in the budget and its the duty of the representative of that constituency to propose the project to be executed with the money.however, the expenditure is made by the executive and not the representative
