This is a good topic, and very true.

instead of senselessly attacking the OP, why dont you dispute the thread logically?

When we export crude for sales (one product) and then import everything (countless of products) eg. Phone, food, laptops, car, fuel, gas, keroson, wevon, cream, tooth pick, matches, infact every thing that we consume in this country are been imported. Then Who is at lost? We should be ashame of ourself and forget the crude and gaint of africa thing and start to think.

The OP is correct! The Nigerian flag is an irony in all ramifications! angry
A country who citizens are not in any way united and hasn't known peace for eons.
Which agriculture, is there any state that generates more than half of their revenue from agriculture? undecided

Unless I'm wrong (and I'm hardly wrong on these types of things), the green in the Nigerian flag was really inspired by Islam and not agriculture. The same with the OAU flag. Most Islamic countries have green as prominent parts of their flags. The white signifies PEACE (not unity); but how can we have peace when we are in a permanent state of siege (of sorts)? To many stuff swept under the carpet and too many prophets being blamed for prophesying truth. sad
Our peace will come with FREEDOM and JUSTICE.
Whether it will ever happen in Nigeria remains to be seen.

Nigeria's flag should be black, (for oil) red, (for blood) and black, (more oil) with a little green stripe across the middle to keep the North Nigerians happy. grin
